  • This goaltender is a dedicated and passionate young woman proving herself at the AA level and aspiring to play in the PWHL.
In this video, we focused on fundamental movements in the crease while replicating real game-time speed and scenarios. You can see the corrections being made on how she can move more efficiently while staying patient. The most significant highlight is her ability to compete for every rebound and scoring opportunity. Lyla displays a consistently strong work ethic and a respectful attitude. She is very coachable and appreciates the time her mentors put into her.
Enjoy this condensed video of her training session held in November of 2020.

Fantastic coaching video, enjoyed you stopping the play when needed and explaining proper technique and/or reading the play. Wish you would make more vids. Great work by the goalie, Lyla, as well. Showed a lot of dedication and drive, pushed through the pain as well during the multiple shots on net. Great work by both.

bro shes fucng sick! very nice performance, shes smart and learn quick. You dont go to a camp to receive applause and sweets, you go to a camp to try to reatch 100% of your capacity so u play at 90% bare minimum there is no room for chit can happen, because there is always a way to avoid mistakes and improve your tech... if you want friendly and honey session play with your friends and its free.

Who knows, maybe she might be the first woman in the NHL in a regular season game. Maple Leafs could use her in a few more years.

I love this. I started in the 80's at 15 and haven't been coached since, so I've had to re-learn how to play (after taking 20 years off) with the new techniques and equipment. I'm 53 now and still playing, watching videos like this helps my game. I can't pop anymore, so I rely on positioning and rebound control. So glad to see how many opportunities are out there for young women in hockey, Lyla is amazing! And Nick I love your teaching style, firm, patient and to the point.

I would not go to this camp he makes it seem like you have to be perfect and you can’t even let 1 goal on
