Awesome !! I love how you did this video in under 4hrs, unlike all the other videos I have painfully watched from others!! you should give lessons to the other tumbler makers' youtube ramblers on how to make a useful productive video! THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!

@@destanier1894 You have to make the template into a solid shape. Here's how to do it in SCAL: Import PDF Open Fill & Stroke Fill to Black Change width to 5 Path>Stroke to Path Draw box over template (solid) Select all Path>Exclude Select all Object>break apart Delete the other shapes and export.
Yes, but you don't need this for skinny tumblers. Those images are just rectangles, so just measure your tumbler and resize the image accordingly. It's usually something like 9.3"x8.2" (20oz).
It's really easy to do if all you need to do is crop an image to fit the template. If you need to actually warp your image, it's a little more involved, but still not difficult. I'll make a video. One tip that may help you now is, depending on the program you are using, you may need to fill the interior of the template so that it is a solid shape, not just an outline. (Inkscape, for sure will only work with shapes)
I tried using the site and it only lets me enter millimeters and when I convert my inches to millimeters its saying please enter a value of 32 or less? Am I doing something wrong?
It defaults to inches so that's why you can't change it to inches. Enter your measurements in inches. If you want to use mm, you have to click on "Millimeters" and then enter the measurements in mm.
I don't, but I'll make one, later. Depending on the program you are using, you sometimes need to fill the interior of the template so that it is a solid shape, not just an outline. Inkscape and Silhouette, for sure will only work with solid shapes.
I saved it and imported the image into design space and just deleted the background (with the background remover tool). Then kept the shape filled in and it worked fine
I did “save as” from the PDF to change it to a PNG if that’s necessary. I have a Cricut so I’m not sure about silhouettes in general but for future reference you can change the PDF file type!
It defaults to inches, so just enter your measurements. If it's defaulting to mm, click on "Inches". If it's still not working, use a different browser.
If you only have Silhouette Basic, you'll need to convert it to PNG. There are lots of free image and graphics programs that can be used, like Inkscape or GIMP. (Open pdf, save as png) You can also use this method: ruclips.net/video/mMTwrNz90o4/видео.html

OK, got the template information - great stuff. Question: I have a 3"x3" logo. How do I adjust the logo to fit the template?
It depends on the software you're using, but you're going to need to "warp" the image to match the curve.
straight to the point... thank you!!

Hey, thank you for sharing! Are you able to help me fill in the template? I’ve been trying for a week and only get a small space to fill in.
What program are you using?

what size tumbler did you make with those measurements?
It was random to show how to use the template maker. You measure *your* cup to get the size that *you* need.
Oh my goodness .... THANK YOU!!!!
Thank you for sharing! Fantastic.
I’m new to all of this. How do I add my design to the template once it’s made?
Thanks. So easy
It’s downloading in pdf how do I convert that to svg or png??
Exactly what I'm wanting to know also
Very very helpful, Thank you so much!
youre amazing thank you so much
This downloads as a PDF how do you get it in an SVG to upload to circuit?
You'll need to convert to a file type that can be used. This is how I do it: ruclips.net/video/mMTwrNz90o4/видео.html
How do I upload the template to word? It’s not showing the template just a blank page
Thank you

I have a straight file. How can I turn it into a tapered file the image is already straight. How can I turn it into tapered?
You'll have to warp your image.
Thank you!
Very helpful.
Is there a way to use this in cricut design space?
Not if the template exceeds the print size limits of DS.

How do you know the width of the labels
You need to measure your cup.

Make sure your measurements are accurate and your printer is not set to scale or fit on page.
