I was at this concert, and have seen Farnsey 17 times. John is a huge part of who we are as Aussies, and interwoven into our souls. He is a part of my earliest memories, of my Nan (RIP) dancing with me up n down the hallway as a 3/4yr old to Sadie the cleaning lady, Everything is out of season, Raindrops. Now im the grandmother dancing in the kitchen with my own grandkids to Johns music. John Farnham has been there at our sides (through his music) during the good and the worst of the worst - using his musical talents,he has always been there for us Aussies through droughts, fires, floods, cyclones etc, and has been a huge part in shaping our political landscape, and laid back culture. John Farnham is the very best of us, and who we aspire to be more like. With John now 73, and after mouth/jaw cancer last year, he may never sing again, but that's ok as long as he's still here with us. Thanks for reacting to Farnsey, we love him to bits and are thrilled to see him being shared around the world - John is a treasure that should be heard by everyone ♥

@@donnam5891 Thank you hon. It was for me, an equal 1st with The Main Event - both nights I felt outside of myself, I was in total awe of what I was hearing and seeing at the same time. Both were truly magical, and I still can't watch the video's without breaking into goosebumps from the memories of those nights....I missed going to see "Jesus Christ Superstar" (stupid tonsils grrrrrrr), and I didn't sneak outta hospital, which is my life's biggest regret lol

@@westy4973 Cheers Westy.....It sure was m8. Having the night end with 'Long Way to the Top' followed by 'Help' was amazing and surreal at the same time. As I said above, it was like an outside of body experience - I knew I was there, but it didn't feel real at the same time, if you get that lol. Even out in the carpark, everyone was buzzing, singing both the last 2 songs. I will NEVER forget watching this old lady in front of me (she had to be in her early 80s)as we were all leaving, and she was 'singing' long way to the top at the top of her lungs. I never thought I'd see someone of that age singing Bon Scott, but there she was, and it was awesome lol

This was John's second encore of the night after a two and a half to three hour concert... He never misses a note and he thinks he's a comedian... his concerts were all as good as each other, regardless of the tour....his band has been with him for over 30yrs with only a few changes throughout the years and is a testament to John's character.... John has been in the industry since he was 18 and is now 73. He only stopped performing in the past year or so and is currently undergoing rehabilitation due to oral cancer surgery.... Australia loves him...and we all wish him a speedy recovery.

That’s the best “reaction video” I’ve seen to John Farnham's version of “Help”. And I’ve seen hundreds of them. It’s very genuine, and you know what you are talking about. Please go down that “Rabbit Hole” with “Farnsey”. It’s so refreshing to see someone genuinely surprised and interested to see what he’s actually about as a vocalist. There are plenty of RUclipsrs who chase Aussies for “clicks”. Most of them do the big “eyes wide open” and “wow”. Fakery is easy to spot. You seem to keep it “real”. Please do more. No doubt there will be recommendations in the comments about what to review next. Anything from the same concert wouldn’t disappoint. As long as you are genuine, react to it “first time viewing” and tell it how you see it. Warts and all. People respect that. And they will follow, like and subscribe.

Your uncontrollable genuine SMILE just says it all as to what a Vocal Genius John Farnham is.
There is just so much going on in this song it can be an overload to the senses but in a great way.
You just open the door to one of the greatest if not the greatest Australian that has always put family, Australia and his fans first.
In every performance you listen to you will discover something different about John’s vocal abilities and that smile will become something that just happens when you listen to John sing.
    Thanks for your genuine reaction.

He was born in Essex, England and moved to Australia when he was 10 years old.
I was born in Scotland and moved to Australia at 11 years old, I wouldn't concider myself Australian because I never grew up here as a child nor did John Farnham.
I am only in Australia because of my family but I am NOT Australian, I came when I was 11 years old, I was already British.

John can sing just about any genre of music. He has even played Jesus in 'Jesus Christ Superstar'.' You're the voice' is his best known song, but anything from this same concert is truly worth a listen. He has also sung duets with many famous singers... Olivia Newton John, Ray Charles, Tom Jones etc. etc. As you saw, he is a master of audience communication with his stage presence, and truly loves performing. He is a Larriken and Prankster on and off the stage. You will get to see some of his funny antics if you watch more of his Live videos of him singing.
An incredibly caring, open and down to earth individual that despite lots of alcohol in his past, always remained extremely grounded. Something he and everyone knows his wife Jill has been his soulmate, anchor and rock that kept him with his feet firmly on the ground and stopped him going too far overboard with things. He cares deeply for those in his band and continuously makes his concerts about them and not himself. He is deeply loved by everyone that has sung for and with him over the decades, and his greatest fans are amongst some of the biggest legends in the world like very close friend Olivia Newton John and Celine Dion, Tom Jones, Ray Charles, Heart and even older like Sammy Davis Jr.
And many other artists couldn't help but acknowledge his vocal abilities in awe like John Lennon, Queen and many many more.

Johnny Farnham.... I have seen him live (Ausmusic 1990 @ Brisbane Entertainment Centre) as a 14 year old. He was one of the older single artists with Daryl Braithwaite amongst the younger boy bands of that era in that Rock music event but boy did he BLOW the young whipper snappers away to make them all look like total amateurs. (Never would that of been John's intentions) but when he was on stage he had the entire crowd INCLUDING this young 14 year old fella in the palm of his hands.
Get Well soon John, we ALL love you mate and thinking about you, hope you make a speedy recovery with your current infection complications. I am HONORED to have witnessed your magic on stage, a moment I'll always treasure. One of if not the BEST male artist performances I've ever witnessed, and I have seen many other GREAT male artists in my time such as Neil Diamond, Prince & Sting just to name a few. In my experiences over 30 years NONE came anywhere near to John Farnham's charismatic and infectious presence whilst on stage.
