- We made our way up to Copeland Forest just north of Barrie Ontario to get some riding in with some decent elevation! It was worth the drive, Copeland Forest is the best singletrack trails in Southwestern/Central Ontario in my opinion!

Great video! Keep them coming please!
Thanks! And I plan on it!
Great to see you riding some more gnarlier lines. Always wanted to check Copeland
You need to check it out!
right on Toogy, looks like fun man. I'll have to take a trip out sometime and check this place out!
You definitely should!!
That looked really cool. Looked like some great trails for pumping. Damn. I'm totally going to pretend I'm awesome there!
Haha yeah they are great trails!
Ça c est du Good trail
"how much my legs can handle.." far more than mine, that's for sure. The little one now beats me on most climbs. :) I like this video. a few trails we have not see before.
Yeah the older I get the more I hate climbing lol, not that I ever really liked it!
Another confirmation that Copeland is a legit set of trails to consider.
Another great share, TH!
Thanks! And yes if you’re in the area you need to check them out!
Copeland is definitely one of my favourite locations and you hit most of my favourite trails - too bad you couldn't get to Heights of Horseshoe - hopefully next time!!
yep! it was a real bummer, but the rain just didn't let up at all.
The rock 🪨 !!!! I don’t blame you. That was f’n nuts the first time
yeah it is NUTS! I still can't believe I did that in 2020 lol
Sic trails, definitely worth the climbs
Totally man! Can’t wait to go back there and this time also check out HOH
I'm planning a trip to Horseshoe early in July, so I may have to check out Copeland while I'm in the area!
I feel like I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to big features...I was hitting everything last year, but a few crashes made me take a few steps back for this season.
you definitely need to check out Copeland! I prefer it to horseshoe! Better dirt and terrain and trail length! No lift though lol
@@ToogyHowser Where did you camp? I'm thinking I'll try to hit Copeland, camp for the night then do horseshoe the next day. Hopefully I won't get rained out like you did! Haha
Last time i was ther had to cut it short for it judt down poured. Was just out on the Canada Games trail very nicely done
Canada Games trail? that's at Copeland?
No in Niagara
I used to love riding there and then I moved to Squamish, not much gnar at Copeland, plus we used to get lost all the time ;)
Yeah without Trailforks I’m not sure how you would find your way around there!
@@ToogyHowser friends that kinda knew 😂
I’ve never done 5th dimension. But, it looks pretty rad!
yeah man, arguably tied with Copeland DH as the best trail there!
It's definitely a great trailsystem for southern Central Ontario. But anything south west of Toronto. Hydrocut is on par dispite the lack of trail lengths.
Yeah it’s on par with the Hydrocut but I like the “long” descents at Copeland better!
@@ToogyHowser I fully agree on the overall length on downs, Copeland is a gem for people in southern Ontario. It's definitely a couple times a year trip. Especially now with fuel prices so high.
I don't think it's fair to compare Copeland and Hydrocut, they're two very different trail systems. Hydrocut is more along the lines of the IMBA sidewalk type stuff, whereas Copeland is about as natural of trail surface as you can get. Majority of the trails in there have very little ground work done to them and it's like riding true single track.
Great GoPro setup too. Do you have horizon lock on?
Nope, just a GoPro Hero 10 with hyper smooth boost on
@@ToogyHowser I just picked one up!! Super excited to try it out tonight. I ordered the enduro batteries too since it seems that hyperboost crushes the standard battery. Looks like I’m going to have to try and get out to Copeland forest too. I’m going to horseshoe valley in a couple weeks and staying the night
Is it Copeland Forest you're at? That place north of Barrie, Copeland Forest?
Haha yep that’s where I was!
Are the climb trails reasonable?
Yeah they aren’t that bad really
In my experience, balls and brains are usually inversely proportionate.
Haha true!
Just been there last week. Saw your video last year of your crash and I forgot about that jump but I survived. Good riding, glad you are healthy again. Check my mtb channel, maybe we can ride together sometime.
Hope you liked your visit there!
