How does a random youtube commentor know the fucking price of the can but the douchebag in the Silencerco booth who works for silencerco as a silencerco marketer promoting sales of silencerco products not know the fucking price of a silencerco product. Fuck you.
I literally walked out of a store today after a long schooling about PCC suppressors. I was very close to ordering an Omega 9K, but decided to do some more research. Glad I waited. 👍
Omega 9k sucks you can’t clean it without the use of a machine. Imagine we’re at war and you’re out in the field with limited resources nothing but a brush, wipes cleaning, and an eye drop sized container of solvent and oil. If you can’t clean the fucking thing with that it’s worthless.
@@vitalityfox”imagine we’re at war”😂😂😂😂 prepping is cute and all but i hope you’re aware that you will never use any of your gear in a real scenario, its never gonna happen
most non browning tilt actions. As the uptilting with the heavy suppressor at the point of most unfortunate leverage is the problem. Beretta M92, Laugo Alien, Arsenal Stryk B / Strike one, Grand Power Xcalibur, HK P7, a Luger i suppose.
Still can’t find discussions about actually using this without a booster on handguns. The specs seem possible for boosterless but it’s as if Silencerco went silent. Is Silencerco the one to buy or go with Ecco Machine?
He didn’t misspeak. I had to dig through the manual because I was seeing the same thing you mentioned. The Spectre 9 manual says supersonic is good to go EXCEPT for full auto. I spent A LOT of time researching this one. Getting it tomorrow for a 9” 300 BLK pistol.
You did good, Considering the 9k is stronger and can do 300 super full auto with no bbl restrictions I think its a better can. Also I picked one up for $600 vs this $879.
I like having a kinda quiet can that's simple and easy rather than a big honkin drainpipe hanging from the end of my gun in most cases. I won't complain about either though. New suppressors are good,.
@jimyeats perhaps, but not on muzzle devices. I remember watching the development of the WWSD rifle and watching how the shower of sparks from titanium muzzle devices rendered the idea of titanium flash hiders an oxymoron. I grant you that flash hiders and suppressors are two different things, but it still seems unwise to me.
@@Pyreleaf It only does that when brand new. The titanium has burrs or small machine marks and edges that are thin enough to flare or ignite. It goes away. But yes, for a high volume muzzle device it wouldn’t be my choice. Again though, a lightweight titanium suppressor for certain purposes is awesome. I have a Form 1 titanium suppressor for a lightweight build and it doesn’t spark at all.
James' "whatever" after the price question had me rolling.
Agreed 😂

The silence of the background mafe me check if my headphones were on right lol
Looks like the MSRP is $879. Spectre 9. SWR made a .22 suppressor called the Spectre, years ago.

It’s an obvious choice for a suppressor name. It’s like Indian restaurants that have “Taj” in their name…

Any vendor who doesn't have a price for a product that is being released within 2 quarters needs to be boo'd
I want to know what handguns this can run on without a booster. That really catches my attention
Probably just berettas with rotating barrel actions. They can already run some suppressors without springs.
Probably aimed at using in PCC’s to use without a booster.

@@atomicsmithI’d guess they would spin off. The beretta tip ups probably don’t need it. Although it is really light and might cycle ok.
Not a dead air so it can’t be too bad

So did the rep misspeak about it being 300blk supersonic rated? Everything on Silencercos website says subsonic . . .

Um, what is the song used in these outros?
Is it flow through?
Did you find an answer . I’m looking for the same
as someone who already has a omega 45k and just purchased a 9k 2 months ago, i'm a little butthurt about the timing
Right, I was about to order a 9k. I guess now I gotta wait longer to see if this new can is any good. 9k is a great can, you made a good purchase bro

This will work 300 supersonic?
Yes. I had to dig through the manual to confirm. Just not full auto. I don’t have that luxury.
a great neat very interesting video and product Mr reeves.have a good one.
When they don't cost more than twice your average handgun (along with permit), I might be interested.
I've never heard of booster. I guess I'm going Google that 🤷.
If they do a bogo sale, I'll pick one up.
I want one for my Mpee5.
Just got my Omega 9k outta jail and saw this...but I'm very happy with my 9k.

Where did you get lucky enough to find one in stock?
