24 years later, I remember this guy as the best Freddie Mercury impressionist I've ever seen on tv. And there have been many. For a little guy to imply the might and charisma was astonishing. I hope he's had a career performing and singing over the last 2 decades.

I also watched this as a kid, and it is one of a handful of moments that literally shaped my life (to the point where I've actually been to a Queen concert).
It does but it also feels/looks so so dated doesn't it? Which of course it should, but just remembering watching SITE on a Saturday night with my family, the times were so different. Actually sitting in front a TV together instead of Netflix or being distracted by a mobile phone, ad breaks to make a brew, it felt like Saturdays were 48 hours not 24

I saw him perform in Dingwall in the Scottish Highlands not long after he won Stars in their Eyes, then a good few years later in Inverness with his band. He put on a fantastic show both times.😊

He’s got a good voice, wouldn’t say he’s exactly like Freddie though.
