When you listen word for word this is such a common issue in failing relationships.I really enjoy the fact that songs like this really make you realize what you feel is a isolated incident in your eyes is actually the norm. It is a song about regret and I'm not certain if Usher regrets his divorce but perhaps he does. No matter the inspiration, this song is absolutely beautiful and so many of us can relate to the meaning. We've lost the love of our lives and we want them back even though the relationship was often very painful because it was the strongest connection we've ever felt. What a gorgeous song.

As a fan of Death metal and other hard rock this was a surprise entry as my Song of the year 2012. Usher's vocals are just mind-blowingly good, the sincerity and vulnerability he expresses really draw you in, it feels like a confessional, it feels intimate. I don't know who wrote this songs but the lyrics are poetry, so many pretentious acts aim for this level of elegance and fail (i.e. Mumford and sons). Finally Diplow's backing track is just silky splendour.
He's always been a great singer , ever since he started he never disappointed me with any of his songs
