Hey, this is the same platform those console fanboys absolutely run rampant, are we surprised the most idiotic and unappealing of people make their home there?
Actman literally describes it perfectly "WE DONT LIKE THIS, CHANGE IT!!!" "Ok I'll edit that part out" "Wha.....what? Your not supposed to do that?!?!" These people are a actual laughing stock
i guess they expected him to self-flagellate, pluck out his eyeballs with his own fingers and offer his testicles to these people as a peace offering, and only then they MIGHT consider accepting his apology.
Calling Twitter toxic is an understatement. I could drink a gallon of toxic radioactive sludge and suffer fewer ill effects than I did for posting on Twitter that I oppose Burning, Looting, and Murdering.
Just wanna point out, Pewdiepie treated the deaf woman as any other woman while twitter treated her as a special case because of her disability. . . They don't actually care about the welfare of disabled people or how they're treated online, they just want to look good.
It's not that they want to look good. It's WAY more dark and twisted than that. They ACTUALLY hate her for being black and disabled because they are jealous of the perceived positive attention that she gets from it. This is the same reason they hate Pewdipie. He has more eyes on him than they do. Because of this they lash out and project their own hatred onto a comedian for doing nothing more than making a funny joke that the lady herself probably laughed at. They are vampirically sucking attention that their mommy never gave them from both pewdipie and this deaf chick.
“Social media gives legions of idiots the right to speak when they once only spoke at a bar after a glass of wine, without harming the community ... but now they have the same right to speak as a Nobel Prize winner. It's the invasion of the idiots” ― Umberto Eco, referring to Twitter in 2015
Oh well, you have people popping off with tweets like “dude do you every just have your dog lick your toe” bam 2M likes. Also plug in the comments. Craazy stuff
I mean tbh that sounds condescending as hell. I’ve met Nobel prize winners before (in science) and a lot of them are total jackasses. Not Tanaka though that guy is great.
gotta love how people on twitter talk so much about love and accepting people for who they are and then proceed to be specialist on hating and wishing death on people they don't like
Yeah there were two (of which I’m sure of many more) examples of people basically wishing death on him in Act’s video. Or telling him he should off himself. These people are scourge and don’t realize that just like the people on the opposite end of their beliefs who use words to divide us, they’re doing the exact same thing themselves. It’s so fucking pathetic.
The most astounding thing is that as they jump through these hoops to try and pin some message about racism, sexism, making fun of the disabled, etc, to him, the more it reveals about what THEY think of this woman. In trying to frame pewdiepie for racism they themselves have revealed how racist they are.
@@luminatron I'm not sure if this is what the person above is referring to but if it is I recommend watching Darkviperau's video of the harm that reaction content causes to the creators being reacted to

I remember being called a homophobe on Twitter because I was having a soccer debate with a supporter from another team who just happened to be gay because I responded to one of his tweets with the 🤮 emoji. A soccer debate. Nothing to do with sexuality.
Twitter users be like: "If he was truly sorry he would apologize" Also Twitter users: "Oh he apologized? He doesn't really mean it, continue to cancel him!"
This is the many reasons why I’m never, ever, under any circumstances making a Twitter account, not even a private Twitter account. Twitter is a cesspool of toxicity and people who are willing to cancel anyone based on hearsay and rumors, not actual proof and context. And it also brings out the dark side of people you’d never expect to see (including the famous), that can take a harsh toll on you. I’m a part of the disabled community (Autistic) and a half black woman, and have been a fan of Felix since 2014, he’s a good dude. I’ve had my fair share of prejudices for my autism in the past and it’s hurtful, however I also feel bad that he’s constantly being “canceled” from terminally online people for ridiculous reasons, and for reasons he already addressed and apologized for years prior; thus ruining his life and career and spreading misinformation about him, no wonder he deleted his Twitter account. I condemned and forgave him for the bridge incident in 2017. (The WSJ fiasco also in 2017 was BS btw, he’s innocent there). I’ve been through cognitive dissonance with the horrible people I once had in my life, it sucks. Good video, Kelly.
Honestly he'd have to actually go out and hurt someone or something IRL to get cancelled. Even then his death would be slow unless he did something to end up in prison, which would consequently stop him from uploading obviously.
"They don't check your race at the door when you go to the spa." If it wasn't for the mental Olympics of twitter drama, we never would've heard a quote this hilarious
@TECHNOBLADE IS BURNING IN H3LL Though this is a bot. The person behind it celebrated the Oxford Highschool incident. He had an old RUclips channel where he also said he hated Blacks and Asians for "ruining the UK." Have fun with him lol.
No wonder Felix left Twitter because of how much of a massive cesspool it truly is, and who could blame him? They always take something out of context and parading it around way too much. Straight up delusional and toxic platform, if you ask me!
Contempt should never have an expiration date, ruclips.net/video/4jdh7EQRgps/видео.html, he deserved all the backlash for this. It doesn’t matter if he apologized because this shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
@@SoyboyPeter So nobody is ever allowed to make a mistake, move past it and better themselves as a person? Hopefully you live by those words the next time you fuck up.

"PewDiePie is clearly mocking her voice and skin color because I find her voice and skin color something worthy of mocking" is such a bizarre way to defend someone.
The thing that kinda bugs me about it is how nobody seems to realize that you only normalize characteristics you can make fun, so even in the case that the mocking was at being deaf, by reacting and shutting people down over it that only further alienates regular people who mock themselves and others because its just what you do. (and obviously that does result in some people being jerks, but we already have the agreement that no man is an authority over comedy, even if you don't like the comedy, or especially even if you don't find it funny, you don't get to decide what is and isn't funny, not even time can figure that out)
@@LionelBercovich Exactly, it's about time this collective type of people on the west and east, to start using their heads for a change... Duuude exactly! They were saying things like he's racist cause black women have long nails and talk like that...like wtf you're racist for even saying that =)))
It doesn't matter if someone actually owes up to their mistakes and takes accountability for it because twitter users are still going to scream "HE GOT AWAY WITH IT!!!" as if pewdiepie didn't receive some of the most devisive, harsh consequences as a creator after the bridge incident. That shit DIDNT slide. Nobody ignored that. And yet, he still grew and moved on.
If he didn’t apologize at the time I would’ve understood but Pewdiepie admitted his mistakes, didn’t blame anything else but himself and said he will be better from there and he did so I really don’t understand why people are upset other than they want to find a reason to cancel him
I'm deeply concerned for the people who use twitter so religiously. Twitter is a place to indulge yourself in some hot fresh misinformation and people happily gobble it up and spread it even more. So with that in mind, I'm glad you're standing up against this. Yet again, The Act Man never fails to earn my respect. First you review the games I hold dear to my heart like RE4 and the good Call of duty games, now you review an entire mob of vultures and still come out swinging.
tbh i think twitter is potentially extremely dangerous. The way a lot of people twist situations, make assumptions about people's intentions, and get fired up about the smallest things is already really concerning but the echo chamber-like way it operates is a recipe for disaster

These people will always find a way to make EVERYTHING about race and/or disabilities a person may have. Even if none of those aspects are ever mentioned about that person. Because it's those exact people that care so much about race to the point of insanity.
It's because race/disability/etc are the only things they see when they look at a person. That is not natural human behavior, it is learned. Or in this case, brainwashed and then beaten into them through the social pressure of "woke" culture.
Pewdiepie has had "controversies" every year and yet, he never stopped creating. If the bridge incident didnt stop him, this wont. Also, that tweet about the whole "i like pancakes" "you hate waffles" thing is so accurate its scary
I've noticed this bizarre mindset infecting people even outside social media. My dad isn't on any social media, but he jumps to wild conclusions all the time based on the loosest of associations. Some examples (this turned out longer than I expected; I don't expect anyone to read it all but I feel it's important I share this for posterity, and because sometimes the most mundane everyday experiences can shed some light on valuable insights that only take a bit of reflection to encounter; read however much or little you want, it's here for anyone who does want to): 1. If we're playing a multiplayer game and he tries to give me an item, but I already have it, he'll get all butthurt and say he's not going to try to help anymore because "You never want my help anyway" (even though he successfully gave me something like 10 minutes before, and I've asked him for advice a few times in the last week, so that's untrue both in-game and IRL even in such a short timeframe). 2. I'm trying to explain something to him, he's not quite getting it and going way off track immediately, so I say "alright, here's a really basic example" to which he responds "So I'm stupid, huh? Yeah, I'm a fucking idiot." 3. He says something like "Did you know cherries and peaches are poisonous?"; I was fairly confident he was referring to the pits containing cyanide, while the fruits themselves are totally safe, but I looked it up just to be absolutely certain while I'm saying it. I told him the fruits are fine but the pits have cyanide (or at least compounds that turn into cyanide when metabolized) while the fruits are safe, and that other than the fruit, all parts of a cherry plant are toxic and/or inedible. Then he says something like "so you're saying I should stop eating fruit forever?" 4. He'll say something that's conditionally true under certain circumstances, but say it as if it's universally true under all circumstances, a sort of oversimplification. Such as, "Sp**ks and ni***rs are bad people, I grew up around their neighborhoods and saw all kinds of violence." I'll respond with something like, "it's more complicated than that; there are bad people in any and all arbitrary categories or subsets of people, and while certain environmental circumstances might lead to a correlation between that demographic and negative behavior in certain places, it's not because of their skin color or ethnicity, but the habits and behaviors they learned and absorbed like a sponge from those they grew up around, along with whatever societal pressure of dubious morality and/or social engineering agenda they may have fallen victim to." Then he'll say, I shit you not, something like "So you're saying I should go into the ghetto and let them rob and kill me?" 5. Last example, as this is getting pretty long, but it's too interesting as an individual case study of human behavior to me to stop now. He'll say something like, "The world is a fucked up place. Did you see on the news that a woman didn't want to deal with the responsibility of being a parent, so she strangled her kids and then "self-deleted" (using this wording to circumvent YT auto-censorship)? I'll say, "well yeah, there are messed up people out there which is indicative of a highly sick society. But I don't focus on that because all it does is bring me down, and there's nothing I can do about it; it's important to keep your focus on the parts of your life you *can* have an impact on and make positive changes there." He responds, "So you're selfish then." I remained stoic but in my mind I'm like "What the fuck is wrong with you dude? How is it remotely healthy or normal to put the whole world's burdens on your shoulders when you can't do anything about it? Should we all just be miserable slobs constantly vaccuuming up mainstream media fearmongering and doomer black-pill porn, leaving us to rot in total impotence, wasting our lives away? Should we throw our lives away meaninglessly trying to fix something that we are not meant or able to in the first place? What a waste; what a beyond-unhealthy perspective to have. Wow." Yes I'm doing something similar to what he does, but in irony and, instead of jumping to a wild conclusion that's only tangentially related, I'm taking what he said to its logical conclusion. Anyway, yes he's incredibly, unbelievably abrasive and frustrating to talk to about anything unless I let him monologue for hours (once he starts I can't stop him without interrupting and pissing him off) without balancing out his whacked out worldview. But the point of me typing this out is to show one specific example of how this kind of mindset has affected someone I know quite well, a real individual, and share how it makes me feel as someone who has deconditioned a sizable amount of mainstream culture's influence on my mind, at least enough to be skeptical and think critically about things which necessitate that for any semblance of sanity or mental/emotional stability. If you got to this point, please share some thoughts or any similar (or contrasting) experiences you may have had. I will see it in my notification feed and read through it. Psychology is one of my bigger curiosities so I'm more than glad to spend some time reading on it. Hope you are living well and that your loved ones are doing well. Much love and best wishes.
@@mikeexits That sounds incredibly frustrating. My dad is similar except with conspiracy theories. The wildest thing where I just had to laugh out loud (I usually just let him ramble with no response because he'll go on for hours) was when we were watching Man Of Steel for the first time and he said something about the reason Lois Lane has red hair is due to satanism. This is why I am a firm believer in the idea of being able to make fun of everyone as long as it’s not meant to be in mean spirit, if people take being made fun off like this in anyway out of context then damn comedy is truly screwed
True! I noticed that too. "Do better! Be a better person!" "I screwed up. I admit it. I'm truly sorry. I'll be a better person from now on." "DON'T EVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN! YOU'RE NOW IN EXILE FOREVER!" They tell you to "Do better", but then never give you a second chance. One small mistake and straight to the guillotine with you. And they'll be chanting "Do better" as they drop the blade on your neck. Fucking lunatics.
I said it on twitter (and I got my account mass reported for it with disclosure and no actions taken), and I'll say it again here: I'm glad Pewdiepie exists, because he's living his life to the fullest while keeping hundreds of thousands of pathetic snowflakes with parasocial enmity awake at night, malding on twitter and suffering in general solely because he's doing great, while he's completely unaware of their existence.
I like how a lot of Twitter drama is started because the people making these allegations HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO Do, they don"t add anything to the society they participate in. And the only fun they have or recognition they get, is when they make these absurd allegations, its honestly pretty sad.
They don't even get real recognition, like they get a bunch of likes and replies, and the funny part is that they get ratio when they don't block everything and everyone.
And it's even funnier when most of these people will make a big deal out of this small thing, but then play ignorant if their fave youtube turns out to be a child fiddler... Pretty funny how they'll make a big deal out of something when it's NOT their favorites
he literally said “i dont like her nails” and did a cute/funny voice that he always does for his dog and twitter went “OH SO YOU HATE BLACK DEAF PEOPLE??”
The funniest thing I noticed was that they actually started in-fighting. It's like they see the "black deaf female" then break that down too: "black", "deaf" and "female" and assign a subjective ranking of those properties based on which groups they themselves belong to. They even said: "He's not an able-ist, he's a racist!". It's so insane I can't do anything but laugh at it.
Respect to the black guy who said the statement that Twitter is the only place where well-articulated sentences still give a different meaning to some people, say you liked milk and others think you hate vegetables, like dude, where did that thing come from?
Our culture's obsession over canceling people comes from the perverted pleasure of hoping to see a successful person lose everything, and nothing to do with a genuine desire to correct some injustice or right any wrongs of society.
"Our culture's obsession over canceling people comes from the perverted pleasure of hoping to see a successful person lose everything." Thats what it mainly comes down to. Miserable dumb people who have nothing better to do with their sad lives but instead of doing something productive with their life for a change, they choose to waste their time on trying to bring successful people down to their level. Its a weird dynamic. This is why I stay away from social media. Its toxic to the mind and your overall mental health and happiness.
Instead of doing something worthwhile in their lives, they choose to sit on their asses all day and bring down others who have actually done shit in their lives. It's the most pathetic, disgusting shit ever.
Getting mad cuz someone doesn't understand the difference between waving your hands vs sign language is literally like getting mad for mistaking Chinese for japanese when you've never heard either of the languages before.
This is a great analogy for it actually! I guarantee 9 out of 10 keyboard warriors on twitter wouldnt know the difference between the two languages. Hell I dont speak either of them but I can identify the difference, mostly because Im a nerd but thats not the point. It pays to know common words, not to be inclusive but just to know more than someone else
@@jinxysaberk Buh...buh being angry over an honest mistake that doesnt really hurt anybody though! Its so much more fun or whatever the fuck people who submit to cancel culture think.
There's a reason fake sign-interpreters don't get caught until the deaf community literally has to phone it in. It all looks like gibberish, most people can't tell the difference.
Can I just say I love how you don't censor their names? These are the same people that would do it to everyone else so I'm glad people are finally waking up to that type of behavior and giving them a taste of their own medicine, and the best part is that no one can actually be like "oh x youtuber sent their fanbase" (try as they might) _because_ said behavior is common knowledge now. Screw these people man. 3 ways of Twitter bashing PewDiePie. 1. Jumping to conclusions on what he made fun of the girl for. 2. Comparing horrific events to the video. 3. Calling him racist while being racist themselves. Edit: I like pancakes
Racism to white/caucasian (I am unsure if there's a difference as I've heard them used interchangeably) is still racism Normalize it's existence the same way racism to people of Asian/African/other racial minority I can't think of has been
That's why you don't negotiate with people like these. Every time you apologise they will try to get an extra mile on your back instead of being consisten with their demands.
And you can't even just turn around and block them; because somehow blocking someone has become a sign of admitting defeat?? Not that the person you blocked was just an idiot or annoying.
Shit happened to me because I used "retard" in one of my fics (even though I told them English wasn't my first language,) like bruh, a character was being rude with another one, ain't gonna use 'dummy'
It's only a dilema if you follow idiot logic, normal person logic says that the one who was being an asshole is in the wrong, no matter race, sex or disability. Normal person logic includes understanding that context and intention also matter.
I reactivated my twitter to go and read the comments under Ricky's post. Someone said he was the "poster child of internalized ableism". Suffice it to say I immediately deactivated my account right after. I don't understand anyone who enjoys being on that site.

That one disabled guy just instigating shit on Twitter and being basically untouchable because the twitards would break their own rules to make fun of him is amazing. A true warrior.
I honestly had to step back and take a breather on the tweet that was made comparing Pewds to the Grand Wizard of the KKK; like jesus, twitter really is full of vultures who just say the dumbest shit .

From what i recall, he doesnt boast about it for credit or approval, he just does it and moves on. He really is just a good guy and it pains me to have these freaks on twitter that havent even come close to contribuiting to society as much as he has and still continues to do. Great to see @theactman defending pewds.
My knowledge of the "Pewds-verse" is limited, too. I didn't care for his content back in 2013 when I first watched YT, but I've started watching him out of respect and admiration for his dedication to his channel and his community for a year now. I've watched thru a bunch of his past and present conent, and he seems like a really humble guy. His closest friends also promote inclusivity (jacksepticeye and CinnamonToastKen) of all types, and doubt they'd wanna hurt their brands if he was misogynistic behind closed doors.
Ive been watching the guy on and off since March 2014. and I can assure you guy ALMOST NEVER mentions all of the good deeds he does, and even when he mentions them it is usually because he is doing some charity event that he wants people to support so it goes better and not because he wants to boast. Im not his fan, I have youtubers that i like way more. but to hate this guy is honestly sad, it takes an hour of watching him to see what a positive, well minded oerson he is, and he tries to improve himself every step of the way. he is not flawless by any means, but definitely more good than bad
Twitter is after all a sewage tank of creatures who couldn't afford to be decent people but would constantly put down any people they see as "problematic" to make themselves the good guys.
I'm pretty sure he still donates 100% of his RUclips membership earning to charities too. Dude has raised million(s) for charity as a single individual when corporations and governments sit back and watch the world burn, there are few people more worthy of my respect then Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg.

Also, hearing the girl respond by saying he should have skipped the video… fucking what? I hate that stupid argument so much when it comes to things like this. Mainly because he could say THE SAME SHIT! Honestly! Like damn, why not skip his video too if that’s the case? These types of people are like the lowest tier of intelligence within our society.

The fact that younger generations are more accepting of this constant fear of someone getting offended about what you say and you could lose everything about it scares me
Seriously, whenever I feel like I'm "walking on eggshells," it makes wanna start stomping and say "go fuck yourself." I've always had a rebel in me though. I've noticed most young people just like to conform. Even the so-called "anti-conformity" ones. They just conform to different standards to feel special. Most "counter-culture" these days is prepackaged bullshit you find at Hot Topic or vapid political rallies enlisting idiots off the street. Punk is Dead.
@Paul Martin if he has to "censor himself," he's not making punk rock anymore. Punk rock SHOULD offend. That was the point. Many bands in the past intentionally got "cancelled." (Banned) Nowadays, "punk rock" is just drinking and doing drugs on weekends with the proper fashion. It's kiddie shit that was offensive to your grandma. Punk rock lost its bite. It's pathetic. The only real punkers left are ostracized by the scene... And I say good. That's how you know they're real.
How many people like me who will intentionally try to trigger people and be offensive because of these people Edit sorry about the grammar I'm to lazy to fix it
The great thing is people are angry at pewdiepe for not doing his "research" for a damn 30 sec clip, while the deaf girl even doing worse by talking none-sense in her response 😅
My grandmother is deaf, so I learned rudimentary sign-language(ABC’s, counting, greetings, etc.) But that doesn’t mean I can recognize that someone is using sign language, so how do people expect a man who knows *no* sign language to recognize that?
Dont get how people think that certain people have "diplomatic immunity" from getting made fun of such trivial things such as having Long nails just because they are disabled, LGBT, their gender, race etc. It's completly irrelevant to what they are being made fun of
Yeah, I make fun of my straight white male friends and my straight white female friends, we all make fun of each other. This Twitter group says they want everyone to be treated equally. But if I make fun of one of their "special" groups, I'm suddenly an awful person who needs to die. Like, excuse me, but who's the one here saying that a deaf black woman is different from a white man? I'm the one treating both exactly the same, but the Twitter crowd is the one saying there's a difference and that I need to treat both groups differently. So who's really the ableist, sexist, racist, homophobic, misogynistic, etc person here? Me:the one who treats absolutely everyone the same? Or the Twitter crowd: the one who draws a line and says people need to stay in their lanes and in their groups and treat other groups differently
@@just_delta-2589 exactly, surely it is more racist/ablist/homophobic/sexist to assume that someone is discriminating against a certain group just because the person being made fun of is part of that group of people, that just shows that the accuser only sees people for their race/disabilities/gender/sexuality and not how they act or how they actually are as a person
I'm a bisexual autistic black man with a lisp, if someone doesn't make fun of me for one of those four things, it just makes me think they're not a fun person to be around. I can understand genuinely harmful statements, but if they're just poking fun, it lets me know that I'm not being treated like a toddler. Honestly, screw people who think making jokes about race, gender, whatever, is unacceptable.
In fact, it is quite racist if you think about it. People thinking deaf black women are so inferior and weak that they need to be protected from jokes that have nothing to do with their disability/gender/race.
As a person with a disability, this seriously makes me facepalm hard. This is ultimately embarrassing. It would've been one thing if scarlet may just took PewDiePie's word when he said he didn't know and moved on but no, she continued to paint him as a bad person and expects him to take accountability when that was exactly what he did. Like what the hell did you want him to do? Did you want him to keep the clip up? I am so happy I left Twitter. Everyone there will just cherry pick any harmless thing they say and manipulate it in an evil narrative. To me I think scarlet was being sensitive, pretty ungrateful and pretty unfair. Getting the wrong idea about something is one thing, sticking to that wrong idea after being corrected is a whole another form of stupidity.
Thing is, twitter users HATE being wrong and rather than accepting that they’re wrong, they just double down. There’s also the fact that pewds has had a lot of controversy from twitter and being the website of information and assumptions it is, people immediately think the worst of people in there. It also gives them a justification of cyberbullying under the pretense of “oh he’s problematic so I’m going to bring shit up from ten years ago, just bringing a w a r n e s s pls stop supporting him” There’s no point in bringing up stuff that he’s already taken accountability for imo.
@@threecheesedip and I'm going to tell you that you missed the point. Whether or not opinions are shared isn't what was being talked about, but if someone else who has a disability (I have aspergers myself) and can understand what Felix was doing, and could be bothered to *actually* look into this, there is no reason no one else can. "They tend to lack the capacity to think of others-" Yeah nah, rather it's an expectation to be a mature adult and not get so bent outta shape over literally nothing. I would wager having a disability like this lady did would help with emphasizing with someone but I guess you just conveniently leaved that part out of your comment.
Its ironic how anti racists become the racists with fundamentalism, bandwagons and killjoy fueling their viewpoints. Sometimes i wonder if they belivie their own lies. Maybe someone will call me racist for being "too equal" but i didnt notice any skin difference between her and Pewdiepie so if anyone needs to do their research its the sheeple looking for a reason to hate him. If anything he is a sexist (if you really wanna force it beyond reason.) Im not saying that it would be correct to be racist or that he is a sexist. My point is they being so obsessed with being "correct" coulnt even be bothered themselves to hate him for the "correct" crime.
At this point I think he should stop going their way. Like here instead of removing the segment he should've just put a post up on twitter saying basically "I wasn't making fun of her for being deaf, stay mad hoes." He's tried for years to go their way yet it never stopped them, and it's never enough. These people aren't going on about any kind of morale crusade, they're just trying to control people, that's it.
For real, he been in so much controversies that he's practically immune to it at this point. What twitter does is basically give him a Streisand effect of attention.
From one PewDiePie mistake we got: confederate flags, Nazism, death threats, racial slurs, kkk references, cross burning, cultist accusations.....and..... I feel like there's more but I can't remember. Just another wonderful day in the world.
No you don’t get it they have this repertory of answers they give to any situation just to turn it on their favor. In this case it would be either a condescending tone towards trying to be funny or call you racist as it is straight up lmfao.
"What else do you want him to do?" I think we all know what they want. They aren't content with someone losing their livelihood, respect, and following. It shouldn't surprise us that these vultures are actually looking for a corpse.
My coworkers said that him leaving a pinned comment and removing the segment isn't enough, and eluded to him needing to make an apology video addressing the whole thing. I suck at standing up for my opinions, but I did briefly say that he's "retired" online, basically. He's just trying to do his own thing in his corner of the internet. He's not wanting to prolong drama over and over like before
@@dennis_s god people really need to start to take breaks from the internet. He fixed it the way he could making a whole "apology video" would be so unnecessary and there would still be people who would think it was insincere and not enough. I also don't understand how making an "apology video" makes it any better? Most of them are just clickbaits anyway and calls for more drama.
@@kinsta2949 actually it would be hilarious if he did make a response video filled with just enough fluff to get more ads then end the video, also a clickbaiting the hell out of it would also be great.but I get he doesn't want to stroke the twitter flames it'd just be funny if he did
The concept of "making fun of someone who is [attribute] versus making fun of them _because_ they are [attribute] are totally separate things" is one people seem hell-bent on not understanding.
The hate for pewdiepie always baffled me, I get he was annoying but why do they attach to him all that political sh*t? As far as I know he never talked about politics, he's as neutral and as apolitical as you could get. Also, as a European I can say that he seem the typical guy that votes for the SocialDemocrats, and this makes the hate even more surreal.
@@souljastation5463 To be fair, he did have the Fiverr controversy and he did blurt out a certain racial slur in one of his videos , but at the very least he acknowledged that what he did there was too far and just wrong. But this? This is just pedantic beyond belief
@@onemoreminute0543 for the bad word I blame rap music, we Europeans grew up listening rap music and for the longest time we had no idea that "white" people couldn't say it. Sure, we knew it was a racial slur, what we didn't know though is that you can't say it in any context whatsoever, even if you don't mean to use it as a racial slur, like they do in rap music.
I think the reason that a lot of completely braindead tweets get way more likes than they should, is because the people who share these god awful opinions are actively looking for people who agree with them. As easy as it might be to lose your faith in humanity everytime you see a horrible tweet get 100,000 likes, it's important to remember that most of the people who liked it were looking for that exact tweet to validate their abysmal opinions.
Yep, they're quick to call everyone they disagree with incels, but they sit around all day browsing Reddit and Twitter for things to get offended by like it's their job.
This applies to other media like tik tok as well I have seen the most cancerous aid emitting shit I have ever seen in my life with people that have the most mentally disabled opinions but yet by some miracle they somehow get like a thousand likes or god forbid a million
And it doesn't help that media giants like Twitter and Meta actively target these groups with exactly the kind of content they want to see which helps keep their minds more closed and generate more traction and activity on said platform, which in turn generates profit! I believe Facebook got into some legal heat a few years ago when it was leaked that their algorithm would profile groups such as pseudo science and actively target them with related media while preventing them from seeing content that they would disagree with!
I’m on the spectrum. When I was little, I was nonverbal and did not socialize at all, so essentially I was disabled. According to doctors and many other people in my life, I’ve come very far to be here. That being said, I had an argument with someone on Twitter, and this originated from somewhere political wise (can’t remember why). I was questioned whether I actually have autism, the person I was arguing with accused me of faking it. This man claimed himself that he was autistic without being formally diagnosed. He attempted to get diagnosed, but was not diagnosed with autism and I think he was just diagnosed with ADD or ADHD (I have ADHD too). I have been formally diagnosed and was given therapy and medication. Moral of the story: people are retarded
It’s simple why they constantly go after him: he’s the biggest content creator on the platform and everyone with the IQ of a pencil is clamoring to find the next bridge incident to cancel him over. After all, it would be the best sense of pride (in a pretty sick way) to say you helped take down a large influencer even if their good deeds outweigh their mistakes…
PewDiePie has fucked up a few times and I get why people stopped watching him for some of that. The problem with some of those people is they attempt to spread their belief of not watching him to everyone. The problem with the deaf woman is you can clearly see he had no idea it was sign language.
Shesh, the Girl's response and lack of a bit of research is ridiculous. Like woman, you're deaf, not BLIND! I swear, even the suppoused "victims" are dumb these days.
Preach it Act Man, people need to stop taking stuff out of context and get the full story before making assumptions. Also best advice to Twitter users, delete it, that will save you a lot of trouble and there are better social media platforms out there
Also no one knew she was deaf, not until someone had to point it out? Thats funny, so if he was making fun of deaf people (which is something even known not-so-good people don't think about or do, its not even an interesting thing to make fun of, not a single adult I know does that), why didn't he say "she deaf haha", I was watching the video bruv, I thought she just left a dental clinic and thats why she sounded a bit off, thats all.
@@furnoprime9439 I suppose there was also a time when he got sponsored by new World game and did a review calling it awesome. Alot of people started question his integrity and shit In the end he deleted the vid
My rule of thumb to deal with the kind cancelling pewdiepie: - Try to give them no attention - (optional) make fun of them and proceed to ignore logic does not work with them, better avoid all contact as much as possible
Honestly, from what he said "I'm sorry, I'm not listening to this anymore" and what he had the dog 'say', it was quite clear to me that he was reacting to the clicking of the nails. And I can relate to that, simply because the sound of fingernails clicking/scratching against jeans/etc makes me tense the fuck up and wince non-stop. I literally could not watch more than what's shown in this clip because of that. Was it possibly a little tactless of Felix to include it in the video since the girl wasn't technically doing anything wrong? Maybe. But to act like Pewdiepie outright attacked or trashed the person is objectively false. Lol, "Pewdiepie is 30, there's no way he doesn't know what sign language is" We just gonna ignore that person that faked their credentials to be a ASL interpreter? Obviously there's a ton of people out there that can't recognise ASL.
I took ASL in high school. I'm not great at it but, I wasn't completely inept with it and I can still read some signs, though I'm rusty on my ASL. I guarantee you that whatever that woman was doing in the original video would probably send my ASL teacher (who was deaf, though not born deaf) and the assistant teacher in the class both up the damn wall. The nails alone are distracting because of how large they are and with the way ASL works, most people who sign don't have long nails because it interferes with signing. It's too visually distracting and it sort of messes with the words in ASL (think of it being like a bad lisp or something of the such). That said, I don't have too much a leg to stand on in terms of my capability to sign in ASL but, having to learn from a teacher who wasn't born deaf but became deaf and an interpreter who was also qualified as a teacher (though acted as an assistant in that class) really helps because you have 2 people who both understand the learning curve on signing.
I watched a video bout Opti showing the clip and it clicked in a bit for me to realize that he does that voice for his dog whenever he wants to give her a voice so yeah- That what he's done pretty much ngl
What made me not think she was using sign language is because she also speaks. To people who don't have deaf or mute friends, it does take a while to realize when someone is deaf/mute. I once had a deaf cafe worker where I worked and the first time I interacted with him, it took me around 10 seconds to realize he is signalling that he is deaf. And that's him pointing to his ears, and waving a 'no' motion. Not even using ASL which I would've been even more clueless about.
Swede who lived in the UK doesn't recognise American Sign Language and people are for some reason surprised? Idk dude, this is some npc type shenanigans
As a disabled person myself, I think I speak for most disabled people when I say we can think for ourselves and defend ourselves, you're simply being patronizing and demeaning when you try to defend the disabled community and push actual disabled people aside and say shit like "don't worry, I'll defend you because youre disabled, you couldn't possibly look after yourself!".
It's only internet brownie points they're after. It's not like they care about anybody other than themselves. They just use the platform to feel good about their sad lives even though in reality you'd never see them walk an old person across the road or at least throw trash in the proper place.
The real ablest people are ones trying speak for and control folks with disabilities constantly cause it gives internet clout and makes them look progressive ..more like regressive
The thing about Twitter and other social media platforms that blows my mind is that when someone does something controversial or just bad, even if that person has the capacity to change for the better and is showing that they are changing their ways, to Twitter it doesn't matter. They just straight up decide who has the capacity to change or not without even a second thought. This exact reason is why I only have a Twitter account that I never use so no impersonation can take place, even though I'm not a public figure whatsoever...
By this point, twitter would literally cancel a sperm cell for reaching an egg first and say "that sperm is stealing it's siblings' rights to be born."
They've already tried to cancel a teenager over something their father said over 10 years before their birth so that's not as far of a leap as you make it out to be.
9:05 That Mike guy revealed in his second tweet that he still holds Pewdiepie's previous negative actions against him, and that he believes Felix is a bad individual who can't overcome his past shortcomings. He revealed that he viewed Pewdiepie negatively before this scenario and likely formed his interpretation of this scenario based on the negative image of Felix he'd already created in his head. This is peak twitter.
Over the last decade I have seen FAR MORE racism and sexism come from people who claim to be anti-racist and anti-sexist than I have from "traditional" racists and sexists.
This reminds me of how my handicap friend always makes fun of me for having a weak upper body (he's in a wheelchair and jacked) so I counter with saying his shoes are useless
Felix is one of the most genuine and kind people on the internet; plus he's really entertaining and charming. He taught me so much across the years I watched him. I got into philosophy and reading because of him. He is an inspiration and a wonderful person that I will forever be grateful for. It baffles me how much hate he gets and how many people claim he ruined a generation...
Have you ever met or spoke to him? Seems like you have a weird, unhealthy parasocial relationship with him... in reality you probably know nothing about who he really is, just the online persona "Pewdiepie" and theres a MASSIVE difference
My favourite tweet was "he is not making fun of her for being deaf. He is mocking the fact that she is speaking like a black person." WTF?!?! 😂🤣 That one had me dying
If I had a nickel for every time a big RUclipsr cancellation involved a pug, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
I love these videos! Favorite RUclipsr hands down. Glad to be subscribed to a smart, free thinker, non-sheep RUclips content creator not afraid of talking about all the bullshit happening in our culture and standing up for what’s right/factual and just plain common sense. Stay safe man, this world is brutal.
You literally hate all Mexican culture now, omg. Also all of South America. Actually scratch that, all people. You know what? You also hate me, and yourself, and my mom, and your mom. And Joe.
“Is he making fun of a deaf person? YES. Is he making fun of her for being deaf? NO. There’s a big difference.” Literally perfect and exactly what I was thinking. Next time someone makes fun of you, just cry and say they’re making fun of someone with x disability or someone part of x marginalized group. “Shut up I’m not stupid, you’re just saying that because I wear glasses!”
I think that the people who were genuinely outraged at Pewds for being ableist on that one are actually ableist themselves, and are projecting onto him. Like no shot people could watch that clip and make a good-faith conclusion that he was ableist. Worst thing you could accuse him of is him mocking a woman's voice IF you do not know that's the voice he does for his dog, rather than a woman. And if you were to actually listen to what he says and does while doing that voice it would be obvious that of course he is story-telling from the perspective of his dog. I understand that some people may find this clip unfunny, and maybe some people might even find it uncomfortable. But let's call a spade a spade, he was annoyed at the nails she had while she happened to do sign language. He did not make fun of sign language. I think that people saw the clip of him using his DOG to do gestures with her paws, and some people thought he was making fun of sign language that way, and that's a perfectly valid criticism, that was a bad piece of story telling. But he literally did not know, and once he found out, he removed the clip.
Exactly! I've just decided to tell my friends ahead of time whenever I say something stupid that if they question it, they're discriminating against an autistic person and are therefore hateful bigots. Then they go ahead and question it anyway because they aren't fucking idiots.
My favorite part of this whole thing is her reaction video. Pewds did literally everything she said he should have done, only proving that she didn't even watch the video or know what he said/did. She was either relying on second hand info or just chose not to look up what happened, then spouted off a list of things he "should" have done. Not knowing he already did. So these people are out here saying Pewds should have done his research, when none of them, not even the "victim", did their own research. Fuckin' fantastic.
What are you talking about? No seriously, have you actually any awareness? From her perspective, what she saw was a guy, who didn't bother to watch her video for more than 5 seconds, used his dog to mock her and used an exxagerated voice( which is second-hand info as she is deaf), which was again to mock her. He put her also in her thumbnail, despite this being like what 10 seconds and his first reaction was to only take out the audio, rather than the portion of said video. To add further fuel to the fire, his non-apology was him stating that he should have known she was deaf, rather than him regretting making fun of her, or how he might come across as someone who actually mocked her for her voice.
@@dimitriosdrossidis9633 1) He uses that voice for his dog in all content, and has done for years. To say he was using the voice to mock her is to jump to conclusions. 2) He put content from the video in the thumbnail. Are you really complaining about the length of time he has to cover something before he can put it in the thumbnail? 3) Non-apology? What should he have done then? He deleted that part of the video, put out a statement and said he'd do better in the future. That's LITERALLY the perfect apology. Seriously, what is with you people and demanding people own up to their mistakes, then not being satisfied when they do? All it shows is that you want something to be angry at, rather than actually caring.
@@CuppaGi like my mom says now a days all people want is something to get pissed about and hate on someone. apologies very rarely seem to be accepted. he said the n word hard r 5 years ago or so and some make him out to be basically like hitler. people still hold shit against actman from stuff he said years ago and had made an apology for. what's sad is people go after celebs harder than garbage politicians it seems. and those assholes ruining what ever country they run are far worse. this issue is the issue isn't always out in the open like it is with celebs

I'm half deaf (my right ear doesn't function AT ALL) since I was a little kid, and a lot of times it's really hard to tell what people said so I had to ask them over and over again. Some people are frustrated, they asked "Are you fucking deaf or what?" And I explain to them, calmly, so that they understand my situation, and move on. Sometimes you don't need to overreact because of a misunderstanding to connect with people. And there's this girl trying to get attention. LOL!

Wasnt even a mistake in this case. He made fun of her nails. That doesnt really correlate at all to her being deaf.
what mistake
It’s not even ruin, cancellation is an attempt of murder. People who want to dance you want to see you lose everything and slowly die
The thing that kinda bugs me about it is how nobody seems to realize that you only normalize characteristics you can make fun, so even in the case that the mocking was at being deaf, by reacting and shutting people down over it that only further alienates regular people who mock themselves and others because its just what you do. These people will always find a way to make EVERYTHING about race and/or disabilities a person may have. Even if none of those aspects are ever mentioned about that person. Because it's those exact people that care so much about race to the point of insanity.
They are tokenism
It's because race/disability/etc are the only things they see when they look at a person. That is not natural human behavior, it is learned. Or in this case, brainwashed and then beaten into them through the social pressure of "woke" culture.
It's Tumblr 2.0 basically
Guess what?
Its getting worse.

Pewdiepie has had "controversies" every year and yet, he never stopped creating. If the bridge incident didnt stop him, this wont. Also, that tweet about the whole "i like pancakes" "you hate waffles" thing is so accurate its scary
It's also really sad that the "i like pancakes" "you hate waffles" tweet is from 2017 and it's only gotten worse and worse since then.
I've noticed this bizarre mindset infecting people even outside social media. My dad isn't on any social media, but he jumps to wild conclusions all the time based on the loosest of associations. Some examples (this turned out longer than I expected; I don't expect anyone to read it all but I feel it's important I share this for posterity, and because sometimes the most mundane everyday experiences can shed some light on valuable insights that only take a bit of reflection to encounter; read however much or little you want, it's here for anyone who does want to):
Yeah, I'm a fucking idiot."
3. Then he says something like "so you're saying I should stop eating fruit forever?"
4. He'll say something that's conditionally true under certain circumstances, but say it as if it's universally true under all circumstances, a sort of oversimplification. Such as, "Sp**ks and ni***rs are bad people, I grew up around their neighborhoods and saw all kinds of violence." I'll respond with something like, "it's more complicated than that; there are bad people in any and all arbitrary categories or subsets of people, and while certain environmental circumstances might lead to a correlation between that demographic and negative behavior in certain places, it's not because of their skin color or ethnicity, but the habits and behaviors they learned and absorbed like a sponge from those they grew up around, along with whatever societal pressure of dubious morality and/or social engineering agenda they may have fallen victim to." Then he'll say, I shit you not, something like "So you're saying I should go into the ghetto and let them rob and kill me?"

Only thing good thing Abt this is that it's a free block list
This applies to other media like tik tok as well I have seen the most cancerous aid emitting shit I have ever seen in my life with people that have the most mentally disabled opinions but yet by some miracle they somehow get like a thousand likes or god forbid a million
Also there's a ton of bots on Twitter and most Twitter users use bots
And it doesn't help that media giants like Twitter and Meta actively target these groups with exactly the kind of content they want to see which helps keep their minds more closed and generate more traction and activity on said platform, which in turn generates profit! I believe Facebook got into some legal heat a few years ago when it was leaked that their algorithm would profile groups such as pseudo science and actively target them with related media while preventing them from seeing content that they would disagree with!
Remember, apologizing on the internet is seen as nothing but proof of guilt. Do not apologize to these people
Exactly it just shows you’re weak (idk if that made any sense lol)

@@Raya-ir4tm But if they are adults, it's too late for them already
Lol, "Pewdiepie is 30, there's no way he doesn't know what sign language is"
We just gonna ignore that person that faked their credentials to be a ASL interpreter? Obviously there's a ton of people out there that can't recognise ASL.
Honestly, the nails were so distracting they were all I could pay attention to. It really just looked like she was waving them around.

The thing about Twitter and other social media platforms that blows my mind is that when someone does something controversial or just bad, even if that person has the capacity to change for the better and is showing that they are changing their ways, to Twitter it doesn't matter. 9:05 That Mike guy revealed in his second tweet that he still holds Pewdiepie's previous negative actions against him, and that he believes Felix is a bad individual who can't overcome his past shortcomings. The Irony of those calling him racist constantly using "white" in their sentence as if that matters at all.

@@dimitriosdrossidis9633
1) He uses that voice for his dog in all content, and has done for years. To say he was using the voice to mock her is to jump to conclusions.
