In case you guys are wondering, I didn't fight Astalos in the Demo because I wanted to save the experience for the full game. Glad I made that call because my reaction to the fight wouldn't be nearly as excited if I hunted him in the demo and then the full game.
Also if my zero-sum Discharge didn't flinch and finish Astalos, I would've died from his dive move because I was at half health lol.
Well lets hope together astalos gets a sub species like bishaten (not the same but i think you know what i mhen)

That double mantles 😂 I got so much shinies with my plunderer cat ! Even from monsters I only encountered during quests.
I like how the game showers you with mantles for monsters you don’t need and refuses to drop you the one mantle you need for a specific armor set
I decimated 20 something Malzeno before calling it quits and just progressed the story kek
It is a shame that Lunagaron and Garangolm don’t have their own themes, as I in particular was praying that they did. However, Malzeno makes up for it by having one of the best themes in monster hunter! (imo)
When I hunted it for the armor I ended up also farming for the mantle, and when I finally got it I got 3 in the same quest

i shall not track you down reaver, you captured the mizu. i dont really knwo whether or not i like lunagaron, astalos was a good fight but not as MIGHTY as mizu. my favorite urgent and survivor of a game is comign i sense it
Doesn't Mizu usually spend like half the fight being beaten on the floor?

Reaver looks so Happy when he fight Astalos, since Astalos had the Only Boltreaver Attack, it really suits the Blue Color at Astalos's Armor.
I think in that stars you gonna see Espinas. (i guess?)
I could feel Reaver's happiness coming through the screen during the first Astalos hunt xD
( It makes me want to launch the game to hunt more Astalos too ! )
Hopefully they bring deviants back in sunbreak
Considering Apex is not back in Sunbreak, deviant not gonna be back unless they make it a suprise like Frostfang does
Mizutsune and Astalos are now Betrayers of the Fated four like Glavenus. Only Gammoth remains to be loyal to the team.

When i hunted Astalos for the armor, I hunted it sooo many times and still no mantle. Ironically the mantle would finally come, not from an astalos hunt, but an Espinas hunt that an astalos was in. My cat somehow managed to pilfer a mantle off of it.
So is the Astalos armor good for Switchaxe? Just woundering. Or did you farm it for another weapon?

I got 3 mantles on my first hunt. I got one from a shiny, one from the tail and one plundered by my cat. Literally each of the lowest odds ways to get em too. The desire sensor can suck it hahaha
U know most of the comunity is fighting with the hole mizu vs glavenous but deep down everyone loves astalos

My friend needed Fulgur Anjanath mantles for the layered armor. We hunted it 10+ times and i got at least one mantle each hunt.

Good Luck is a scam confirmed. Jokes aside,glad you had fun fighting him. I like Astalos too,but he made me rage quit the first time i fought him. I got triple carted...tho i was using an unupgraded Izuchi set in MR4 xD
I've literally never used that skill and I'm fine. Even if I need to grind a bit I know Imma be hunting the same monsters 50 to 100 times each so I ain't worried about it lol
The game is pretty generous overall. I've been picking up mantles/rubies/orbs from shinies and carving them from tails or the body of the monster the whole time. The only one that was a bit tricky to get was the Malzeno Bloodstone,but even that i got from the 6th hunt. Way better drop rate for rare mats than in Rise.
I can my mantle luck In sunbreak was mostly pretty good I Even got 3 mantles form Sunbreak Final Boss before I Even Defeat the Monster Once and I Have Over Ten Malzeno Bloodstone (his Rare drop) form all the grind I was doing to get my master rank to MR 100 and then Some more quests later too!
For sure i am fully with astalos its the first i seen when i played first a version of monster hunter (it was 4 ultimate i think)
Even if there isn’t boltreaver astralos at least they added its moves to the astralos 😁🥳😊

Reaver, I feel your pain. Me and my brother were farming astolos for a mantle. My brother got so lucky and I got 1 on the tenth try.
