This Build Final is a 9-11 tribute build of the AMT 1972 Chevy Nova SS Pro Stocker 1:25th scale.

Wow! Came out super cool great tribute always loved the old pro kit those rear springs part are spring shackles from back in the day of covered wagons as leave springs go back that far. 911 we will never forget!!

@@carouselofcrazychrisb did you have any fender fit issues? I just built an original issue of the kit and the passenger side fender need major finessing. I'm curious if the latest version is better.
I had to do some sanding around the A Pillar to make it fit better. I wouldnt say it was a bad fit, just needed that finessing. My biggest mistake was I didn't use the hood as a guide and it messed up the alignment of the front bumper
@@carouselofcrazychrisb thanks for the reply, I have a second kit from early 2000s but I haven't gotten the latest issue yet. Regardless, it's the kit that made me fall in love with Novas.
The novas are cool cars, I'm more toward the late 70s

Saw those decals and ideas started to form. Knew I had wanted to do something a little different, I hope that I did it justice. Hard subject to tackle.

Thanks, Mike. The fenders are a bitch to fit them together but other than that it was a decent build. I'd like to do another in stock

Like what you did with it! I built that same model a couple of years ago. I built mine like on the box, though. I did it as a tribute to my brother who died shortly before from COPD. He had built the same model years earlier.
Sorry about your brother. I feel like a 70s Nova is a good tribute car, lotta people owned them, hits closer to home.

You did a good job, I like the theme. This kit builds as a stock version better than a pro stock but I like the three piece tunnel ram and other parts for kit bashing.

I like the military theme you went with on this kit. I appreciate your thoughts on the kit as well. I have not been building for some years now. Currently I am working of Revells 1976 chevy monte carlo. This is a good looking car. 👍
Thank you. It was a hard subject to tackle. My dad once took the 76 Monte kit and backdated it to the 75. I'd still love to try that kit!! Wish you the best getting back into the building!!!!!

Nice build! The car looks amazing! I'm considering building model cars myself, but the models cost as much as $20 or more. It seems that model cars have gotten more expensive over the years.
Thanks for watching and writing, really do appreciate that. The kits go from about $20 on up. The hobby shop I go to they are about 35. Try Hobby Lobby when they have the 40percent off sale.

Your front tires and rear tires are way out of line they're not always test fit everything before you glue everything together I am building the Chevy Nova right now and so far I'm not having any problem I used a 68 Chevy Camaro chassis so far everything looks good and I also use the rally wheels from the Camaro
