I love exploring out in the country but I hate going new places like I’d rather go to the same one many times cause I know it and I feel comfortable there
Thank you for sharing... I'm 41 years old, late diagnosis... Take care of you... it' s so precious to be entered of yourself... more earlier in life... Just be yourself and preserve your vibrations... Thank you and good energies from France. ...
I'm not diagnosed (possibly autistic?) but I actually relate to most of what you said, I found it especially interesting when you mentioned about soft dried cloths, as I have Haptodysphoria and struggle to touch soft/clothing with my hands so wonder if there is a correlation with people who have this and autism.
Sensory in general, yes. But not typically Haptodysphoria. Everyone is different. I don't have problems touching soft clothing/materials with my hands. But I do with dirty dishes or wood utensils or rough plants like the stem of sunflowers, I hate wet skin/something on my skin, so washing hands, brushing teeth, skin care can be really challenging for me. I am suspected to be autistic but did not get the diagnose because my therapist was no specialist. So for me I am autistic or more likely AuDHD.
@@userbunny thank you so much that's very interesting, especially as my sensitivity is the opposite to you. I prefer wet things or rough textures and dislike smooth or dry things, like clothing, cotton wool, velvet, anything cotton etc Best of luck I hope you get the support you need.
I always get that "You don't look like you're on the spectrum." I can relate to a lot of what you shared.
so why tell people you're on the spectrum? do you want them to treat you differently?

I'm glad your parents didn't try to train autistic traits out of you. It's upsetting that anyone still does.
