really not much of a change for the hidden mist village, they don't decide on who gets to be mizukage by popularity or leadership qualities, the strongest in the village becomes mizukage, that's how the village operates, she didn't become mizukage because the people liked her, she became mizukage because she was more badass than anyone else. also ninja with kekkei genkai wheren't persecuted in the ninja village, yagura extensively used people who had kekkei genkai in his reign of terror, that's why they where hated by the general population, hakus father was a civillian, that is why he hated them, had haku been born inside the hidden mist village with a shinobi as his father (instead of some rando civilian) his life would have been drastically different.

Killer Bee has a good relationship with his Tailed Beast, and he didn’t need to battle Naruto to do it. Mizukage Mei is no pushover, she has Vapour and Lava Style, but Chojiro is also not to be trifled, that sword is one of the Seven Swords of the Mist (the group Kisame and Zabuza were a part of). Tsuchikage also holds the Particle Style Kekkei Genkai, even able to change his own weight to float in the air. Sasuke is certainly lucky, backup and plot armour is a deadly combination. He’s also very overconfident in his abilities. I think without help he’d be dead about...8 times now?

He fought 10+ Shinobi including 20+ samurai, not to mention he was flexing & testing out new abilities (susano’o/Amaterasu) along the way. He wasn’t even fond of his own abilities. He’s not even my favourite character, but certain people blatantly overlook characters accomplishments.
