Your videos were a great tool for me to use when looking at my options, and ultimatley helped with my decision to commit to Baylor for my Ph.D this upcoming fall! Something that is stressful for many students, especially students coming from far places (yours truly) is moving, and the areas around Baylor. This may be a great future video if you ever get the chance! Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - Proverbs 16:24 May the lord bless you, and best of luck in your degree!

I've heard the enviroment is a little different than the Northeast! :) Regarding the topic, I was referencing the general area of Waco, and potential off campus living spots (safety, region, etc). That may be something worthwhile for those incoming to Baylor, but also yourself if you decide to live off campus! - for instance, I've heard that Brothers Managment is not a great management company I also like your idea of giving more specifics and details about life in Waco, TX - like grocery cost as a student! -let me know if you need more ideas :) Hope all is well, and that you have a blessed rest of your day.

So I did the orientation virtually since I’m from out of state, but my move in vlog showed what I did when moving into the dorms… overall it is a chaotic time but I didn’t really do anything special for my move in 😂

Do you think I will be able to find my group and be able to feel included, especially in a Christian school? I do not mind the religion aspect at all - in fact, I am excited to learn about it. I have several friends who do not identify with the Christian faith, and it is no problem for them to fit at Baylor. That’s great that you’re curious about religion though! College is a fantastic time to dive deep into what you believe and explore that more. In my opinion you won’t feel excluded because there are just SO many clubs/groups/people to choose from! And if you’re ever curious about the Christian faith, literally every Christian group is so happy to talk with anyone more about it.
