This was my favorite too. Also SNES. And when I saw this video, I'll admit I thought I wouldn't learn anything and only opened it for the nostalgia... but I didn't know ANY of what was shown!
I definitely did know some of these, but surprisingly some of them were new info to me! I bet I've got a few things about this game you didn't know yourself, like did you know within the game there's unfinished data for another set of characters of 16 characters? Even crazier in the Japanese version they have Jobs much like the main cast, but those jobs are actually named after the gods from the Glorantha TTRPG setting! Still though that merged magic/item menu thing was crazy! I thought I knew all the major glitches in this game but that one blew my mind open, I'd never seen it before lol
Huh that is a pretty cool fact! There's a ton of really cool glitches the game has and speedrunning has shown me not only what they are but how to use them effectively which I think is super cool
This was awesome! I've been binging your content, keep up the good work. I knew a lot of these from Bichphuongballz speed runs! One I was surprised wasn't on the list was using rippler on shadow to transfer the interceptor status! Great list!
Let's hope Goggles as a weapon makes it into Dissidia 3. You know, the real Dissidia 3. The one that's totally going to come out and surprise us out of nowhere, right after that Dissidia 1/2 remaster collection that is definitely coming very, very soon.
I remember the game would freeze at some point in the Phoenix Cave when I used Sketch with Relm. Not sure about the specifics, but I replicated it a few times as a kid... just not on purpose.
This was a nice list, i'm pretty well versed in FF3/6 (or so I thought lol) and I only knew 3 of these. I'm surprised you only have 628 (now 629) subs, keep it up you have alot of potential!
I knew about the Moogles, but that's about it in this list. There's 15 character slots, and story events will have them swapped. Biggs (Vicks) and Wedge's data get replaced by Moogles, using certain glitches it's possible to have them back in your team. Same with any character that temporarily join your team, such as Maduin, Leo, Gesthalt and Kefka, due to some battles where they appear, even if you don't actually control them. Using some glitches you can get them in your team, but they will disappear again when you try to change the party on the airship. Old games like this had coding limits for size, so they didn't have lots of checks to make sure things are done properly. They mostly just assume you played the game normally. So skipping specific events does not setup the proper character, like Celes here, and the game does nothing to correct it later on. At least until another event forces it to happen anyway, like World of Ruin recruitment. Coding limits also means that the game just does whatever with what's in the memory/data. So when you get Kefka or Maduin for example, they are missing sprites, like for riding chocobos, or certain attacks that you get from using some accessories. It's pretty interesting stuff when you look into that.
One thing I recently learned about is if you steal the merchant or solider clothes in lockes scenario then do the glitch to skip celes, locke just wears that costume for quite some time. Pretty funny to see. Bouncing on the idea of the game not checking things haha
Great video. I actually didn't know about the Lete River manipulation and Goggle weapon. I know someone else said it, but it's always disappointing when you already know everything in a video like this lol

@@bahamutskingdom Why not record these on your website then when it was active? @@dynenuitari8930 su re. You get me the rom/emulator version, or purchase me a copy on a system that can record it. I have my snes ps1 and gba copies. None of those systems record.
Welp i guess not every video is for everyone. Side note, only half of them are glitches, rest are manipulations or just a bug. Hope you still learned something :)
Encounter skip suggestions, such as explicitly or implicitly described in 1-4 make specific rages unobtainable for Gau. The encounters needed to learn specific rages are only found in those locations and most can't be obtained later. The Lete River is obtainable later, but is still eventually missable. If you're doing a version with achievements, and you want the All-Rages achievement, you need to find 6 enemies that aren't in the bestiary, and dozens of missable encounters! There are 4 encounters where you have exactly once chance to get them, and if you don't get them, you can't get the rage or the achievement. I didn't know about the glitches, so 5-6 were new for me!
A lot of these I've learned from speedrunning so missing encounters is actually ideal lol. But you're right, you will miss out if you're going for 100%!
