I have the anc2 and honestly speaking they sound really good esp compared to bass headphones like the xb910. They are not all about bass. Used with a good source audio like Deezer or Tidal or Apple music they sound terrific. For downloaded music, NRG music app has a reverberation feature that really adds space to the sound. Ive used the Sennheiser M4 and honestly speaking you cant compare the two. I cant live without the two either since each is so unique in its own way. But most times i find myself packing the crusher anc2. The bass is seriously addictive. Eargasmic even. I give them a 9/10 for a basshead.

I use the personal sound on the Skull Iq app and in the EQ I just put the lows one circle up. Sounds amazing and I proved it by listening to melodic metal. Still has the "oomph" on the beats while being melodic and with a greater range and detail. The personal sound really helps.
I got a pair of these crusher anc 2. This headset has great instrument separation, and clarity, if you leave the "out of the box experience" behind. -You have to play around with the personal sound setting, and only after that do this headset show what it can really do. 50% of my friends (some with hifi speaker systems) noticed sounds and instruments they never heard in some of their favourite songs they listen to thousands of times. It is absolutely incredible. Personally i think that skullcandy is going for the most epic headset tailored towards rock music. Do the personal sound setting, leave the equalizer on "music", turn the sensory bass to 100% turn up the volume to 90-100% and lean back to the most impressive couch concert you heard in a while. Put a soft pillow behind your head, and feel the vibrations all the way down your body aswell Thank me later Obs* when listening to loud music, be sure to turn off anc. The sensory bass likes that -and leave your phones/laptop built in EQ flat, and let The IQ app do all the sound tuning

I like how people bring up the whole ANC on these... Legit, if the bass is on, you not hearing Sh!t cept the bass, why you worried about ANC when its quiet? lol
The only problem I have is I can hear so much background noise at my gym, to the point where in order to drown it out I need to have the volume and bass at a volume that will slowly damage my ears, only downside to these headphones
These have successfully replaced my Venue's I bought in 2019. Rich, full-bodied sound without the creak & flex noises of my old set. Those were good, but these ANC2's are 10 times better. And, I love the voice control. "Hey, Skullcandy..." 😎😊
As many reviewers you’re missing the point of taking time to tune the ANC2; can be tricky to tune yes to better my XM4 but to shorten it to well only if you’re a basshead… c’mon. agree about ANC and ambient modes.
@@lukegang8924 I listened to mine for 10 minutes and back in the box they went for a refund. Yes, I tried to EQ them with their weak-ass EQ. If you like sloppy bass and lousy mids and highs then these will be your best headphones.

The crusher side can always be added or cutoff and the range is so wide… EQ is very sensitive and the darned thing can be as loud as “who needs ANC”! So yeah these reviewers will never spend the days/weeks to tune it and it’s understandable. When these guys can’t really say anything more they summarize it as “for bassheads only”…

Got them certified refurbs for under $100 on the eBay store. New case and accessories. Easily the best $100 I've spent in a while. Love my crusher evos, but couldn't let a good deal pass. Also got my Evo's certified refurbs 2 yrs or so ago for $120, and are still flawless.
Nice video but u forgot to mention many things going on that those headphones, like customizing the buttons to ur likeness, and u can control the bass take on different percentage. Those headphones are packed with many technology and features u can't find on other headphones
I just wish I could use them wirelessly while playing my ps5. The fact that it's 2024 and I need to plug them in with a wire to my controller is so horse and buggy.

@@Mort849 I've heard from some people that the ANC 2s hit way harder if you turn the bass in the custom EQ mode up. Besides, the thing with the Evos is that past the halfway mark, their bass hardly increases at all. On other crusher models you need to turn up the bass a bit more to match the Evos at their lower levels, but its not because the Evos have way more bass. Its because the Evos reach their max early on when you increase the slider to 50-60%. Essentially, the Evos kinda trick you into thinking they have more bass with the way the slider works.
The 910 sound average at best. Not even the bass is a showstopper. Actually the sennheiser M4 bass hits harder. Sony is just bad with sound. Ive never used the soundcores but i hear they are a decent pair. Compared to the ANC2 the Sony would be kia up against a Tesla model s

Loved the Evo but these are better overall. I wish it had the Evo Crusher slider as opposed to the dial but… Pending on tunes quality you rarely need to go above 20% but… They are amplified so the volume can go louder if one needs to Talking about sound and instruments separation it surely can be done with ANC not with Evo and yes it CAN be tuned close to my XM4 in separation; adding on what RUclipsrs are missing in addition to separation ANC2 is a volume powerhouse above XM4 (not even bother mentioning bass…). XM4 offers way more gizmos that ANC2 doesn’t have surely.. So Evo are very good but not to ANC2 levels. Now we probably should see an EVO ANC sometime which will likely better ANC2

@@reklovjjI see where you're coming from with the slider being a good way to see/feel where the bass is at, but the wheel is ultimately much better in the long run. The thing with the slider specifically on the Evos is that the way the bass adjusts is not precise. From 0 to 50%, the intensity dramatically increases. Past that point though, it hardly changes at all. This makes it very difficult to find a sweetspot since any little movement with the slider in the lower levels dramatically increases the bass, making you constantly have to fiddle with it to get it in a good spot. Plus, the slider mechanism is more prone to wearing out overtime as apposed to the wheel on the ANC 2. On my pair of Evos, when I turn the bass all the way down, they sometimes do a weird thing where they activate the haptics on one side in a weird way, and if I turn it up from point zero, there's a weird scratchy sound. (Also, Crusher EVO ANC would be an awful name. Its just too confusing and too much of a mouthful.)

I've owned about 6 different headphones for the past 2 years, kept half of them and ended up giving the other 3 away. I found that after the 3rd pair the excitement of trying something different completely wears off, even though I daily drive my Hi-FiMan Edition XS for home listening, Skullcandy ANC 2's for having fun on the go, and Bose QC Ultra just for comfort and great ANC when traveling Either way: I still find them very helpful. Watched this just to see his thoughts on the ANC 2's
All I'm going to say is, if you are into bass and full bodied sound these headphones are phenomenal. I am beyond pleased with these.
