  • After our visit at Buckwallow we traveled to Copeland Forest the next day. This place is HUGE!
    Loved the trails here, lots of nice downhill runs! and with all those downhill runs, came lots of climbing!
    The only negative I would give this place is there are NO signs for the trails at all. So I highly suggest you have trailforks or something with you when you go so you don't get too lost.
    Anyways, hope you enjoy our adventure at Copeland Forest and stay tuned for more!!

      We’ve all done it before at some point. That’s why it’s funny to see and hear about it. People can relate to your videos.

    Good video fellas. As someone who rides in copeland alot you have no idea how many trails are in there. Yes the downhills are awesome but there are some really good flowy sections in the lower levels. You just have to explore it is endless

      @ToogyHowser  6 лет назад

      I'm sure there is and can't wait to go back! We just ran out of steam and had a long drive back home ahead of us! :)

      If you decide to come back up to Copeland leave me a message. Would be cool to meet up with you and show you all of what Copeland has to offer

      That would be awesome, I really hope to be able to get there once more this fall, and also check out horseshoe across the street.

    • @Stretch-ei4pw
      @Stretch-ei4pw 6 лет назад

      Don't waste the time at horseshoe trials arent all that great. Biking thru copeland you can get to the xc trails at horseshoe. Plus you have to pay. Much better at copeland

    Hey Toogy, I see you're really enjoying that Trek Roscoe 8... I have my eye on the Roscoe 7 2019 they got out already... It's the Neon Yellow and Black colored version, $1100 and some change... It's definitely on my radar...

    • @charlesholland6851
      @charlesholland6851 6 лет назад +1

      ClayDog Madman where you see that?

    • @charlesholland6851
      @charlesholland6851 6 лет назад +1

      ClayDog Madman i was in the market for roscoe 8. i actually had it on layaway and owed $200 before i figured out i’d have to get something else.
      the difference between the 7 and 8 was miles apart for the money in my opinion.

    • @claydogmadman7843
      @claydogmadman7843 6 лет назад +1

      Charles Holland
      Google in Trek Roscoe 7 2019 it comes in Matted Black with Blue lettering which is also awesome, and then there's that Neon Yellow with black lettering... So yeah, just Google in Trek Roscoe 7 2019...

    • @charlesholland6851
      @charlesholland6851 6 лет назад +1

      ClayDog Madman yeah I seen them. Just didn't realize they finally came out. I notice the 8 is a bit more expensive

    • @claydogmadman7843
      @claydogmadman7843 6 лет назад +1

      Charles Holland
      Yeah, the 8 has a drop seat post already installed... The 7 and 6 are only dropped posts ready... Yeah that Neon Yellow Roscoe 7 is my must get bike... It's the paint Charles, it's that fucking Neon Yellow paint...

    Are these the SCMBC trails? Do you need a pass? Where is the trail head? Thanks for the vid

    • @ToogyHowser
      @ToogyHowser  6 лет назад

      rippinmachines I’m not 100% sure but I think so, and there is no fee to ride. There are a few parking lots you can see if you look up Copeland forest on trailforks www.trailforks.com/region/copeland-forest/

    • @waynekibbler2710
      @waynekibbler2710 6 лет назад +2

      The trailhead where you started is the Amos tract, it is part of our SCMBC trail system and drops into Copeland off 5th line. No pass needed for our system except on private links where signed. Support your local club, it takes a lot of cash and volunteer hours to build and maintain single track.

      Thanks Wayne. I don't live in the area and want to give them a try. Will I be able to ride from the Bass Lake Road trail head?

    • @waynekibbler2710
      @waynekibbler2710 6 лет назад

      Yep, 7th Hub at Bass Lake and 7th Line loads of trail, go across the road and ride the loop opposite the parking lot. We call it "Creeks" 11 Bridges over small creeks that go through the lower Eastern side of the property. 10 km of fun, ride it clockwise, it is fast and flowy. Trail has been on the ground 2 years, 9K invested on the bridges and we pulled the stringers (cedar) from downed trees on the property. Enjoy

    • @Stretch-ei4pw
      @Stretch-ei4pw 6 лет назад

      The best area to park is off of ingram road. Starts of with good flowy trails then you climb hit the downhills and finish off in the flowy sections again

    Roscoe 8 2019 is here. i don’t see how it’s $200 more than last year. my Salsa will do just fine. i done need 1 by 12 anyways

      I was going to get one dealer said end of the month, but I factored the higher price tag and the fact it’s looks from picture the color is boring

    • @charlesholland6851
      @charlesholland6851 6 лет назад

      I like the color. It's just too late. My trek dealer ordered me a Salsa. My bike is snow white. Looks good though

    Do you clip in or flat pedals?

    • @ToogyHowser
      @ToogyHowser  6 лет назад

      I'm running flats, I tried clipless last fall and didn't feel confident with them. I know there are benefits to running clipless pedals but I'd rather be able to bail if needed from a crash!

    • @THOELL2737
      @THOELL2737 6 лет назад +1

      Toogy Howser MTB I go back and fourth I used clipless for years but latly so much more confident on flats I get tire of the slow motion falls lol. Love the videos. Keep up the good work

    • @ToogyHowser
      @ToogyHowser  6 лет назад

      yeah the slow motion clipped in falls are the worst haha
