russ abbot gets a lot of stick for doing this show personally i thought he was really good at presenting the show better than harry hill spoof of the show

That's right but with the 1995-1997 opening titles in place of the 1990-1993 original opening titles of Stars in Their Eyes.

Because Leslie was in hospital at the time this Stars in Their Eyes Elvis Special was recorded after he was seriously injured in a car accident that nearly claimed his life.

It is great to see the Stars in Their Eyes 'Elvis' Special Tom you have done an awesome job at remastering the sound and picture quality well done.
It was nice of stand-in host Russ Abbott to wish Leslie Crowther a good recovery when this first went out as Leslie was in hospital following his car accident at the time this was recorded.
