What I really like about this version of singed he always has the detached manner. He takes an information he gives advice, but he's never forced anybody to do anything. Even when warning Victor about the consequences, he doesn't disregard Victor's hope merely giving a "perhaps"
I feel like there's an implied "probably not" behind that perhaps. And you see in the very next scene Jayce berating Viktor for going to the undercity for help, forgetting that Viktor himself is from the undercity. Not very understanding of him
It is interesting how Singed seems to solely work on Shimmer as medication, as a way to overcome death itself. Silco uses it as a weapon and Singed probably could not care less about that and only works with him because of the subjects provided. And looking at Jinx, while her mind obviously took a major hit, her body recovered fully, so he is making progress.

I don't think he's a good fit for a main antagonist, he's an academic, too far removed from the day to day goings on, same reason Heimerdinger wouldn't make a good protagonist. I don't think Singed would care whether there's a war or not, whether Zaun is free or not, so long as he can continue his work. He has after all sacrificed everything for it. He's so well suited for this advisor role, and I think he will stay there. Like with Heimerdinger seeing the undercity and hinting at an arc there, I expect we might see something similar for Singed, probably the two coming into (verbal) conflict again, but with him maintaining an advisory role and a monster-maker. Of all the examples I can think of in fiction, Despicable Me is the first one, Singed would be better in the role of Dr. Nefario, not Gru.
Since the process of "healing" is rather grotesque, as we saw; Silco would very much likely intervene to stop Jinx from suffering. Also, having lost a daughter himself, SInged knows how it feels.

He reminds of Mido from "Code Vein", except he seems more emotionally distant. He doesn't seek to control everybody like Mido does in his plans for progress. Whatever happens during the evolutionary proccess, it happens, as long as it's not stoped. That's why I respect him more than Mido. Of course I would want to come out on top, but not like a leader. It would limit the potential of evolution.
Another thing is that Singed, while his experiments can be twisted, does not gets any sort of pleasure out of them. He doesn't go out of his way to make people suffer, and if they do, he doesn't feel any positive or negative emotions about it. It's just another part of the process. Mido, meanwhile, while certainly correct about Revenants and humanity needing to evolve to combat the threat of the Aragami, is a sadistic bastard who enjoys the suffering his science inflicts. We see this in Emily and Yakumo's memory echoes, as well as with Cruz. If Mido hadn't done such torturous experiments on her, she never would have frenzied, and the Queen would never have been born.

In my mind, I created a character arc for my protagonist (her emotional and psychological state represented through her clothes) in which she feels it's her responsibility to act like a judge of sorts for the entire species. So, it's kinda funny that you mention that, because there's a theory going around from within the league lore community that he's actually a character by the name of Corin Reveck, which would have massive implications for another character in League of Legends, and would also mean that a character that has seemingly existed only in name as an individual in the background to someone else's story (a champion (playable character) that came out way after League's launch) has been themselves a champion staring us right in the face since before League of Legends even came out of beta testing. Speaking of "Code Vein"...a few comments had me regret having saved Eva. Her power seemed to mean the end of the Revenants. And Mido himself said, the Revenants have the power to consume both the world and themselves. It's already bad enough the moral sacrifices they would have to perform for their civilization. But of admiration for her singing, I was compassionate, since it seemed symbolic to me. As in, in the middle of the ruin, there can be survivors filled with beauty. But I still have that tiny doubt of "What if...?".
Not yet confirmed, but there is a high chance. There are quite a few hints that foreshadow it being the truth, such as Vander being referred to as a hound and a dog, but some are deeper than just that. Warwick's rework, and the cornucopia of new lore that came with it, came out about two to three years into Arcane's production, around the time the Arcane crew solidly charted out the plot of the first season, and LoL in turn stopped some of the last of their infuriating retcons and plot changes, and instead finally settled on a singular narrative for good. In-game, Warwick utters some pretty keen taunts when interacting with both Vi and Jinx despite his new backstory not containing them anywhere in it. When procced to do so in either one of their presences, he says things like, "The fear in your eyes, I've seen it before," and "Who taught you how to punch?" to Vi (the former possibly in reference to the night everything went to hell, and the latter possibly in reference to how melee fist-fighter Vander inspired Vi's fighting style), and "You were there..." and "Let me forget..." to Jinx (possibly in reference to the night her monkey bomb exploded, sealing his, Mylo, and Claggor's fates). J.B. Blanc voiced Vander in Arcane, while in League, Warick's VA is uncredited, and is almost impossible to compare to many notable VAs who could have voiced him due to the effects put into the voice itself. However, in Arcane, as Vander was in his Shimmer-mutated form, he not only makes growling and roaring noises of eerily similar bestial qualities to Warwick, but as he bellows out "Silco!" to a retreating Silco, his voice noticeably sounds a lot like Warwick. In one of Arcane's final first season episode's final scenes, we see a body hanging above Singed's head as he looks to the locket in his hands. We don't get a definitive view of the body, but as it's hanging in a position similar to LoL artwork depicting Singed's experimentation on the man who would become Warwick, and has a roughly similar (albeit, ill-defined) appearance to Vander, many comparisons have been made. Finally, the teaser they released for Arcane season 2 has LoL Warwick's 'chase' theme playing in the background as it concludes. All this being said, while LoL and Arcane are confirmed to diverge into two separate canons, they are really influencing one another constantly. For all we know, if it is indeed Vander in the Arcane canon, he'll remain possessing his name. Or maybe he won't. We won't know for sure until the next season!

@@DT-267K brooo, love your comment, totally missed how Vander sounds like Warwick after shimmer
@@DT-267K it's all but confirmed
Imagine if it turns out that mutated thing used to be his daughter.
god i wish singed would get an upgraded look in game
I love Brett Tucker so much
I love singed so much he is so honorable and royal
Did anyone else try to convince themselves that Silco's assistant somehow wasn't Singed?
Subtitle Enjoyer: No
@@Circurose the normal subtitles didn't show this. The audiosynch on the other side( the thing that was made so blind people can experience the pictures shown rather than just what is happening) called him singed
I immediately thought he was Singed, since he resembles that guy.
Singed as Caitlyn is the most horrifying image in the show.
OMG 6.58!
Is that Vander hanging up as one of singed's experiments slightly off screen?
What is the #1 rule of League that somehow, absolutely everyone knows ?
Don't know and don't care
Never play Yasuo in SoloQ
DON'T CHASE SINGED
If you wanna have fun deinstall the game
Fun is illegal.
0:00 rat eats cat scene
1:29 "you built this?"
what did you use to remove all the music?
To shake, or not to shake
I really hope they make a TRPG or CRPG out of arcane or LoL.
6:58 this is Vander
This is a hint that Vander will be turned into Warwick season 2.
it's funny how people think it's silco because this part is most likely happening right as jinx shot the rocket did singed run in and was like "mine mine mine mine mine NEW SUBJECT" and booked it out of there with silco XD
@@KingSpades that would’ve been a funny scene ngl
Stop speculating.
did singed experiment with his daughter to create oriana? is that why he was kick out by heimerdinger?
El siiiiinsh weeeee
Urgot, Warwick is product by Singed?
singed
What episode is the scene where Viktor says everything rots
If you mean the line "The subjects whither and rot." then that scene is from the episode "The Boy Savior".
HOW ABOUT A DRINK
we need a singed rework on LOL
hell nah, singed main here. nothings more fun then sprinting through a 5 man team, flipping the adc, then running out at 1000ms
@@jeffpenner7083 just visually then
@@focuslegendlight1025 I can agree to that
NEVER. He was the first champion ever designed. It's tradition.
I would cry if they rework singed , i mean it could be improved and could still feel similar but this is singed , basic asf but you must be crazy as him (not rly mad scientist, but doing crazy strats in league context)to execute him to the full
I cant even explain how rewarding it is to make chaos to your laner with 30 paragraphs for abilities with your shitty basic almost 15 yrs old champ , singed for life
His assistant is supposed to be Warwick, not Viktor.
Warwick`s his favorite test subject.
Bro that was singeds original story from when he first came out. They reconned that story fucking years ago
Fantasy version of Jeffrey Dahmer
Absolutely not, Jeffrey Dahmer killed because the pleasure he got by doing it. Singed is totally detached from reality he thinks on goals, he's the very definition of a mad scientist.
More like a mad doctor from history, like Mengele.
