Greg have a fiddle with you power settings on your pc. Just check this setting is disabled. Go to windows 10 control panel > power options > change plan settings > change advanced power settings > usb settings > usb selective suspend settings and ensure on battery and plugged in are set to disabled. May not be this causing your issue but worth a try
The problem you're having with the buttons being reassigned is due to using a USB hub. If you have free ports on your PC, use those. I had the same problem with 2 button boxes connected to the same USB hub. It's not due to selective USB suspend, I had that disabled.

I was wondering about the large rotary dial from Apex and why it looked so good on your dash. I have an Apex Slim Racer that I bought in January with two large rotary dials. They are the ugly 3D printed ones. I want what you have. I’ll have to reach out. I also have an issue with my Apex Slim Racer. Sometimes it just disappears from windows and either has to be reset via the USB hub or even worse sometimes I have to restart my PC. I never have these issues with my two DSD boxes or anything else. Only the Apex. It’s not all the time but enough to notice.
Sounds like the same issue I have with my box. USB is so freaking hard to diagnose. The new knob is so much better, I would definitely pick one up, it changed the feel of the knob for the better. I think he just got them finished this summer so I would assume there is stock.👍🏾
GTGreg I’m definitely gonna reach out to Jimmy. What pedal set are you using? You have an idea on how your gonna invert them? I ordered a 3P set of HPP JBVs almost two months ago. Patiently waiting. I’ve been thinking about inverting them.
@@OhItsThat I'm gonna try a simple box of 8040 over the pedal area and mount just the brake and clutch on top and keep the throttle on the bottom. Basically 3 pieces of extrude with some side flat mounts and a couple corner brackets. Should work if my measurements work out. I literally only wanna flip them upside down so I don't think I'll need any angling but only time will tell. Hopefully the extrude will be here next week and I can give it a shot. Mine are sprints by the way, hoping it's as easy as my brain said it would be. Jbvs are sexual 😂, rly want a set

So I’m just going off the strength off what people say about the older HPP pedals that they feel amazing. I almost ordered the Wave Italy Pedals in the inverted config but at the end of the day I wanted to buy American.

I think the issue you’re having with reassigning the button box stems from your use of the HUB.
Do you have a link to the Porsche button box? I’m trying to do the same thing for my rig

I did but the guy that was supposed to wrap my seat (and my car) andes up flaking out so, on the back burner for a while. Thanks for the reminder 😁
