- For fun, Hyundai offer the i30N. For frugality there's the i30 Hybrid. Is boasting economy figures of 3.9L/100km enough to make it an obvious choice, or does it leave us feeling a bit underwhelmed.

It's a cheap purchase and running car for goodness...if your keen to spend another 15 to 20 on bullshit go hard.
4:18 actually don't need to release the handbrake. It will do it automatically when you touch the go pedal.
Any insight into other trims of the hybrid model coming soon to Australia? I would prefer this in an elite trim.
Allegedly the Elite and Premium trim levels are due to come to Australia later this year from what I could find online.
Hate to say it, but I agree with your aspects David. This looks like a poverty pack i30 to appease the penny pinchers. Not that penny pinching is a bad thing, but you can tell where they have scrimped on areas inside the cabin that looks a bit 'meh'. Shav
For sure but also I guess there’s plenty out there that just need a tool to do a job, and this fits that bill. In saying that, a nicer interior would go a long way. Thanks for watching mate

It does what I want for an affordable price. I may trade it in for a more premium model in a couple of years but this thing is perfect for urban driving and spacious enough to fit my large body.
