Very cool. Here in the U.S they typically get MREs or First Strike Rations if there going out to big forest fires or something. Thanks for watching....Later.
Thank you Sir. I really do focus on trying to keep it interesting and stay focused on the ration. My goal is to hold everyone's intrest for as long as possible. I'm easily side tracked, and long winded usually. I've got 2 videos to film this weekend and I'm going to try to keep them as short as possible.
Once again fantastic review I got to tell you watching this I wish I had something that cool on my rig back in the day when we would be standing by to stand by for hours and maybe days on end the crappy barely edible survival food we keep on our fire engine was not suitable for human consumption at that time, definitely be picking me up a couple of them.
Thank you for being honest!! Hope to find a way to get polish mre of kind you received.cant wait here about full day menu.all I've found is no they don't have three meals for the day . thanks for the update and hope find more information about mre,s.
That is raspberry jam, Malina is raspberry in Polish (Bulgarian and Russian too). Also like Bulgarian and Russian when a noun becomes an adjective as in the noun raspberry (Malina) becomes an adjective raspberry jam, as in describing what jam it is, the root of the word stays the same but the ending changes, to Dzem Malinowy. Makes the language hard to learn and maybe why translation apps are not always reliable as the words have to be translated in context.
Ain't nothing to it but to do it. I'll say this though it's no where near as easy as you'd think. That's been my experience with this journey anyway. But it's rewarding in its own ways. Good Luck.
For the price you can't really beat it. I seen he's got SRGs for like $47 shipped I think. That's bettet than anyone else's prices that I've seen. Plus you have the safety of eBay with him as well.
Oldsmokey : Yep! I got sick in Budapest in the 1990s. They brought all the bread for the day in the morning. I complained and they told me that was the same food the doctors ate. I ate some strong humble pie that day!
+Perktube1 I think he recently just got a set of these. I've had the lunch and dinner for almost a year I just wanted to start with the breakfast. Lechistanduke was awesome for hooking me up to complete my set. I'll check the lunch and dinner out here real soon.
As far as I know, these rations were comissioned after the flood of '97 - hundreds of firefighters (alongside other personnel) were then deployed to counter it. Which, usually, meant - deployed far away from their homes, and with little to no logisitcs support. The Army had their field kitchens, and whatever MRE-equivalent existed back then (AFAIK, the S-rations of that era were still the same as in the late Warsaw Pact years). As you can guess, keeping all those those folks adequately fed (under field conditions, and perfoming demanding physical labour) became a big issue... So, once all was done, the State Fire Brigade HQ asked the Arpol company - who were making field rations for the military - if they could possibly compose a firefighter's field ration. Those are meant to be issued on extended deployments away from one's home firestation - mostly when fighting large natural disasters like floods or forrest fires.
Hey Oldsmokey good to see you. Hope you are feeling better. Hub and i have bad colds. Loved this review, everything looks so good. Makes me want to try one. Keep up the great work:)
I ended up cooking some of the meat on a skillet and it tasted like bacon. This is a very light meal but the lunch and dinner are heavy meals. But that's what's fun about theses are that they are 3 separate meals not just one 24hr ration. But yeah I've pretty much kicked my illness it stuck with me for over 3 weeks. Thank ya'll for watching and also thanks for all of your guys support its very humbling. Have a good weekend before the madness of Christmas shopping begins....Later.
Im sure theres all kinds of things you can do like cooking it that way to make it tasty. I enjoy watching them. Wow three weeks, ive had colds like that. Im getting better. And its my pleasure to help as much as i can. I hope to see others do so. So we get more great reviews like this:). You have a great one too. Yes its starting already :)
Here's a link to Lechistanduke's eBay store go check him out. By supporting him it'll support me as well. 🚒🚒Update** I just spoke with Lechistanduke and he said he sold out of the firebrigade sets but GOOD NEWS he will have more Next week. In the meantime he's got some great deals on FRENCH RCIRs and the Polish SRGs. But yeah he will have sets in plenty of time for Christmas for the fireman in your family. Thanks for your support everyone!!!! stores.ebay.com/kimizard/
Oldsmokey thanks for the link on that! I'd found that dude before but couldn't find him again for a long time for whatever reason. Something to do with how eBay lets you search from different areas I think
+Oldsmokey hi guys, the greatest success that i've ever had was by using the Marla Survive System (just google it) definately the most helpful survival i've tried.
Hey old smokey big fan have been since u started big fan of the ration community to always looking forward to the next ration. I couldn't seem to find ur address so I could send u a few thing sorry I don't know if I missed it somewhere or what . But thanks for what you do keep it buddy
+James Standifer Jr That'd be awesome man. I'll put my adress down below here. I appreciate your watching and being so into the ration community. Oldsmokey P.O Box 68 Mason WV, 25260
+Blaze Rhodon Yep Roger that I have all different types of Polish rations, military, civilian, and the firebrigade rations. The firebrigade ration isn't as strong as the military ration basically.
Great review, dude!and this meal looks good for any serviceman, because breakfast is time to get some carbs. i want ask ecommend(no offense ofcourse) if its possible, could you calculate total fats\carbs\proteins and display this info somewhere review?i know, its hard job and takes time, but might be very useful for people who counts nutrients.
Glad to see you back. Thanks for the shout out. If that knife or the others get dull, I will sharpen them for you! I have only seen 2 other reviews on these rations. You scored A hard to get item friend! Our buddy Delicious, might be able to give you more info on this type of ration? Items all looked good. I have learned the value, and many uses of sweetened condensed milk, since I have been in this community. Handy item. Your meal looked very good!! I could make A meal out of this at least, LOL. When time, send email to my Gmail, or message on Facebook please sir? Peace, John.
I know, in Poland too, but this one is made like Duracell, your own power pack, which is fluid and thanks that, work quick. like glucose. you will feel energy faster.
That's crazy to see a ration for the firefighter, when my father and his department has long hours at a fire or if it's some type of scenario for example a fatal car accident to where they're going to be recreating the accident for hours to see how it happen or huge structure fires, usually the chief or a few of the firefighter wives order pizza or whatever they want so they can stay Energized and alert. We always brought extra cases of cold water too so they can stay hydrated and cooled off. So for me it's cool but really weird to see a ration for firefighters when it's so drastically different here. Amazing video though! I know I'm late do I don't expect a reply but, may I ask why you didn't just use the knife to cut the bag the rest of the way? The knife looks very sharp it probably would have went right across lol.
+Stephanie Ann Oh I usually do just use my knife. I wanted to keep the bag for display and thought the scissors would make it cleaner looking. Ok now as far as the rations our firefighters here in the states use mre's if they are going to go on a remote forest fire and things like that. The reason I even know that is because of my buddy Firemanfood1988. I met him here on my channel and he sent me his old leftover mre's from the 90s. I guess Poland just got fancy with it.
Oldsmokey makes sense I would keep the bag too! And huh, see here in Michigan even when my dad does search and rescue they just have sandwiches packed or something like that. Although I think a ration would be much better for them especially when they have to do the all day and half night searches, my dad always comes home practically starving and we always make a protein packed meal that he loves. My father has been a firefighter for 28 years and I think it's cool to see how much our ways vary to other states and countries like Poland. As someone who's about to be a paramedic, I'd love to see one created for us. You know we do some much lifting and running, and alot of the men and women don't eat very well, usually fast good or gas station snacks because anytime you sit down for a meal the tone goes out. I'd rather have a mre than fast food every day!
+Stephanie Ann I'll tell ya what. Idk if you've heard of Custom MRE yet. It's BlackDogBobs ration company he's just getting started. I'm going to tell him I think he should put together some emergency services personnel ration with healthy but easy to eat food. He even makes custom labels so he could make a nurses, doctors, firefighter, etc.
Oldsmokey That's be so cool I'd buy one if he could! We definitely need protein. Alot of us use caffeine but i unfortunately have heart disorders so I gotta find my energy through foods, if he could come up with something energy packed but not with gensing or types of caffeine I'd love that and I'd definitely be Willing to pay for it! I know dry fruit and things like that fruit bar you reviewed in this video would be a good substitute. Hell, if he could make it and it catches on for EMS and firefighters alot of people would be slimming down. It's crazy how alot of EMTs get very overweight after a few years of being on the rig. I promised myself I wouldn't do that even if I had to buy more expensive food to stay well fed and hydrated. I've definitely heard of them, I heard alot of people are making their own MREs too. I believe it was Nathan's mre, he just reviewed one a fan sent him and that was neat to see!
+Stephanie Ann I'm going to send him the message info you told me if that's ok with you and we'll see what he can do with it. Now as far as food energy without a bad crash I like to eat larabars, all organic, only 5 ingredients, packed with protein, minerals, and vitamins
+Mister Hat I think this would get them by for a few hours until lunch. I couldn't eat this as a breakfast long term.... but for a few days I could handle that.
+Roger Holt Sorry gotta pay for the rations some how and RUclips demonized a bunch of my videos lately. Also there should have only been one in the middle if there was more then it's still messed up. They don't show up for me like they do you but my buddy said the other day 3 came up in like 8 minutes. It's happened to a few people I know on RUclips. I've tried to fix it twice now on this video in particular. I'll try to fix it again as soon as I can.
+Matt Klaus They will go out for long periods of time into the woods some times. So these work perfectly for short term food. The lunch and dinner are much bigger. I'll check those out soon.
Ah yeah I'm assuming they are fighting forest fires and such. I don't think they'd stay out much more than a couple to three days at a time and switch crews if needed.
I think that the condensed milk was intended purely for the tea and coffee brother, but another great review.
Those polish tank tracks....lol...i love that milk in a tube... liked the review thanks for making the video.
I had the same jam pork and biscuits in my military polish mre.
Thanks for the vid.
+Lukey Dukey AUS
I believe they are commonly used in all of their rations from what I've has and seen.
I plan to join the fire service. And the fact that-in some countries-they have their own MREs makes me happy.
Very cool. Here in the U.S they typically get MREs or First Strike Rations if there going out to big forest fires or something. Thanks for watching....Later.
Smokey my friend, love watching you bud. You move things along it's enjoyable ,not long and drawn-out you're my favorite. Blessings Pastor Mike
Thank you Sir. I really do focus on trying to keep it interesting and stay focused on the ration. My goal is to hold everyone's intrest for as long as possible. I'm easily side tracked, and long winded usually. I've got 2 videos to film this weekend and I'm going to try to keep them as short as possible.
black legion is sold at Bud K. Good knives for the price.
Great start for a hard days firefighting
I've been looking for one of these! Thanks for the video now I can see what's inside one first!
Love your channel man, in my opinion you are just as relaxing as steve
Bctzkriegd : yep, I agree
I'll be waiting to see them ! Blessings
I needed some good ol smokey content
Once again fantastic review I got to tell you watching this I wish I had something that cool on my rig back in the day when we would be standing by to stand by for hours and maybe days on end the crappy barely edible survival food we keep on our fire engine was not suitable for human consumption at that time, definitely be picking me up a couple of them.
That's awesome. He will combine shipping if you happen to want 2 sets. He really is a good guy to deal with.
Thank you for being honest!! Hope to find a way to get polish mre of kind you received.cant wait here about full day menu.all I've found is no they don't have three meals for the day . thanks for the update and hope find more information about mre,s.
My blue one was busted really bad unfortunately. So I couldn't eat it.

I see these on his store all the time but never pull the trigger on them. Might have to try it eventually!
For the price you can't really beat it. I seen he's got SRGs for like $47 shipped I think. That's bettet than anyone else's prices that I've seen. Plus you have the safety of eBay with him as well.
Oldsmokey I think the only cheaper option I've ever seen is Delicious.
I got 2 SRG's from him for $50 Ibelieve.
www.sklep.arpol.net.pl
This is the manufacturer site. I don't know if it's easy to order abrode from them but you can try.
I love sweetened condensed milk. It’s cool they give such a large portion of it.
I think it's supposed to last throughout the day with lunch and dinner also. Which I will keep it for those reviews instead of just eating it.
Oldsmokey : Yep! I got sick in Budapest in the 1990s. They brought all the bread for the day in the morning. I complained and they told me that was the same food the doctors ate.
I ate some strong humble pie that day!
If you like it, you should have Polish shop in ur area, its 99% possible that they gonna have the same condensed milk in the shop
New here. This is the first one of its kind I've seen. You're one up on Steve.
+Perktube1
I think he recently just got a set of these. I've had the lunch and dinner for almost a year I just wanted to start with the breakfast. Lechistanduke was awesome for hooking me up to complete my set. I'll check the lunch and dinner out here real soon.
I have a full set of these here, have yet to try it
I'll probably check the lunch and dinner out in a couple weeks. I've got a couple special projects coming up next week.
Back when I was on a fire crew, all we got was candy bars. Occasionally someone would bring out a home made meal.
As far as I know, these rations were comissioned after the flood of '97 - hundreds of firefighters (alongside other personnel) were then deployed to counter it. Which, usually, meant - deployed far away from their homes, and with little to no logisitcs support. The meat from a fire brigade tastes smoky. 😂😂😂
Lol.

They should have put some dill pickles in that ration!
Polish firebrigade have very similar rations as Polish army. Actually it is the same producer Arpol.

I can disagree with you there. It's a pretty unique thing to try out. I mean it's meant for a firefighter in Poland haha.
Haha this expires on my birthday

I have a bunch of different rations I haven't seen anywhere if you want to eat one
+michael edwards
If you have a ration that hasn't been reviewed I'd be honored if you'd consider me to review it.
I have a few I have not seen on here

Seems like most of the calories are sugars and simple carbs. Can't see that sticking with someone. Especially when fighting a fire.
+Mister Hat
I think this would get them by for a few hours until lunch. I couldn't eat this as a breakfast long term.... but for a few days I could handle that.
Spilled condensed milk looks like a skull crying.
American brush/wildland fire fighters carry MREs on there trucks.

but why though? i dont get why the need mres

They will go out for long periods of time into the woods some times. So these work perfectly for short term food. The lunch and dinner are much bigger. I'll check those out soon.
Ah ok that makes sense. I was ASS-Uming that they were the city firefighters
Ah yeah I'm assuming they are fighting forest fires and such. I don't think they'd stay out much more than a couple to three days at a time and switch crews if needed.
Dear Euros, it's called a Fire Department.
i have one question what state are you from ? ( if not from u.s then sorry )

Oh yeah I'm from the States. I'm from West Virginia and lived in Ohio for years also.
Oldsmokey i was think maybe on of the southern appalachian states based on how you pronounce some of your words

Yep its been a while since I've stayed out of town in different states. I used to travel all the time and would loose my draw some.
