32yrs ago I used this video to fix my grandson's gun. This time he was going to fix it himself, which he promptly abandoned when he got it opened. He & I used your video to put it back together and now you're the big hero, good job! Tip for others who are trying to fix a 15xt, use the thread tape it's the only thing that works long term and good luck! Thanks again!
OK. First I wrote to Daisy and asked for help with my leak. They sent me 2 gaskets. An extra one if I ever needed it I guess. It was to put in where the top co2 tank connects to the gun. I did so & gun It still leaks. Thanks to your two videos I put some Teflon tape on the silver cylinder screw. Viola, it no longer leaks. I would have never attempted to take the gun apart without the help of these two videos. So I thank you Very much. Thanks again for putting these video's on RUclips.
I was going through some stuff while cleaning and found this Powerline 15XT from at least 10 years ago and I tried to shoot it but it was leaking the gas, and I was going to dump it when I found this video and said “why not try to fix it” and after 1+ hrs…. I was shooting again in my backyard. Thanks for uploading this video
YOU just saved my Grandsons life after avisit from Florida I let Him use the pistola, He quit ely put away and the left after His visit, when I wanted to use the gun the co2 leak appeared' was really angry thinking He had broken it with poor use, Thanks
Dude, you are the man! I put a lot of time into painting my bb gun and was mad it broke but I fixed it with the help of these 2 videos. Thank you so much. I liked and subscribed for the awesomeness. I had to assemble it a few times before it all worked but I'm happy now
Thank you so much for the video. I was going to throw away the pile of parts I made when trying to fix the bb loading spring and couldn't get it all back together. Thank you for taking the time to make this video, I can now have some fun with this gun again. You are the man.
You are the man!! I called Daisy and they sent me a replacement seal but it didn't fix the problem. It was just as you described. I could not have done this without your help. Thanks!!
Great find on how to fix my 15XT model. I was ready to go by another one but figured someone must know what is wrong with my bb gun. The only thing about this video is that you made it longer then it needed to be. I removed only two parts after the gun was open. Besides that this video did the job and saved me money. Good stuff.
so i read a couple of your comments but it was the first one that made me go thought with this it said that after watching you do this i did it and everything worked great plus i never thought i could have put this back together but i did and mine has been working great thank you but please do get a better camera cus i would love to see more videos and maybe a lamp next to you to so everyone can see little spots where it lines up but i loved all your help
This totally worked. Thanks! My Daisy was on the shelf for a couple years - man, I forgot how much kick it's got! Happy to resurrect it just in time for spring.
Thanks for the video! I just fixed my Daisy after about a year to thinking about it! LOL I actually did both seals put Teflon tape on the main cylinder inside and then I also took the seal out where the cartridge inserts into (was trying to check to see if it was messed up but I think I may have messed it up in the process if it wasn't) but I wrapped it in Teflon tape and inserted it back in making sure to puncture a hole in the middle for the CO2 port. Reassembled it & holy shit it actually worked!!! Putting the trigger back together was a little tricky with the springs and whatnot but thanks for the video because using it as a reference it definitely helped!!!
Good job on the video, it worked for me on the same issue. I had a time figuring out where to put the springs on re-assembly since all 5 poped out and I did not expect it, but it took about 30 minutes total. PS you can use lock tite on the air chamber to prevent it from coming loose again. Thanks
Cool video man it was not very clear but it sure help me put my 5170 back together too bad it wasn't a little bit more clear and it would have been excellent Thanks for making the video
No problem at all. As I've said to others, this problem is easily repairable. No one has to spend their money and get another, if you are mechanicly inclined anything is repairable and never replaceable.
Hey dude it's Alex from Jimmy's class. This is so weird. I busted my brothers BB gun and I was like man I should RUclips it. So I'm watching your video and I'm like damn this guy sounds familiar. Then I saw your animation tests and I was like yup it's him.
Well I’m pretty sure this is the video I’ve been looking for... it’s already after 9pm so I’ll be trying this fix in the AM! Pray for me RUclips... there’s a high probability of choice language throughout the day!🤞🏼
It might be come lose because of the pressure. Do you think maybe you could use sold solder on it to keep it from coming lose again. I mean just a few drops to keep it in place.
Yes, it is. It's from 2009, and the program I used to put the film together made everything fuzzy. I am actually considering redoing all of this one day.
@tgoody100 The small chubby one goes in the bottom of the block that fits on the barrel where the BBs feed into. The taller skinny one Fits in the cylindrical air tank that the CO2 cartridge plugs into. I believe the spring you say I mentioned was the one inside the air tank that the skinny brass piece fits into. The spring action is used when you pull the trigger, the catch slips from the barrel, and the large black spring that fits around the barrel slams the barrel into the the small skinny
I stupidly left a CO2 capsule in my 15XT and it naturally destroyed the seals so it leaked whenever I put in a new capsule. I followed your instructions and took it apart, wrapped some Teflon around the threads on the cap of the large cylindrical part. I put it back together following Part 2 of your video. No parts were left over. Now, it no longer leaks, but it won't fire because I can't make the trigger move back. Any suggestions?
Hello there . My Daysy 93 Beretta style after firing with maintenance cartridge the after the second normal cartridge started to leak so much from the upper side of the gun.
Hey I had the same problem and I took mine apart but the chamber is too tight I can't even get the cap off. I've already done some damage to it so I doubt I'll be able to get it off. Do you think applying a sealant around the top of it will be effective? It's called fas-weld I believe it's supposed to create an air tight seal. I'm also thinking of applying super glue around the crease to improve the seal.
I like your Videos, but i have a big question; Is posible traquing the cilinder you seal for much more power output. Creat this video. It is very interesting. Thank
Thanks, Mine started leaking last night. I thought it was a gasket missing or blown at the CO2 cartridge place. Now I know it was an easier problem, but really time consuming because of flaky Daisy engineering.
Thank you very much for the actual constructive feedback, instead of just complaining. Yes, I want a new HD camera, I just don't know when I'll be getting one. I'm glad this helped, it's what I try to do.
The so-called weight thing is a counterweight. A necessary item needed for balance of the BB gun pistol. Everything in a BB gun is very important and necessary for operating it properly.
good night Friend, my pistol daisy 15XT (vazando).A my question would be, when I disassemble the pistol that part I put some sealant? Which product to use? I'd like to put the product without having to disassemble the gun to stop the leak co2 would seal without disassembling? thanks for reading.
As far as I know you can only get them from another gun, new, used, broken. I had two of these guns, both got the leak, but one was new and the other was almost destroyed except for internal parts, so I saved it as a scrapper. If I needed some parts without having another gun I would look around online to see if such a thing is possible.
I know I am way late but by any chance do you know what size the O ring is for the co2 compartment? My O ring came out when a cartridge got stuck and now as soon as I put a new cartridge in, it punctures the top and then just leaks til it's empty. ALL I need is a new O ring but can't get to it to measure it lol
I have the same model , mine leaks the tank off really quick at the pierce point when installing the new tank , do you know what the problem is. I cleaned the piercing area and used three new tanks trying. No luck so far.
Its been many many years since I ever used or messed with this particular air pistol, however I remember there is a transparent rubber gasket that sits up in there, around the piercing and is supposed to seal at the top of the cartridge. I would guess yours is missing or damaged due to age or use. I honestly wouldn't know how to repair that, however if I had to I'd probably try using an RTV silicone from an auto parts store and try dabbing some in with a tooth pick to recreate that gasket or buy some cork gasket material (also available at auto parts stores) and drill out a tiny hole for the piercing point and try to cut it to fit up in there. Hope this helps.
At :51 there's a little brass piece but i have two that look like that. A small chubby on and a taller skinny on, which do i use and you said something about a spring?
Is the barrel supposed to move when being fired? After reassembly, my barrel slides in and out as the trigger is pulled. I don't remember it doing that before, but can't figure out if I just overlooked it or if I assembled something wrong.
If you turn the safety 180 degrees the gun will not be able to shoot. I've never held a C02 gun before so it took me forever to figure it out. I thought that I had lost a part so I spent most of the time looking for it.
i have 2 of these and in the last couple weeks both leaked. i temporarily solved the problem with no disassembly and just a little 3 in 1 household oil and some vasoline around the pin area tha t punctures the co2. now they're both leaking again. any suggestions? from the video it looks like the seal is way inside. but my leak seems to be coming from right around the pin unless im wrong. any input would be appreciated. thans in advance
+vito montalto I know this is along time later, but if you contact Daisy, they will send you the seal you need for free (the seal that seals the lip of the CO2 tank)
I had the same problem initially that little spring was the culprit make sure it's sitting back in the frame and where the trigger mechanism sits you got to make sure those pins are lined up in the holes. It was a little tricky it was the one thing that held me up a bit
That sounds like the piece that feeds the BBs down the tube, it pushes the BBs loaded in the top of the pistol toward the receiver, there should be a long spring behind it so it can force the BBs along.
Pretty much like everyone else has said, you probably just need to take it apart again and take a second look. Sometimes the springs are reinstalled wrong, or aren't in the right spot.
Okay everyone if your having the problem where your weapon will not disperse a round or click at all. Then you must opwn it back up and turn the safety pin 180 degrees and it should now be okay and once again be operational.
My grandkids had trouble with pushing the safety on when trying to shoot right handed. So i turned it around backwards and now they shoot without accidentally pushing the safety on...

This is second time doing this (tho I was using auto sealant semi -permanent/flexible trying same way ..if fails again will likely do what should have done use sealant around plastic do dad and pipe tape for threads ... also need to take them seriously TO NOT LEAVE PRESSURIZED CO 2 WHEN NOT USING .....
hi i saw a video of a powerline you were disambling i need one replace for mi xt15 and i wonder if you could sell it to me and send it? is this one :you have in your hands in the minute 1:21 of this video so please i hope you can help me i cant find it anywere thanks from uruguay francis
You should re-do this vid with better camera focus and better lighting and try to use the correct part names and show every step correctly. For example I got the safety in backwards because I couldn't see what you were doing and you zipped right through it. It is possible to get some of these parts in backwards or reversed if you've never done this before. Otherwise, thanks.
@blackjacksv its very tricky, there are a few springs that push the trigger back to where it was. the main one that is right at the trigger is tricky to get back in place, but you'll know when it gets back.
Yea actually after I posted that comment like a couple hours later I found out I put the safety on wrong lol. But now it's leaking again so I'll have to do it all over again.
guys be careful that plastic is fragile as hell, a small piece behind the bb feed plunger broke off now the bb's wont feed down and jam. live and learn
i canot put the trigger together and my father never has time to help me on anything is it possible i can send it to u and then u can put it together for me am willing to pay AND ALL TAKE CARE OF THE SHIPPING FEE!!! PLEASE RESPOND THE SOONER THE BETTER...

Character design
Thanks for the tutorial.. I had it all good except the direction of the trigger spring.
hey , thank you for posting this, im about to test it out, did the leak fix (minus the pipe tape, havnt got any) but wish me luck

It might be come lose because of the pressure. Do you think maybe you could use sold solder on it to keep it from coming lose again. I mean just a few drops to keep it in place.
Thank you, fixed it. However I did not take the whole gun apart but just carefully took the broken part out.
hi i don't know if you answered this before but: there is a form to reduce the useless noise this gun makes?
THanks for your time ;)
Yes, it is. It's from 2009, and the program I used to put the film together made everything fuzzy. I am actually considering redoing all of this one day.

this video saved my crosman c41 and i'm pretty sure this fix will work on any airgun.

You're welcome. I knew this would help a lot of people.
I don't think solder would hurt it. I haven't tried it, but it could work, it's not like it's being spot welded or anything.

where does the trigger spring go? when i took my gun apart it shot out immediatly. so i dont know where it goes
Thanks bro totally fixed mine
Can you recommend where I can send my Daisy Powerline 92 for repair? (Leaking CO2)

Hey man i followed all your instructions for the same exact gun. The leak stopped but now it wont fire at all, any suggestions?
Is the barrel supposed to move when being fired? After reassembly, my barrel slides in and out as the trigger is pulled. I don't remember it doing that before, but can't figure out if I just overlooked it or if I assembled something wrong.
it was a crude old video but it helped. i used plumber seal liquid.
HI, I put my gun back together but the trigger goes back too far after the first shot. Do you know what might be the problem?
If you turn the safety 180 degrees the gun will not be able to shoot. I've never held a C02 gun before so it took me forever to figure it out. I thought that I had lost a part so I spent most of the time looking for it.

try again, one thing i think worked better is that i used teflon paste, put it on and around seal, threads etc. worked awesome no leaks!
Thank you, excellant vids for the 15xt....
I did exactly like on the video, but now the trigger won't work.
make shure the safety is turned the right way...
I had the same problem initially that little spring was the culprit make sure it's sitting back in the frame and where the trigger mechanism sits you got to make sure those pins are lined up in the holes. It was a little tricky it was the one thing that held me up a bit
where to do i put the springs exactly like where ow what do they attach to
I for some reaskn have a left over piece its a small black piece it has a ball thats attstched to circular ring where does it go 😭
That sounds like the piece that feeds the BBs down the tube, it pushes the BBs loaded in the top of the pistol toward the receiver, there should be a long spring behind it so it can force the BBs along.

now that its fixed, i bet your dog thinks twice before he gets out of line. lol
well i got the leak stopped but i misaligned something the bb's wont feed
hi i saw a video of a powerline you were disambling i need one replace for mi xt15 and i wonder if you could sell it to me and send it? is this one :you have in your hands in the minute 1:21 of this video
so please i hope you can help me i cant find it anywere
thanks from uruguay
francis
Hey thanks helped allot
@TH3C001 piece and lets a burst of CO2 out to fire the BB. A long answer, but hopefully a clear and explanatory one. Let me know if this helps.
You should re-do this vid with better camera focus and better lighting and try to use the correct part names and show every step correctly. For example I got the safety in backwards because I couldn't see what you were doing and you zipped right through it. It is possible to get some of these parts in backwards or reversed if you've never done this before. Otherwise, thanks.
can you upload a better quality video of just the assembly, please
thanks worked for me
@blackjacksv its very tricky, there are a few springs that push the trigger back to where it was. the main one that is right at the trigger is tricky to get back in place, but you'll know when it gets back.
good info got me started. i did one bet
My gun won't fire, the trigger gets stuck.
hey i do all of what i saw in your video and i still have that leak.
It work just fine thank you so much but your camera was not so good
Mine was leaking too so I just took the part from a different gun
thanks man
Yea actually after I posted that comment like a couple hours later I found out I put the safety on wrong lol. But now it's leaking again so I'll have to do it all over again.
hey i took my gun apart as i watch your video and put it back togetherit dont make that clicking sound when you pull the trigger
guys be careful that plastic is fragile as hell, a small piece behind the bb feed plunger broke off now the bb's wont feed down and jam. live and learn
So mutch tks bro :D
i canot put the trigger together and my father never has time to help me on anything is it possible i can send it to u and then u can put it together for me am willing to pay AND ALL TAKE CARE OF THE SHIPPING FEE!!! PLEASE RESPOND THE SOONER THE BETTER...
lol it might be your computer screen buddy because I can see crystal clear.
Lol, yup, it happens.
Not that I know of, sorry.
i know i had to do the same shit .-.
I'm sorry but i can't.
Where do the trrigger springs go im lost you didnt show how to! Bad vid....
