I can't remember it was a couple years ago but all the trails there are really worth riding. Check it out on trailforks. I started at the main parking lot.
I actually went to a hardware store and bought my gloves. I like my hands protected, and found a lot of "cycling" gloves to be a one and done as they are usually quite thin.
@@theaveragemtbr1230 Fox Racing Dirtpaw Gloves are the best ones I've tried. They are built well and are not the one and done quality you may have experienced previously.
For most trails an XC is going to fine, though almost every area has a few black downhill or jump trails that would be more fun on something lower with slacker geometry. For trails like in this video, a nice hardtail xc bike would fun to zip through the trees.
How come? It's a good trail, just work your way up to it. Once your confidence and skills are good enough, you'll love it! Keep riding you'll get there faster than you think. Cheers.
@@theaveragemtbr1230 I did all of these trails and I agree that Mansfield was not one of my favorites(been there twice). For flow Palgrave is one of the better ones. Also Guelph Lake is on the top too for flow and also Simcoe County Forest trails.
30 minutes from Toronto? Even Toronto is more than 30 minutes from Toronto! Jk, great video.
Your early comment about looking right in front of the bike, that is what I did Friday night in the Don Valley and took a fall.
Damn not good I hope you are ok and all healed up
Great Video!!....did you get a chance to ride Section 9 "Last Resort"?
Thank you! I believe I did. According to trailforks I rode everything that day. Thanks for watching
Looks like some nice flow trails! May have to check them out! New sub here 🤘
Absolutely check them out! A couple of other places not too far from there are Heart Lake Conservation area and Dagmar North
Name of this trail please
And what is the area to start
Thanks 🙏✌️🇨🇦

Hi, can you recommend some cycling gloves that would work for most kind of biking?

that trail has to many fall risks for me so ill just enjoy your video
It's always good to know your limits. But you can do it. Just take it slow until you feel more comfortable.
Where in palgrave is this track?
I parked at the entrance that Trailforks said, then I rode all the trails. Most of the video is various trails throughout the trail system.
do i need a trail bike for southern ontario? Can I get away with an XC bike?

I road xc on all these trails for years, you'll have a blast!
that is a good trail for me to stay off of

Mansfield Ontario half an hour from palgrave. 1000 times better
Than dip in to ShitHouse ;)
I had been to Mansfield years ago. However, I wasn't much of a fan...maybe it's time to check it out again.
