Coach Lee, where the gravity of the body should be placed when doing this step one? In the center of the body or in one of the feet?
It should be centre of the body. That way you will be able to change to any direction. Lee

why is it necessary to do those side to side steps right before you do the step 1. Can you just stand still then do the step 1?
