When you guys were asking what can I do to better serve you, you both sound like my husband and I 😂❤️ We are truly blessed to intentionally work on our marriage day in and day out. Communicate daily, and when we ask this question we are like, “are you kidding me? You are doing a great job” lol We are teammates and that’s the most beautiful thing, God is so good to us.

We only really do nerdy educational stuff on sick days as far as watching, but we love old pbs specials and Tales From Green Valley which goes through life on a 12th century British farm. Our kids love it and we use it as a jumping off point for all sorts of projects and recipes and ideas! Now when we go to the creek, my little girls pretend to be doing their laundry on the rocks like they used to do. Very fun and wholesome show!

I love your podcast! I have to say, from one Christ follower to another, I hope you are aware that Mormonism is a cult. They don’t believe in One God, but in three different gods (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), they believe in polygamy and so much more that does not align with the Holy Bible. I encourage you to read more up on them. The Gospel Coalition website has a whole article about Mormons and what they believe.

I'm not mormon but I love mormons! The book of mormon states contention is from the devil, so they (mostly) will not dispute or argue disagreements. They are definitely organized and who am I to judge another servant. I love them...I pray. They just want to serve God. And funny....the Jewish people viewed the new testament followers exactly how we view mormons. God's sense of humor, I guess....let's all do good!
I'm sorry if you've had bad experiences with Mormons. I have had great spiritual conversations with some of them. Can totally relate to the dreaded movie scrolling!!🤯
I 100% agree with everything you have said. I am not sure if Katie was aware of any of that. I am pretty sure she was looking for someone who she trusted with her kids, not necessarily on their doctrine or theology. As long as the babysitter was not teaching anything from the Bible then it is probably fine. Assuming she did not tell the kids that Jesus is spirit brothers with Lucifer or any other heresy.
The other 2 comments are true as well they are incredibly kind and always looking to serve.
