Bought this pistol over 11 years ago. At the time, I used it and got the CO2 leak. Never used it again. Just put it in a box and forgot about it until yesterday. Almost tossed it until I saw your video TH3C001. Used the Teflon tape and just fired about 60 shots. No problem. Thanks so much for posting. Don't despair over any insulting comments, especially since you're giving this info away for FREE. I would caution others about the screw at the end of the barrel though. As I backed it out, the barrel end and two inner springs shot out. Fortunately, they're big enough to find quickly. WELL DONE!
I want to thank you very much for the information. My gun had the exact problem, and with your help I got it sealed. If all the young people of America had your talent our country would be a better place.
I saw your video last year, and it solved my problem...I came back this year to leave this comment...Just wanted to say thanks....I think you are a very smart and cool guy....I never thought that i could ever take it apart and put it back together again..but i did.... thanks again....take care...
Worked. Thanks. But you should point out where the springs go. And that little brass thing held by a spring isn't mentioned. I took it apart and half the crap flew out so I didn't see where it came from.
Thankyou so much for the help man! this totaly fixed the problem. I found my gun a few days ago behind a convience store here in north carolina. I'm guessing some kids were shooting bottles cause there was busted btotles everywhere and then I saw the gun laying there, and later found the bbs for it. I guess whoever had it threw it down because it was leaking air. now I am shooting it, and it works great!
great video, solved my problem first time.i did it in half the steps .open it up remove the case the co2 sits in then remove the fake hammer piece.carefully wiggle out the back peice.teflon the cap, screw it back in ,wiggle it back into position and your done.reasemble the co2 carrier put barrel and bb springs back in and screw it back together.also double up a peice of teflon tape put it over a new co2 and put it in.makes for a perfeclty sealed unit.thanks again for the video.
very helpful video. After watching your video and took my 15xt apart and fixed the leak. I haven't been able to shoot it for over 5 years because of that darn leak. The teflon plumbers tape worked like a dream. Thank you
My gun hadn't been used very much, but it still developed the leak. I followed your videos and got mine fixed perfectly. I used the teflon tape too, and the leak is completely sealed. Thanks a lot!
My Dad gave this to me over Christmas break because of the leak. Figured there was a way to fix and this surely did it. I went the teflon tape route. Someone else suggested using Locktite which I wouldn't recommend as that would prevent further access from the other parts in the gun. Your fix worked like a charm. Thanks!
Great Job, Just borrowed the 15xt to chase squirrels on my property, and guess what happened when I reloaded the co2 cyl, it leaked out of the top of the gun, Followed your instructions it is working fine now, thanks, you saved me from replacing the gun:))
The barrel and loader springs will fly out when the front screw is removed if you don't hold on to the barrel end piece. Make sure to hold onto it as you remove the screw and have the barrel pointed away from you.
I have no idea if it will, but if you can take it apart without losing any pieces and get a good look at where everything goes then it should be a piece of cake to fix.
I have one of these pistols. I like it but it does have an air leak. At the moment it doesn't for some reason and I surmised that this pistol is fitted for certain CO2 cartridges. It's a very complicated gun and I don't like springs popping out everywhere been there done that with carburetors LOL so it looks like if I get into that cylinder and put that plumbing tape on that should stop the leak.
Good idea, I've also thought to use that 3-in-1 oil in the white bottle with a red cap, but actual grease is the best. But on some air guns like the Daisy 105 Buck it actually "asks" for oil. But for something like this, yes, some grease would be best.
My Dad bought me an original Daisy Power line Model 92 CO2 pellet gun in 1987-88 , loads in a tube from the front , that I'm working on fixing at the moment .
If it fits I don't see why not. I know Daisy makes their own CO2 cartridges but I only ever found Crosman cartridges so those were the only ones I ever used. Seems like once I misplaced this pistol and got bored of BB guns I started seeing the Daisy cartridges every time I was in the area lol, figures.
Maybe in some cases, but for me, it was specifically an internal leak. I know that there is a common problem with the CO2 canister leaking around the fitting, but mine has never done that, although I hear the Crossman P10s do that a lot due to dried up seals.
How would I know if my 15XT is leaking CO2? Mine works fine for the most part, but seems to lose its gas power a little too quickly. I also noticed a little bit of moisture or condensation on the inside part of the trigger after firing. Is it leaking?
ok I have 3, now when u take it apart, do springs fly??? or am I ok? I need to lube the trigger. and the insides. also any hints on whats the best lube? thanks for u vid, very helpful......
Mine is discharging the pellets instead of firing them In other words the pellets just fall out of the barrel Is it out of co2 or is my gun fucked? it still fires perfect and its old as hell
I just took the screws out split the gun, tightened the valve screw and put back together in about 5 minutes. Problem solved. You can get to the screw without taking all those parts out.
Regular Teflon made for faucets and other fittings. Could use the yellow stuff for gas application. Next time I might want to use acrylic or silicone sealant.
@illwillification Hmm, I dont own that model, so i'm not sure what help I could offer. I do know however, that if you are gifted with a natural talent for being able to take things apart and put them back together the way they go, then you might be able to fix it. When doing this video, I had only taken my gun apart for the first time 30 min before filming. So if you're like me, you can probably get it on your own. Good luck, and try not to break or lose anything, sometimes I do. :)
Hi George... I just used this video for the 2nd time in 2 years to fix my Daisy Air Gun. As TH3 explains in the video, it is about correcting for the CO2 escaping from the top back end. If your leak is at the puncture pin assembly, there is a small seal there that may need to be replaced. Think you can order it from Daisy for something like 50 cents.
Yup, just as recent as four days ago I had to crack open the very same on in this video to fix the leak that had returned. I don't mind the problem, since I'm able to fix it I shouldn't mind in the first place.
Really Good video, 5/5 But i remember i had some badass co2 Gun when i was about 13, it was leaking.... im not quite sure what happened to it, i dont remember, but i know i was talking about throwing it away, now i feel dumb, but i have a p-10 and a 15xt now just for shooting targets and stuff, Lol thanks for the video Bro' - Lill'Ajaayy
I would say your gun is leaking. For mine, it leaked from the internal tank at the rear,, the most common apparently. I knew because it had gotten so bad that CO2 shot out in a visible stream. It wouldn't hurt to take yours apart and tighten things up, check stuff out, only if you feel comfortable though.
I wasn't going to fiddle with the darn thing, but I was encouraged after watching your video. You have patience I lack too....I would have fixed mine and shot the dog for lack of a better reason. Anyway, thanks for making the vid. Just a suggestion.....you might make up names like BB follower, or balance weight instead of doohicky etc. But you are years ahead of your time my friend and doing fine work...thanks again.
@Wetspraypainties Lol, thats cool. The best stuff is free stuff, especially if its broken, you can fix it and make it your own. I bet if they saw this video they'd regret tossing it aside like that.
LOL. The very first thing I did when I saw your comment was laugh, I am not lying. LOL. But seriously though, what's up dude? Why U Mad? I haven't really done anything to you, at least I don't think so. But it's cool, it really is, no joke, your comment actually made laugh, a lot. So have a nice day dude, hope you feel better. P.S. As a brony I must love and tolerate you and your comment anyway, but my bro would like a word you, his channel is SinisterATX.
Thank you for the comment, as usual, I'm glad this video could help. Yes, the major thing someone needs if they want to do something like this is patience, definitely patience lol. Yep, doohickey was the only thing I could think of at the time. Again, thanks for the comment.
If you know how to take it apart and put it back together you know where or how to find the leak. I repaired my leak. These videos worked great for everyone else to repair their leaks. Glad you enjoyed the sound of my aquarium.

Thank you again,I followed your directions and it fixed it just as good as if i had the manufacturer fix it. Thanks so much!!

thanks for the vid. I did not have a leak, but a jam. Great help in getting it back together.

man,,thank you so much for the video...i never thought that i could put it back together again...thanks a whole lot...really awesome...
Thanks!I was about to trash old Daisy til I found this video.
Thanks, you saved me a lot of cash for a new one. Now to fix the stripped screws.
Good idea, I've also thought to use that 3-in-1 oil in the white bottle with a red cap, but actual grease is the best. But on some air guns like the Daisy 105 Buck it actually "asks" for oil. But for something like this, yes, some grease would be best.

i am still having trouble with the trigger. Is it possible that u can help me with it? Awesome video.
Wow! It worked, I used the Teflon tape and some wd40 and it sealed up n shoots like new, Thanks dude! Great video
Whoa! Now that's the ticket! I might crack mine open once more and perma-fix it with that idea. Thanks for the tip!
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO, I JUST FIXED MY PROBLEM ALSO. YOU SAVED ME DUDE
Can you recommend where I can send my Daisy Powerline 92 for repair? (Leaking CO2)
All I can find is that 15XK is associated with some sort of kit that includes the 15XT, shooting glasses, some CO2, a couple targets, and some BBs.
Can you do one where u fix a trigger
Can you use other brand co2 in the gun
If it fits I don't see why not. I know Daisy makes their own CO2 cartridges but I only ever found Crosman cartridges so those were the only ones I ever used. Seems like once I misplaced this pistol and got bored of BB guns I started seeing the Daisy cartridges every time I was in the area lol, figures.
Fixed mine a year ago with pipe thread sealer and it hasn't leaked since.
Maybe in some cases, but for me, it was specifically an internal leak. I know that there is a common problem with the CO2 canister leaking around the fitting, but mine has never done that, although I hear the Crossman P10s do that a lot due to dried up seals.
@TH3C001 does this work with the P10 Phantom made by crossman?
How would I know if my 15XT is leaking CO2? Mine works fine for the most part, but seems to lose its gas power a little too quickly. I also noticed a little bit of moisture or condensation on the inside part of the trigger after firing. Is it leaking?
Yes
Thx man worked perfect. I just need to open back up to adjust the feeder cause it sticks
ok I have 3, now when u take it apart, do springs fly??? or am I ok? I need to lube the trigger. and the insides. also any hints on whats the best lube? thanks for u vid, very helpful......
What pushes this thing in 10:03 ?
Mine is discharging the pellets instead of firing them In other words the pellets just fall out of the barrel Is it out of co2 or is my gun fucked? it still fires perfect and its old as hell
ive had my gun for 6 years and still going strong. got others from friends that had problomes. funny thing is guns were ok. it was the user.....
Hey man can you put p up part 2
I just took the screws out split the gun, tightened the valve screw and put back together in about 5 minutes. Problem solved. You can get to the screw without taking all those parts out.

You was great. Thank you very helpful
What type of teflon did u use
Regular Teflon made for faucets and other fittings. Could use the yellow stuff for gas application. Next time I might want to use acrylic or silicone sealant.
Its for this gun right? I do have a second part, part 2. Daisy Powerline 15XT CO2 BB pistol leak repair Part 2.
@illwillification Hmm, I dont own that model, so i'm not sure what help I could offer. I do know however, that if you are gifted with a natural talent for being able to take things apart and put them back together the way they go, then you might be able to fix it. My gun just sprays out all the c02 as soon as i tighten it

Is the pup still alive
If it makes a minigun sound when fired. Look if the barrel is clean

Yup! Sounds like what you would do on a rainy day.😁
Really Good video, 5/5
But i remember i had some badass co2 Gun when i was about 13,

Thankyou this helps sooooo much Ily

casi no pega rresio ke nesesito aserle
Mine only lasted through about 5 or 6 CO2 cannisters before it started leaking. The procedure isn't really that hard. Only two tools needed.
I WANT TO BUY THAT PISTOL YOU CALLED SPARE PARTS !
You do not need to pull you gun apart like that, the problem is the seal around the co2 bottle.
Thanks great video fix my bb gun
WD-40 is an oil not a lubricant. The best thing to use would be something like lithium grease
@Wetspraypainties Lol, thats cool. The best stuff is free stuff, especially if its broken, you can fix it and make it your own. I bet if they saw this video they'd regret tossing it aside like that.
Why so many hater in this comment section? also thanks for the vid.
Excelent thanks you

Dude! I have the exact same gun with the exact same problem -SMH- !!
Well, I'd open it up like in this video, carefully, and lube all the moving parts with WD-40 or 3-in-1 oil and close it back, then see what happens.
Yeah, still not offended :) Actually, you're pretty funny, keep it up dude.
@deante1876 Sure, I'll have a video up as soon as I can. If you subscribe then you should be informed of it as soon as I get it uploaded. Thanks.

I'm 4 minutes in are you ever going to show us how to fix it or are you just going to talk about the screws and talk to your dog
Thought this was how to fix leaking CO2. Not how to take your gun apart and put it back together. Good God. BTW. I think you left your bathtub running
If you know how to take it apart and put it back together you know where or how to find the leak. I repaired my leak. These videos worked great for everyone else to repair their leaks. Glad you enjoyed the sound of my aquarium.
