It's not just in Dubai: "Padel is widely considered the fastest-growing sport in the world, there are over 25 million active padel players in over 110 countries..." In South America it's been popular for decades and in Europe it's also super popular since a few years. Only in the US, pickleball is more popular because it's more static and our American friends are not the fittest 😉
Some tennis players will never play padel, mostly out of principle, but I know a lot of tennis players who tried padel and absolutely loved it. Most play both now and some even stopped playing tennis alltogether and now only play padel. Padel even saved a lot of tennis clubs who were on the edge of going banckrupt and are now thriving since they installed a few padel courts. I wouldn't say one is better than the other, since both sports have their strengths.
Not sure how I ended up here, but it was fun to watch!
Thanks. Hope you enjoyed it
Never heard about this! Very interesting sport)
You should try it and share your experience 😀

Wooow. That’s huge number of players. It’s really enjoyable game. Did you try it?
@@discoversaeed I started playing about a year and a half ago. These days we play 2-3 times a week, so it's pretty addictive 😉
@@mdesmet9111Once you start, you don't want to stop 😃
Tennis with trainingwheels
Is it because you run faster?
Tennis is better than padel and pickleball
I never tried tennis. Maybe I should try to see the difference
@@discoversaeed The best cardio on planet earth! 🌎

@@mdesmet9111imo tennis is just much more statisfying. Padel is just much easier.
@@mdesmet9111Both games are connected to each other. Padel players would love to try to play tennis. It's the same thing with tennis players
