Inconsistent personality, forced edgy, Deus Ex Sharingana and a couple of other reasons. I still like Kishi, but sry to call him honestly a brilliant writer is just wrong. Sasuke is badly written, the whole war arc was just pure power-creep, by far too much talk and plot no jutsu, the whole Kaguya thing, his female characters(including another MC) in general and so on.
gunchar06 personality, did you ever think what kind of chemicals were going on through sasuke s brain? It is believed that murder and war changes people, Sasuke went through stages of sorrow, denial, anger and eventually hate. He asked himself why is this happening to me and reached his own conclusion (explained by his revolution). I'm sure if the same things happened to you, you would go through similar stages that's not to say you would end up like sasuke. So don't berate Sasuke when you don't even understand him.
As for the sharingan, it is a gene from a long lineage of jutsu users who originate from an otherworldly being who has immense power. Of course it is going to have developed new and crazy abilities.
The only thing I can agree a little with you on is the female characters, Sakura can be annoying. But even so, I could explain some of their actions.
Idk your age or intelligence, I'm not doubting your capability either. All I'm saying is sometimes you need to think critically. There are many stories and anime which have different dynamics and themes that aren't always laid out for you, it's like poetry or music. There can be many different underlinings or interpretations. Just think brother. And don't be negative all the time if you can help it.

I never was a fan of Sasuke BUT I always kinda could see where he was coming from. Even his decision to destroy the leaf village or that he wants to kill Danzo and the elders. Killing all the other innocent People in the leaf was already strange but now he really becomes crazy in this arc.I try hard to not judge him since he still had some kind of heart. He was not killing people that doesn´t stand in his way but this changes now (as Curtis will see soon) and this is were I truly gave up on understanding Sasuke.
I like Gaaras moments in this episode. And I always have to laugh at the scene where he jumps away, seemingly forgetting his sandvcontainer and Kankuro has to carry his gourd for him XD

Why so much hate on Sasuke in the comments lol ? He isn't as badass or has as much depth as his brother but he's still pretty cool. It's sick as fuck how he just barges into enemy territory of the Five Kages, I understand the Naruto series has it's flaws just like any anime but i mean the numbers don't lie, Sasuke is an interesting character to a lot of people.
Before this point in the series, Gaara was already one of my favorite characters from how we saw him grow from his initial appearance to the end of the first arc. This sequence cemented him as one of my favorite protaginists in the series with a simple sentence. "When did all of you...forsake yourselves?"
That line carries so much weight and every time I go rewatch the Five Kage Summit sequence of events, it still gives me chills.
Every time I watch Curtis it seems he still doesn't know what genjutsu means and that it's an illusion
There are more episodes about itachi that'd you'd enjoy. I'm not sure if they're filler or not, they're definitely worth the watch either way, I'm pretty sure everyone will agree with me on this

Captain Draconian was one of those characters that grew on me. At first I was like "meh he's not Kakashi" and then very quickly I was like "yo where's Yamato bring him back?"
I can't wait for you to see some of the future fights coming up. Glad you're getting to enjoy this all for the first time. There are some fillers coming so I might want to stay clear of those if I were you. They dampen the epicness of the anime overall.
Fun fact: The Raikage and Fourth Hokage battled many times in the last war. That tells you a lot about the Raikage's skill
I think what's powerful here is how Sasuke used to be so anti-kill oriented, as he stated to Suigetsu many times not to kill enemies, and has shown to regard human life. But at this point, he's so fueled by hatred that he's blinded by it, to the point of slaughtering these samurai without hesitation or reason. Such a sad path he had to follow..

I'm not a HUGE fan of the Raikage at this point, due to him often(at least right now) seeming to be as much of a warhawk as Danzo is.
