Shinfield sacked the previous guy and replaced them with this idiot and they taught him one phrase .... "Data Protection". One day Shinfield will understand that if you pay peanuts sometimes you can't even manage to get a monkey to do the job.
I saw the video that caused the other guy to get sacked. he obviously wan't briefed on his job properly and seemed like a chap new at the job just just thinking he was being helpful. A warning/education should have been enough, poor guy. But these companies have no repect for their employees these days, they are all just assets to dispose of the moment they put a foot out of place. The misguided loyalty they show their employers is quite sad really.

I'm staggered by the security guard who claimed he was born in England back in 1979. It doesn't say much for the state of our education system that he was barely able to make himself understood after 40+ years. How on earth did he pass his SIA certification?
Easy, he got someone with just half a brain to sit it for him .
I don't know how he got his, but I do know there was an undercover tv show on rouge training centres handing them out like sweets.
When you go on a sia training course they give you all the answers 😢 as this happened to me!!!
Did a better job than many anglo Englishmen born years earlier do. Some people just aren't too bright.

It is like making a phone call and no one answers the phone, and you get 700 options to choose from (which we can do on the internet or using something else). I hate telephones, and I have almosted posted a phone through my window on about 30 different occasions; because I cannot use it to make a call with.

This first security man, is saying some random things. At one point he says outside is no problem. Then changes everything around saying you cant film inside, DJ, never said he wanted to film inside. Then he calls his mates, then starts talking about suing. Think he has forgotten something, he left his workplace, to come outside and question someone in public with a camera. Madness.
Then he videos DJ without getting consent, as he is saying I don't consent to being filmed. Unbelievable, then again it's not.

I've never heard so much drivel and crap from one person as this security guard, and he has the cheek to try and make out it's you that's too thick to understand him. The second guy was just downright rude and obstructive. It makes you wonder why these guys are so scared of being on video if they are just doing an honest job. I stand dumbfounded and corrected, the third guy beat the other two hands down, he is a lunatic. How is it possible these guys have passed some kind of exam or test to qualify for a SIA license ???? Would be great if someone could go through the process of getting an SIA badge covertly, just to see what's needed to qualify as nobody seems to know.

It would be much more entertaining if you ask questions on how they were employed in security and how they managed to get a SIA course.I would guess once you ask those lines of questions,they would run a mile.The run of shame!
Well said , they have to be legally allowed in the country to get an SIA badge among other things. Am sure watching a lot of these sort of audits that they are employing illegals?
I've never worked in security or got an SIA licence, but I've been told by people who have that the week or two training doesn't even mention GDPR. However, if you are front-line security, you should definitely have at least one day of training on it or look it up because it's a part of your job.
You too can become a security guard by applying to SIA, background check and pay your money. They virtually get no formal training other than some documentation.
We all know how they get the SIA badge😂😂😂
@@gellnika1604 Well, I know I've taught some people who were doing a two week course, unrelated to the SIA, as our company then paid for their SIA week's training course or their badge. Many of those couldn't even write or speak English better than a five-year-old. I didn't teach or deliver their SIA, so I don't know how they got on, but I would have thought they would have zero chance of passing. They only got an attendance certificate from us.
They really need to teach security about Data Protection and they really need to have SIA licences on display property.

I said this before many times, why are there so many foreign security that do not understand our laws, who the hell trains them and then allows them out in public.
They’re not security they’re logistics. Their job is literally to tell delivery drivers where it is they need to go, and then get confronted by a man trying to get a ride out of them. It’s pathetic. In the UK, it isn't illegal to film someone in a public place without their consent unless the video is recorded for nefarious purposes. There is no expectation of privacy in a park or the street, for example.

For one of many productions which have filmed less than 2 miles from me in Bradford.
Bodies (2023) which I'm currently updating, specifically used a warehouse which has been used in Downton Abbey, Peaky Blinders, The ABC Murders, Gold, Jay's Yorkshire Workshop, and possibly Emmerdale too.

Security complaining that the last auditor to visit got his colleague sacked because he was too nice by getting permission to film inside was hilarious.
After seeing so many of these videos I understand where all the people who were "cool" as kids but were hiding their insecurity and lack of common sense went. They became "security guards" and/or public employees in general.
I think it’s more the people who came off a rubber boat two weeks before, a week on an SIA course and boom.

Great video 👍 I remember watching the previous auditor (can’t remember who it was 🤔) and the guard presumably thought it was official business and told him to go on site. Pity he was sacked, but still not the auditor’s fault.

Yeah, shifting bricks is half the work. I saw an amazing machine laying blocks in Holland, it did a roads-width at a time and was loaded without anyone having to risk their backs and knees, hard to describe. The operators were actually wearing proper clogs.

Harrington Builders and Shinfield Studios each posted video of the recent construction as well as numerous other channels. By the second gate, the light pole is ever so slightly tilted.⭐⭐⭐👍
Crowdhouse Energy installed a 30 KWP roof solar system. The 2021 concept drawing associated with planning news articles show several larger studio buildings to include roof solar. Appears not yet installed and may be reconfiguring the solar layout as what is installed on the one building is configured different from the concept drawings. Planning docs may have more detail. A late 2024 revisit would be great to see if additional roof solar is installed and the configuration.
That's really that big, considering the size of the place. I think around 60 standard panels? Think of the lighting in that place (Although I do realise that it will be LED lighting, mainly at least).

It was Dje Media that just walked on site at Shinfield Studios, I think security thought he was doing it for the Studio. They didn't like it when they found out he had been on site. He didn't mean to get the security man in trouble but security didn't challenge his right to be there 🙄

Contractual issues, if you fit them to your home you are locked in to a contract for so many years, and if you sold the property the next buyer may not want them, and you then become liable for the cost of the whole installation which could top 50k in Breach of Contact.
