I heard of these guys back in '95. I still can't believe half of their songs never topped the charts. I love listening to them. Such talent, and catchy tunes and lyrics.
Well constructed sugary pop antics disguising brutal sad lyrics of verisimilitude. Gets me every time. (Like Beautiful South, The Smiths, and Frank Zappa.) I expect this song is drawn from real life; I would be flabergasted if it was spun out of whole cloth. But whatta I know? Cheers Judybats!

Neil), The Hippy Dude (?), Cool World (Soundtrack!), being young, slim, and fit! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU GUYS?! Good Times! GREAT music!, Cool Clothes!, Hell Yeah! The Underground (before Hip Hop ruined it! And made it Egypt….Alternative all the way, Baby!) then afterwards: The Boiler Room (and 💨 and Alternative🎶), Flamingos, Immortal Chorus, The Library THE WHOLE F*CKING 90’s….why did I check out? 😫 BTW: you should’ve MADE me quit smoking. Hindsight. Mark shouda stopped with acid, 🍄, 🪴 and healthy paranoia. Damn dude! I hate that for ya.
