- Review of the incredibly classy looking Longines Spirit. This is the 40mm version with blue dial. An extremely well designed watch which is COSC certified with a first class fit and finish.

Based on this I just purchased one. Wonderful review, I especially like the lots of wrist shots. Most people just throw it on their wrist and ya get a quick look, but you showed your arms doing normal stuff..not just posing the watch, great touch that way ya can see the watch looks like in real life circumstances...oh love the attention to detail thanks bud..well worn and well reviewed
Thanks very much for your feedback - glad you enjoyed the video and congratulations on your purchase of this fine watch! 👌
Looks really good on you. Amazing watch, great review. I like how you showed wrist shots of yourself acting natural, not just the typical POV wrist shot. It gives the watch a whole new perspective. Very smart
Thank you for your positive feedback - much appreciated 👍
Beautiful watch and very good presentation, as usual. Thanks Dave
Many thanks! 👍
I have the watch and I like the long lugs. They balance the dual and give it a robust look and feeling. I wish the date was either at 6 o'clock or not there at all. I'm keeping it and will wear it most days. Good review. Keep them coming.
👍 Thanks for watching.
Lovely, understated watch.
👍 Thanks for watching
The 37mm version suits this design much better, in addition to having the date window tucked away at the 6 position.
Is it just me or do all Longines watches look so good(?)!
You are absolutely right. Longines are bringing out some of the best looking watches on the market right now. They really know how to design a beautiful looking watch. Have you seen the Spirit Zulu? What a stunning piece that is. It's basically the same as this but with a 2nd time zone bezel. Gorgeous: www.longines.com/en-gb/watch-longines-spirit-l3-812-4-93-6
@@wristwatchdave422 Hi Dave thanks. I realise you will be busy but do you have a link for the ladies watch review? Regards David

Enjoy your reviews. Comparing lug to lug on this longines, seiko spb053 and Squalematic 60 Atmos that you have or had. Which would say is the most comfortable for you. I know the Seiko and Squale are bigger case wise but they are similar lug to lug. I have the Seiko but have not seen the Squale and Longines in person. Thank you for any info you can provide.
Hi - The Longines is definitely the most comfortable watch out of those three. 👍
This nice a quality at this price range is a super value. Love the majority brushed finish, screw down crown , red at end of second hand, chrome ring at minute track. That said, if I were to nit pick, I don’t like the long lugs . But beautiful watch.
👍 Thanks for watching.
Really beautiful watch Dave it will be nice if they a no date version
Yes that would look very clean - thanks for watching 👍
Other than the super long lugs, and unframed date window, it's a gorgeous watch. Like others have said, a no-date version would look so much better. push pins are a definite negative as well.
Yes, they are all valid points 👍 Thanks for watching.

Perfect watch! Only the negative for me the butter fly bracelet. Would be better with better clasp style.
Yes, I agree. There is actually a 'Prestige' version with a much better clasp and it comes with two extra straps. It does cost about £500 more and I think is only available with the black dial. Anyway, thanks for watching 👍
I have the green and blue version and both have a clasp instead of the butterfly, Only the blue came with the two extra straps. A brown leather nato style and a blue leather strap with a buckle.
I was going to get this for my big birthday! Lovely, but split pin links on a £2K + watch? WTF? Even San Martin use screw links as standard for as little as £140!
No way am I buying this now!
It is a bit surprising to see that type of pin in a watch like this - but I wouldn't let that small detail put you off if you like everything else about the watch. The links are very slim so that might explain why they opted for split pins. Thanks for watching.
Many thanks for your review of this stunning watch. What is your wrist size?
Thanks for watching 👍 - My wrist size is 7 inches.
Siii
What is your wrist size??
Hi - it's 7 inches
40mm is perfect. The 37mm is to small
Damn mine did not come with wallet
Oh, that's a shame.
Terrible clasp, no micro adjustments. What’s wrong with these watchmakers, people’s wrists swell and contract with temperature differences and physical exertion.
Ridiculously thick.....looks cheap..... Chinese made....no effort to shape the case
12.2mm is not thick.
Looks cheap? Your a damn moron..the fit and finish on this watch is great. And not thick at all..solid case back..I hate these ignorant morons.
