    Wonderful and very informative!! Some queries :
    1) These Lakes and Canyon Trips from Almaty include lot of hiking/walking? or there is an alternative option to reach in front? Because I need to carry a 3 yrs old with me.
    2) When and where I can see both snow and fall colour in KZ? What is the best time to visit? some snow will be great for my kid
    3) I want to Visit Tamgaly Petroglyphs, Taraz, Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve, Turkistan - what are the options how we can travel to these places from Almaty?
    4) Is there any Direct and cheap flight to India from Turkistan Airport / Shymkent International Airport ?
    5) How to book flight and trains from India which has Tenge only pay option?
    An other contact no related to stay or car drive will be helpful

      @mrsdaakustudio  5 месяцев назад

      1. Not really, it’s not much. For the lakes, you can reach pretty close by with car, buses or their own local options. Kolsai 2 can be done on horses. The canyon is either a walk or an open bus. It’s all doable.
      2. You can do that in Almaty itself. There is medeu which is a year round ice arena. The best time to visit is during June to September when the weather is pleasant. We went in October and it was good too but it does start to get cold.
      3. You need to remember Kazakhstan is a huge country and it takes time to travel from one part to another. Your options are: trains, buses and flights. We took trains and they are super comfortable.
      4. You can find cheap flight options on kiwi.com
      5. Why do you want tenge only pay options? For trains, use the official website to book trains in Kazakhstan and that will charge in tenge.
      6. Stay options you can find in the video. For cab - which area are you looking at

    Thanks for the lovely information.I had a few queries. 1) Can i use SBI Credit card for ATM Withdrawl. If yes then what will be the charges 2) Are there Indian/Pakistani supermarkets that sell jira,haldi,red mirchi etc.3) Also are 12 days enough or too much too cover whole of Almaty?

    • @mrsdaakustudio
      @mrsdaakustudio  3 месяца назад

      Hey Viv, thanks for watching.
      1. I haven’t used SBI so I cannot detail that. I used Citibank, and I covered the conversion in the video. You should speak with your bank to understand what they will charge.
      2. I think you should be able to grab the spices, but I cannot be sure. In Almaty, there are lots of Indian restaurants and Indian people though - so I am guessing it might be available.
      3. 12 days are more than enough for just Almaty. You should look at covering near by areas like saty, altynemel, shymkent etc. you can check saty here - ruclips.net/video/HdXKtV6yuSc/видео.htmlsi=XFXJJ9c4qfWqUDhn

      Airports will be expensive, get out to the city and buy it from any local shops or markets. It’s cheaper, and I mean it - it’s way cheaper!

    Hi Chhavi,
    I was booking trains from almaty to shymkent before boarding our flight to almaty. It’s asking for telephone number. How did you manage this one from india?

  • @ishikabanerjee2955
    @ishikabanerjee2955 2 месяца назад

    Hey while booking the train tickets from the website did you have to provide with a local phone number, it's asking me to do that, also is there any other website that you would recommend for booking the tickets from shymkent to almaty

    Will we be allowed to enter Kazakhstan again after visiting Uzbekistan or we have to take the flight from Tashkent itself??

    • @mrsdaakustudio
      @mrsdaakustudio  3 месяца назад

      We did that, we went to Almaty first, crossed borders via land, travelled to Tashkent-Uzbekistan and then took a train from Tashkent to Almaty. Kazakhstan is visa free for Indians, so you can enter as many times. For Uzbekistan, however, you can get single entry or multple entry visa depending on your plans

    Are there hotels in Aksu-Zhabagly? How long is it from Almaty?

    • @mrsdaakustudio
      @mrsdaakustudio  2 месяца назад

      I am not sure of hotels, we stayed at this guest house that I speak about - Ruslans and recommend it all the way. Aksu is far away, you can take a train to Tulkubas and ask Ruslans for the rest of the intructions OR you can take a train to Shymkent, take a bus to Tulkubas and go from there.
