    Sad to see all this. I went there in October 2023. I have not purchased sim card from airport. I went to city by bus number 86. Paid just 200 tenge. Which i have withdrawn outside airport ATM. Purchased sim card in almaty city for 1000 tenge, which worked for 10 days. I have not used much internet. Just 2gis maps. I travel by bus and yandex taxi. Never i felt unsafe during my journey of three cities. Almaty Astana and Shymkent with Turkistan.

    while giving the details about the apps or hotels you stayed , kindly mention it in the description. Though it's not a sponsored video it is helpful to others. Otherwise video was full of required content. Saved it😀

    Hello,
    Upon arrival at Almaty Airport do indian passport holders need to full in migration cards ? Do they get stamped ?
    How about registration? They do it at hotels right ? Can we get a receipt that we were registered as a foreigner ?
    Let me know please.
    Thanks.

    It was unfortunate it happened to you. You didn't mention that after your article published in Pune pulse, the kazakh authorities took notice and the taxi scammer is arrested and inside bars. Do you think this kind of promp action will take place in India in similar condition? No it won't. Ladies are raped on front of their partners. Two wrongs don't make right. Kazakhstan is one of the safest places for women. I have lived their for more than 7 years and a frequent traveler.

      I recorded this video way before the authorities took action and there is no point in comparing 2 countries and asking what Indian authorities might have done and what Kazakhstan authorities did. I faced an incident, I shared it and also mentioned that I loved Kazakhstan overall and this once incident unfortunately happened in Kazakhstan but could have happened anywhere. There is nothing more to add here!

      @@prashantovich You tightly said, except these Taxi walas people of Kazakhstan are very nice sober and lovely.

      It is also unfortunate that people like you have the mentality to defame our own country just to praise a foreign one, despite being Indian. Can you guarantee that all 1.96 crore people in Kazakhstan don’t want to scam or hurt you? There will always be 1% of people (everywhere in the world) who live by scamming and wrongdoing, and she is simply trying to make us aware of that. Instead of getting into such uncomfortable, scammy situations like she did, she is helping us avoid them. She’s also helping to improve the image of Kazakhstan, making it seem like a more friendly and amazing place. I can guarantee that, to this day, taxi drivers at the airport are still scamming tourists, but this doesn’t define Kazakhstan or its people. There’s no need for such a harsh comparison between the two countries.

    The background sound is loud, reduce it a bit, place the background sound at the right place, this will make your video much better, this is just a suggestion 😊

    The reviews for NIYO are very bad…how is your personal experience with NIYO global? Many people have put in reviews that they are not able to withdraw their money.

    • @komalified
      @komalified  3 месяца назад

      I have used NIYO in all 6 countries I have traveled so far and I have had good experience. There are some issues during night sometimes when the server is down and there is no prior information about this. I use NIYO for online transactions but also keep cash handy.
