@@muyboy1214 I agree, melee charge feels like a mandatory item for most characters. You can farm very quick with it and you can pop that +100% ammo before the fight.

I liked the last video you did on farming with Seven, but this is way better. Instantly earned a subscription, and I’m looking forward to more of your content! Super well made guide and the little casting moment you did of the gameplay was really fun too.
Unreal video excited for the general farming video. I’m an infernus main myself would love to see a similar video for him because I feel like I don’t get big fast enough!
healing rite is such a underrated item in laning phase. While it is weak against agro players due to it easily getting canceled, it counters passive players that keep their distance when poking the guardian or play defensively. However if you are equal trading hp it causes a huge hp lead on your side due to it healing around 370 hp which is vastly more than the 180 hp that 2.8 gives over 64 sec. I think hp regen popularity is due to the fact people prefer not to use active items but for 500 healing rite is stupidly good and it's a simple out of combat active skill.
i dunno, i have had such little success with this build over the 15 games i've played with it since you posted the last farm seven video... it's great if your team is already winning all of their lanes and you have tons of space, and if your team is losing at all you are pretty screwed unless the enemy puts basically no pressure on you. usually can't rely so heavily on jungling because *everyone* knows to farm their jungle creeps between waves (this is literally the like 2nd main lesson people are taught about deadlock from every content creator under the sun, after "farming is good so you should farm a lot instead of teamfight all game"), so the small and mid camps are almost always gone on both sides of the map (especially if there's a haze or wraith in the server), definitely even harder to hit 7.5k pre-10min if you're in the duo lane and not the solo from the start. even moreso if your solo lane loses it because then THEIR solo lane comes to gank more frequently. i'm running the routes, not getting owned in lane or dying constantly, farming as much as i can, it's just such a huge delay before you have impact that you really need your team to hold their own. there's also the part where every game my team absolutely fucking HATES me because i'm not participating in teamfights until ~20-25min. never experienced so much toxicity with any other build i've played. the few games that do go long enough and my team basically 5v6s enough where i CAN get fully farmed i obviously dominate as expected, a fully-built seven is disgusting... but getting to that point without my team getting absolutely dunked has not been going well. definitely found more success with a support seven build with things like echo shard to just stun the shit out of the enemy as frequently as possible or just max DPS+3 run them down style. the video is exceptionally clear and well-presented which is why i've been trying the build for the last few days, and i really don't have any questions, but DAMN has my winrate sucked with it.
The build is definitely a very greedy one similar to ricochet rush haze. You can't rely on this gameplan every game especially as opponents get better you just suck up all the farm from you team and pray they can hold out for you to come in and be thanos. It is very effective however and if your team does keep the game close no doubt you will be able to join them and carry the game. I just wouldn't say this is a reliable plan especially if you have other carry players on your team that also look to avoid the early fights and farm. Possibly could max 2 > 3 in some games and grab some mid game items like divine barrier or improved reach to upgrade your stun and join fights earlier if it looks like you can't afk farm to +30k souls.
I'm a power surge maxxer before ball for the simple reason of higher movement speed and better survivability against opponents. I find myself utilising tesla bullets, powersurge and extended duration are able to hold a powersurge essentially to a 3-5 second cooldown and my movement speed is so astronomically high I can clear camps so much faster at the 15-20min mark. The ball use I sometimes also double back because I miss a jungle creep, this ensures I don't double back and keep it flowing. Magic carpet isn't necessary cause I just buy giant leap and can clear the map just as faster for less souls. If you buy infuser early game you also have better attacking potential compared to throwing sub-par lightning balls at enemy heros, let's face it they really suck against them unless you throw the stun first. That's just my thoughts I'm sure you've given it a try, I just find it meshes into the end game better cause seven end game is all about powersurge. Really good content though and it's given me inspiration on how to more effectively utilise the ball.
The problem with leap is that it gets restricted if you take damage from heroes. Magic carpet is generally a better escape since it also gives you shield. Tesla bullets also has the problem of not scaling well in late game team fights since the shock damage is fixed.
As another dedicated seven main, it's interesting how similar the strategies we independently developed are. The major difference is I dont like actives. So, I stack mystic slow, slowing bullets, soul shredder, and bullet resist shredder. I die a lot from overextending (I average like 8 deaths a game tbh) so adding magic carpet to my kit is pretty huge. Thanks for this series! My kit is published as "Electricity Induced Hell" by t17389z
been already doing a ball build of my own , after extra charge and superior cool down , if i can , i rush mystic reverb for the ball :^) ; bigger ball , more slow , more life steal

Drongo! I cant believe I fall on your Deadlock channel because I played tf out of AoE4. This(my) YT channel doesnt have AOE4/RTS subs so this is just a nice coincidence. Great video btw. I am hoping to be a Shoutcaster for deadlock in the future.
magic carpet merchant lmfao. kidding. Great video. You convinced me to try out the magic carpet tech. Never bought it because i thought it was a waste of money
If you don't otherwise have good movement, (especially if you're a longer ranged hero) it's amazing, but if you have build-in teleports or jumps it's not as good
You are pretty good on your hero. I have 1000-1100 nekoscore, but still learnt a lot from you. Don't mind about these nekoscores, lol. Just wait for real ranked.
A number of problems I have with this build specifically. Firstly I hate sprint boots in laning phase. It’s useless. Sprint is only good for running across lanes. It’s not as good as move speed. I would rather pick up extra stamina almost every time. Rather than extra mag, I would pick up headshot booster or restorative shot based on how aggressive the opponent is. Hollow point ward is also better for farming, if that’s the goal. Fleetfoot is bad on seven, because his weapon’s burstfire only slows him for a quarter second. His speed also scales with spirit, which this item doesn’t help at all with. It is much better on characters with sustained fire and slow speed like mcginnis. Mystic shot basically doubles our DPS with our high spirit, so it is probably the best value weapon item IMO. I would prioritize mystic vulnerability soon after laning as the damage boost is the difference between a ball being are to take out a camp or not. Magic Carpet has the same role as Fleetfoot, but you have both. Why? This is one of the worst items to buy on seven imo. You want to be maxing spirit items and magic carpet steals one of your valuable spirit slots AND 6200 whopping souls. Etherial shift is the same, unless we are specifically fighting a terrifying bebop or wraith. Instead consider putting Surge of Power on Lightning Ball. It has a low cooldown so it basically procs on every ball. With rapid recharge can basically keep it up almost indefinitely. It’s not only useful for farming cause it boosts your speed after every neutral camp, but it helps you get away by spamming balls at enemies chasing you, and helps you chase down enemies and finish them with your boosted fire rate. You don’t need fleetfoot or magic carpet. Majestic Leap is good enough to fill any gaps. Finally escalating exposure is very important if you want to kill healtanks, which are the meta right now. They can basically stand in your ult and shoot you to death without it. It is also much better than improved spirit imo because it also helps your teammate’s damage output. Also, don’t forget healbane.
This is not to mention the problems I have with tactics in the vid. Specifically seven is great at stealing enemy camps. I often shoot a lightning ball at the first small camp that spawns in the laning phase on my opponent’s side. They think I missed, but I’m actually stealing their souls. You should be doing this as much as possible. Seven is also great at defending and pushing lanes. Maybe even the best other than ivy. You can literally kill advancing creeps from miles away. You should only be farming when your allies are on the enemy side of the map, and even then enemy camps if they are available. Finally, you should be joining team fights whenever you have your ult up. You can often switch any teamfight into a winning one, and while your allies are pushing you can get back to farming.
Damn, you completely revamped the build, it looks better now. I wanted to ask though, why is fleetfoot in the laning stage category? Fleetfoot is a required item on seven, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't really help with farm all that much. For the price, rather getting enduring speed/mystic reach instead or saving up for surge of power would be more optimal no?
Fleetfoot in general just does a lot for 1.25k. People only focus on the penalty removal but the active makes it absolutely impossible to chase down Seven unless you're Lash or someone with enough mobility items/lockdown. In the early game it's impossible to someone to have a mobility item to catch up so the only way people can chase you down is to have Fleetfoot too.
@@QuackZack While that's true, I still don't think it's optimal to get fleetfoot so early into the game, especially if you're not going to be pushing into enemy camps. Obviously it depends on the lobby, but in general, I think that other items tend to be better buys than fleetfoot so early on.
@@SalmonShark Popping fleetfoot active also gives a bit of ammo to your clip, i find it decently helpful. Being able to move around the map is just as good as being able to kill them quickly since at the end of the day you're saving time either way.
@@vitalnormal2531 The extra ammo is nice sometimes I admit, but it rarely matters since you're one shot balling all of the medium camps. Of course it helps a little bit with t3 camps as well as the camp in the basement, but considering the price as well as the stage of the game, it's usually better to buy something else. Also fleetfoot's active only has a 4s/19s uptime, so enduring speed, although 500 more expensive, is still usually a better option for rotates.
I’m really interested in this build. I did notice in this video that it looks like you never used your ult in that game. Do you just rarely use the ult with this build or is his ult not good in your opinion?
Few good reasons why he didn't. Seven's ult is strong but only against a primarily bullet based team. Lady Geist craps out spirit dmg and Bebop also counters Seven in way, he can hook you, use knockdown, then pick you off. OR he can use his ultimate and with it's last upgrade it heals him WAY more than you could hope with any source of spirit lifesteal. Not to mention it relies on being way ahead or having a low elo team, it's good for solo kills early but in late game it's too risky and only sets you up to get picked off.
k i am sold on magic carpet :D magic carpet + ES seems very useful for split pushers ! great guide and narration. keep them videos coming. PS: dont forget the toilet paper :D
Great guide! But I prefer rushing magic carpet after laning phase, the mobility and escape is just too good and it enables me to start pushing up and stealing enemy jungle.
@@breakthecode4634 Nope, that's a great idea. After all the core laning items are done, magic carpet allows me to efficiently rotate lanes, escape after stealing enemy jungle and also use it as an initiator for my ult. The flexibility on the item is insane.
Sir, do you always prioritize space and ball from afar, or do you ever magic carpet over the teamfight and ult? Do you ulse ult defensively while being pushed? Defensively when teammates are dying? Or not at all because power surge deals more dmg?
Great guide! What's your advice for taking midboss with this build? Seems to me like you're ideal to take midboss from anywhere based on you mobility but is it worth taking time away from farming to help your team since you don't have much utility before ult is upgraded
The healing rite bug is bc you enabled smart cast for everything. You have to press mid mouse button first now and hold it and then cast the healng rite by pressing the button... It freaked me out aswell, when it happened to me and made me change it back to normal cast again :')
That’s same good guide here, even if I’m not gonna build magic carpet I’m still take a lot useful information, build my own build that a little bit different from yours but still win me 2 games in a row with almost 40% farm lead from 2 strongest guy in our lobby But I think seven will get nerf soon so I should subscribe for the new guide after the nerf😅
maybe when you abandon lane would it be better to tho hide and pop the souls from the guardian? If you pop all of them it negates the souls that everyone on the enemy team gets and gives them to every member of your team.
“Abandon the lane” and giving your enemy a free tower is such an incredibly unfathomably bad take. You can do everything you’re still doing with this build without unnecessarily just going afk on the game.
@@Arunnn241 It gives a gold infusion to every enemy player. It is 1/4 of a flex spot for the enemy team. It allows the person you’re laning against to freely go gank. It allows the enemy zip lines to extend down to your walker. It opens your jungle up to invasion (!). And many other reasons. The objectives in deadlock are so insanely important that can’t do justice explaining it in a RUclips comment section. Even if you have the intent to stop defending it, just get on the mic and ask someone to cover it, people will be more than happy. “Just abandon the lane” is insane and an extremely low skill and irresponsible thing to encourage people to do.
If we assume he is going to let the tower fall I think the best thing he could have done would be to go farm the bottom left creeps then return, deny tower souls then continue to do what he did in the vid. Each of the souls in tower are worth 38 souls for every player on the other team. So if you deny all 4 to prevent the enemy team from getting 912 souls. But in addition denying the souls gives the soul value to EVERYONE on your team. So your team gets 912 in total. So its a 2k swing in the score for your team. Finally he said like oh look lash is getting a kill and an assist so I can take his tower. Like yeah you want to take the tower but you can only farm for a win if your team does not loose before you get farmed. Keeping your lane shoved to keep the lash near his tower. You just have to watch the mini map for what happens. As a direct result of you leaving the lane you loose 1 tower putting the other team up 1k then lash moves over and there is a team fight were your team looses 2 people. (delaying their farm) and your blue lane farm mid but then see your green lane has 3 in it. They go in to help and you loose 2 team mates. Because green lane gets overwhelmed and you take a lot of tower damage. But also because blue lane is dead bebop pushes your blue tower and it goes down +1.6k for other team. Then because blue when down that frees up mcginnis who goes straight to purple lane and takes out your purple tower with lady geist +1.6k for other team. Then the next team fight in green lane as you push towards the walker you lose green lanes tower +1.6k for other team. So you trade 1 tower and some farm for 4 towers That's 4.8k advantage for the other team. And you can see it in the scores at 10min your team has 41k vs 42k then 2min 30 later you are at 55k and they are at 57k. So great you got to farm up quick from 7k to 11k but in total your move cost your team more. If you had fought for the tower and the green lane fight did not have lash in it they would have won and taken green tower. gone back to blue taken blue tower and purple may have not gone either way. You would have been able to farm like a minute later but you would still be on 11k because of the share of the tower souls you got and your team in general would be way ahead.
I love the build but for some reason i can't get the results of the benchmark. Mostly because there are no camps left because other people farm too. what should i do in this case?
Rewlly good guide but recommending to abandon lane is INSANE Ensuring your opponents have fewer flex slots is the main way to ensure deadlock wins if youre playing non beginners
I feel like titanic magazine isnt soul efficient for seven because all the ammo you get is from sliding, so I’d rather spend these souls on getting my spirit power spikes faster
Hey what do I do when my wraaith or haze is hellbent on eating up all our jungle then go ult 1 guy in a corner and get collapsed on dropping 6000 souls to the enemy thanks :p

I love this slowly devolving into a carpet ad

Great content, would have thought you'd have way more subscribers than
thanks for this guide!
Great video ❤, Do shiv next please🙏🙏
Amazing videos, amazing build, amazing storytelling!!! Teach me how to make good RUclips videos PLS!❤
13:08 didnt even wait for escalating to expire
thats how the maths of it work i guess
Yeah I don't think sharpshooter is as good as he thinks it is.
Great guide! But I prefer rushing magic carpet after laning phase, the mobility and escape is just too good and it enables me to start pushing up and stealing enemy jungle.
That's a terrible idea.
@@breakthecode4634 Nope, that's a great idea. After all the core laning items are done, magic carpet allows me to efficiently rotate lanes, escape after stealing enemy jungle and also use it as an initiator for my ult. The flexibility on the item is insane.
Do you stream on Twitch at all? Looking for people to follow who play Seven, and get an idea of what different lanes look like for you!
What a solid fucking video, finally made alot of stuff click for me
Sir, do you always prioritize space and ball from afar, or do you ever magic carpet over the teamfight and ult? Do you ulse ult defensively while being pushed? Defensively when teammates are dying? Or not at all because power surge deals more dmg?
love this stuff
Great guide! What's your advice for taking midboss with this build? Seems to me like you're ideal to take midboss from anywhere based on you mobility but is it worth taking time away from farming to help your team since you don't have much utility before ult is upgraded
won 3 games so far with this build very mobile/health oriented build i like it
The healing rite bug is bc you enabled smart cast for everything. You have to press mid mouse button first now and hold it and then cast the healng rite by pressing the button... It freaked me out aswell, when it happened to me and made me change it back to normal cast again :')
18:07 the way to work around this bug is by holding mouse 3 then pressing your healing rite
Subscribed hope to see other hero too
That’s same good guide here, even if I’m not gonna build magic carpet I’m still take a lot useful information, build my own build that a little bit different from yours but still win me 2 games in a row with almost 40% farm lead from 2 strongest guy in our lobby
But I think seven will get nerf soon so I should subscribe for the new guide after the nerf😅
maybe when you abandon lane would it be better to tho hide and pop the souls from the guardian? If you pop all of them it negates the souls that everyone on the enemy team gets and gives them to every member of your team.
please make more guides
“Abandon the lane” and giving your enemy a free tower is such an incredibly unfathomably bad take. You can do everything you’re still doing with this build without unnecessarily just going afk on the game.
Why is it a bad take?
@@Arunnn241 It gives a gold infusion to every enemy player. It is 1/4 of a flex spot for the enemy team. It allows the person you’re laning against to freely go gank. It allows the enemy zip lines to extend down to your walker. It opens your jungle up to invasion (!). And many other reasons. The objectives in deadlock are so insanely important that can’t do justice explaining it in a RUclips comment section. Even if you have the intent to stop defending it, just get on the mic and ask someone to cover it, people will be more than happy. “Just abandon the lane” is insane and an extremely low skill and irresponsible thing to encourage people to do.
yeah he made the right decision for the wrong reasons, it's funny to see people reinvent MOBAs when most of us have thousands of hours in dota and lol
I also thought this. Like if your tower is going to go down you should at least hang around and deny the souls out of it?
Nice vid
Is this Aussie Drongo ? You guys sound exactly the same
they just patched ethereal shift so u cant end it early while casting magic carpet
I am seeing V2.0 of this build. It does not use carpet or ES. Was there a patch? or reason? Is it the right build?
That Ethereal shift + carpet is definitely gonna get nerfed sometime, its way too broken of a tech
I love the build but for some reason i can't get the results of the benchmark. Mostly because there are no camps left because other people farm too. what should i do in this case?
you must have some professional experience or a lot of youtuber experience, the polish is amazing
Are there any other characters that can manage to match farm speed if I'm not very into Sever? Thanks!
Subbed.
What about your ult? Great vid!
tbh the ult is bad. its more usefull as a ammo extender and a bit for Zoneing .
what happens if you spawn in a duo lane? ask to swap or follow the same philosophy?
I think this guide is probably what is going to bring me out of bronze, got like 10 hours on the game rn
Rewlly good guide but recommending to abandon lane is INSANE
Ensuring your opponents have fewer flex slots is the main way to ensure deadlock wins if youre playing non beginners
Is this the drongo from aoe4?
The Anti-Mage of Deadlock?
why do you remove the mouse form the item when you talk about it, really want to see the stats
you make it look so easy))
I feel like titanic magazine isnt soul efficient for seven because all the ammo you get is from sliding, so I’d rather spend these souls on getting my spirit power spikes faster
Hey what do I do when my wraaith or haze is hellbent on eating up all our jungle then go ult 1 guy in a corner and get collapsed on dropping 6000 souls to the enemy thanks :p
i watched your first video to get good on seven and gameplan, not as good as you played yet but so far i like it, magic carpet plot armor is 100% BS
Magic carpet is so underrated, maks you very slippery.
you just made me the most annoying seven in deadlock. magic carpet op
feels weird thats theres ball max movements going for seven AND viscous right now.
and they both go by ball max.
