United 777 - Takeoff on Runway 28R from Chicago's O'Hare Intl Airport - ORD (3 or 4)

- In this clip we are departing on Chicago's- ORD Runway 28R - Chicago's O'Hare Intl Airport aboard a United Airlines Boeing 777. Listen to the engine roar on these internationally configured Pratt and Whitney PW4090 engines.
These Boeing 777-200's were configured in a 3 class cabin with an 8 across business class seats (Rear and forward facing seats) - I don't' believe United still operates this type of 3 class cabins anymore as they've been configured with the new Polaris business class.

I used to think United and AA work in close partnership with each other, like they would loan pilots, mechanics and flight attendants out to each other if one of those two airlines became short handed.

This sounds exactly like GE90 when taking off. I thought the PW was higher pitched
GE-90 has a MUCH louder howling sound. Pratt and Whitney has a quieter howl and a buzzsaw sound
I’m not sure if this right or not but the sound of the engine it sounds like the B777-2
Correct. It says the details in the description. Its a 777-200 equipped with the PW4000
This is the domestic route configuration, primary for travel to and from Hawai`i.
Maximum crammitude class. Not reliable units either. I avoid flying on the -222A’s.
Agreed - i enjoyed it when it was 3-3-3, but when it comes to 3-4-3 the boarding and deplaning experience became a nightmare. Although i do miss the old school recliner seats, i had a chance to fly that from Guam to Tokyo.
@@HDNYCAviation I'm not a fan of "leisure class" where there are also no TV's or IFE units. Screw having to bring my own device unless it's a short flight. Definitely "low rent" configuration.
