How many times we can apply for non profit catagory H1b bcz. This one is more important for me because i am physical therapist and if i can apply for non profit root bcz there are some jobs for healthcare program.. and i can save so much money for my college fees bcs STEM course is so expensive. And without STEM i can manage my tution fee.
Hi ! My name is Suyog. Intro: I am a GA in UIC in accounting department at Institute of Health & Research. My degree is MS in Supply chain & Operations management. My work is PARTIALLY related to my degree for example making POs PRs and reviewing/making invoices & sending for payments and other responsibilities too but I learnt those while working there(other responsibilities). So now I am in my last semester and I asked my manager for a full-time, and she said yes as for them I am indespensible resource (their words). So my HR responded that they are moving forward with me in any case for full-time appiontment but he wanted to know the relevance of my degree at this role. I sent it today explaining all the subjects I have taken and the relevance.. Question: Will this partial resemblance in my degree and current work responsibilities create a problem in securing an employement?(in terms of my H1-B) Will this be a H1b-cap exempt?
Question: 1. Does h1b 6 year limitation is in place for this kind of h1 without lottery? 2. Can PERM and I-140 be filed after having h1b without lottery?
My son did masters in USA n now currently working for phizer company ( NC) from 2 years, he has been not selected for H1B visa (3 times) any possibility of H1B cap exempt help him to continue there?
Someone who was initially on H1b cap subject (Lottery process) transferred his visa to non-profit company (H1b cap exempt) and looking to transfer to profit companies in future, Does he needs to go to Lottery process again?
I picked in lottery 2020 and filed petetion case approved, but i changed to other project what the situation of mine now, i didn't went to visa interview
What if we get the i140 approved during the h1b cap exempt and later want to transfer to a h1b cap subject, do we need to go through the lottery process?
I am a marketer. I have been on H4 for the last one year. Thanks to your suggestions in other videos, I have been volunteering via Catchafire, it’s been good. But, I want to work, there’s not thrill without getting paid. I dunno where to start. Should I contact a consultancy and start my H1B process?
You can also reach out to non profits for a cap exempt h1b. Your experience of working for one can help you with that too. We have posted a video on our Instagram story to which you've replied. Watch that video. In that video, we've mentioned a source where you can find companies that sponsor h1b cap exempt. You can then try to reach out to those companies too.
Hi, I got selected in H-1B lottery but due to RFE my request got denied in my employer website but now they're saying that I can raise a request for H-1B CAP exempt, so could you please make a video to help understand on my scenario, Thanks.
Ma'am, my international passport will expire next year, July 2024. I'm planning to apply for my visa. Do I need to get a new passport that will cover 3 years of my H1b duration, or is my current passport, which is still valid for 11 months , sufficient for visa application?.
You can definitely go with current passport but you will have to eventually renew so I would recommend renewing first and then getting visa for a hassle free experience
Hello, Can spouse of h1b exempt get h4 EAD? And do they going to have same limitations as h1b cap exempt that they can only work for non-profit organizations?
If h1b cap exempt person has an i140 then the H4 spouse can apply for an h4 EAD and get one. No restrictions on anyone with an EAD. Can do whatever job they want
That's absolutely a wrong information about minimum wage. Nowhere it is mentioned a specific wage for all H1-B cap exempt jobs. It all depends on the Job position and the job role. This kind of misinformation confuses people. Please research before making videos. Information source: qualified immigration attorney. Please cross check with one.
We've never mentioned specific wages. We've mentioned "minimum wage". The source is a DOL fact sheet which is also linked in the description. We believe that's a very legit source over and above anything an immigration attorney will say. Because it comes straight from the government. We do our research very thoroughly before putting out any content unlike others whose videos may have actually confused you.
You have clearly mentioned minimum wage as 60,000 in 7:09 minute. It is wrong. There is no such threshold. And so you are claiming that attorneys are not the correct source and they do not have correct information from the government but you do?
@@ankitapal23 yes we've mentioned about minimum wage and quoted the source from the govt and shared it in the description. Would urge you to check that out. Immigration lawyers refer to the same source.. and just fyi we collaborate quite frequently with immigration lawyers. Feel free to check out our channel if you have the patience for it. Do not misinterpret what we've said. We said, for "this source" we don't need to consult an immigration lawyer because it is coming directly from the government. The fact sheet shared in the description clearly states that 60000 is the minimum wage (full in hand) not including any benefits. If you're getting paid less on a cap exempt h1b then you should probably show that Department of Labor fact sheet to your employer.
This type of h1b is very appealing but many places even with such good work experiences of individual they pay 60k per year which literally poverty with current inflation and prices. It seems like there is no room for negotiation of salary either
Hi Mam, I have this query, kindly see if you can answer. I had used 5 years of my H1B when in July 2020, I was laid off by employer "A". you should check with your employer if they sponsor it. If it is a state hospital then there are chances you may be eligible.
@@itsokyaaar they’ve told me they can’t sponsor my position but I’m assuming that’s the regular H1B. How would I go about asking them for this one?

I don't see a problem in this. It should be possible but always check with a lawyer to be extra sure since every case is nuanced
