THANKS!
I have a 2011 S4, 6M with larger crank and supercharger pulleys, ultracharger, APR intercooler, carbon fiber intake, software upgrade and Milltek exhaust. Package came together with no issues or CEL. Good luck with your car. Very nice!
Dude, you got the best colour combination upholstery/seats - in my opinion anyway.
Thanks man
To deactivate traction hold the button until the stability reduction is shown. So hold button for 3sec
launch control might be the fuel cut range...set a little higher and this may improve the issue - also, wonder if the 034 motosport intake pipe will help with your issue - I have one on mine, and it's great....also, the TPS, is it clean?
has the fuel economy improved since the new throttle body has been installed?
Good honest video 👌
Hey bud
Have you dyno ran the car before and after? Compared on the strip?
Tossing up whether to go bigger throttle body. Also where did you grab the TB from? Also in Aus.
Not yet dude. Exhaust issues still present, currently working on a fix. Then it’ll go dyno. If you’re already dual pulley and happy. You don’t need this. If you want the extra power then go for it. I ordered all my IE shit direct from them
you didnt hold the traction control off button long enough
If I hold it, it just turns itself back on.
I tried this. You’re right holding it longer changes one more level off traction off HOWEVER still doesn’t wanna launch lol
Weird mine works hold traction button longer maby and launch no problem.
Hey man great vid. I have the tpms malfunction & parking brake malfunction also on my 10’ A5 any suggestions on what I should do. I’ve changed the brake caliper motors already and nothing
Have you tried clearing codes with a computer? Have the wheels been changed?
did u put the car in service mode when u changed the motors
Crazy you mentioned that. I have a 2012 a4 b8 and noticed that those malfunctions were associated with the maf sensor when connection was unplugged. Crazzyyy!! Not sure why that is though
Have you considered APRs larger TB and Ultracharger?
Is the ultra charger the same as the TB?
@@TheFittingBay yes. Go to goapr.com or just google ultracharger
Wait so you do have to download a tune addon for the throttle body?
How big of a difference in your opinion did the throttle body make compared to just being dual pulley?
Stuff all tbh but ill compare properly when i have a bigger intake as its restricted now :)
Ive never been to dyno as I went stock - > Dual pulley --->Ultracharger. The car just has much better throttle response for certain. Id say maybe 5% increase, I could feel, but maybe was just placebo. The car seemed to "wind up" quicker I have yet to tune for e40 but just on 93 tunes alone the car felt different in a much better way. Comparing all the other mods the ultracharger is not the best value hp/$ but in my opinion was surely worth it. The look on a rich Mf'ers face as you keep up with him and his call girl, Priceless. LOL
hey where did you find your shifter knob? tried online and most are for LHD
I don't think LHD or RHD matters for this shifter?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ain’t even gotta say non
Thanks brother
Nice vid man!
Thanks man
I’m trying to decide between a b5 and b8. Both would be manual. For some reason it’s harder for me to find low mileage manual b8’s than it is to find lower mileage b5’s. What’s the car like with 90,000 miles. Is it worth it at that point or should I wait for a lower mileage car.
hmm 90k miles is not too bad, if the car is immaculate and up to date with services etc. I would hold out personally, esp in the states where there is heaps of these and if i could do it again i would get a 8.5 however the 8 is still an awesome car. 8.5 just looks so much better.
Bought one recently 79K 6speed drives and smells brand new. Awesome find and glad I came across it. I'd say best car I ever owned coming from BMW E39 M5 which I still have. 2 different cars but the S4 B8 2011 pulls instantly and getting a lot of attention rarely see B8s on the road. Don't wait cus these 6speeds are hard to find especially the B8. 2010 I'd say be fine but make sure to get sport differential modes! Luck finding one. Best decision I ever made!
can you go from factory to ultracharger upgrade ?
Start with tune/pulleys
Where is the wiring for the epc light located on a b8 s4? Is it the same as the b8 A4?
Wiring for the EPC light? On the throttle body you mean? Should be in the same location I’d imagine
@@TheFittingBay in other words, so the epc light is caused by the throttle body ? I get the epc light and malfunction message randomly, comes and goes, but would like to know what’s causing it.
@@Chidera_Ude mine came from throttle body as I changed it but yours could be a range of things man plug in VCDS and read codes
Is there a benefit to the TB without porting the supercharger? Thanks
Not heaps man but the numbers are definitely there. I noticed the biggest gains from single / dual pulley.
@@TheFittingBay I did my stage 2 with a crank pulley and nothing compares to the difference that made!
Is that the cts intake
How is ET and J this wheels? :D
get 034 motorsport tune, theyt are better
Shots fired
What would u say A6 3.0 vs S4 same engine right same mods and everything.
Not totally sure. I think so but there’s a good chance some stuff could be slightly different
I believe so. I read it's just detuned in the A6 as to distinguish it from the S4. Not sure how exactly though, possibly just a tune, if so then that's easily fixed.
@@pklifter detuned how? The older s4 like i believe 2015 is running same hp and torque as the 2016 A6 3.0
@@rickyhernandez6195 oh really. Must not be detuned at all then. I've been researching B8 S4 recently in the hopes to find a good one. It seems the US market is very different in ways of what they get compared to AUS.
@@pklifter yeah not in the US until recent with the new s4 i believe its got 20 more hp and the A6 got like 2 or 3 more hp but the difference is the a6 is more luxurious then the s4
So, was it worth the dollars to put the lager throttle body on? After a while it's $ vs gains and the dollars get more and the gains get less...
It's really only worth getting if you plan to go E40 or ported blower. Otherwise I wouldn't pay the $800.
Haven't put car on dyno but it just feels better. Throttle response is definitely improved.
sounds like a fuckin hellcat😂😂
its was a beast
Automatic? Come on man...
Hahaha DSG ftw
DSG is so much faster than any manual.
Still would never be as fun as a manual. Little girls toys
@@bonecc4061 man my daily is a manual, and I always wanted a DSG car. I’d happily race a manual S4 😏
@@bonecc4061 Maybe not as fun but slower.
