    Hello seen your videos about traveling to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Me and my wife (both plus 60) planning to visit both. If it’s not a bother to you can discuss about this in detail whenever it’s convenient to you. We both are permanently residing in Chandigarh. Thanks for your wonderful videos for tips about stays and what apps to use while travelling to Central Asia.

    Hi Chhavi, two friends and I are planning a trip to Almaty this June. Your youtube videos have been super helpful. 👌
    I was wondering if Aider, the friendly driver you mentioned, would agree to takes us to Charyn canyon, Kaindy lake, spend a night in Saty, and then take us the next day to Kolsai Lakes (where we are planning to stay at Kolsay nomads). Will that be too expensive? Since you mentioned how arranging a transportion especially around Saty and all can be difficult, we were thinking of taking the driver everywhere we go (1night stayover at Saty, 1 night stay over at Kolsay nomads).
    I was also wondering if we have to arrange his accommodation for the night stays.

      I am not sure if he will agree to spend a night at Saty. The days he was with us, he would go back at nights. Asking him to stay at night will add to the cost, but you can have a conversation with him. I still believe there is no point asking him to stay at night.. if you need that, you should instead hire a car and get an IDP beforehand. That would be more comfortable and cheaper. You can find Aider's number in this video -ruclips.net/video/HdXKtV6yuSc/видео.html
      If you decide to speak with him, tell him Amit and Chhavi say hi :)

      Isn't there a public transport from Almaty to Saty? Also can tours be booked from Saty itself? Which guesthouse within Saty will you recommend? I am traveling with Wife on 9th May. We will need a room with attached toilet.

      @@brahmaguptapatil4552 i have spoken about public transport in the video. The only way is to take those 3 modes of transport or hire a car. ruclips.net/video/HdXKtV6yuSc/видео.html
      You can book tours from saty, but you will lack options - Almaty has more travel agencies and organisers to do this for you. In any case, i recommend doing it on your own because tours are expensive.
      I am not sure about an attached toilet, but you can speak with a few. there is an A frame you can find on airbnb/booking.com - thats more of a hotel so it should fit your requirements.

    Any reason to book from MMT & not directly from Air Astana website? Also just checked aiastana. Their by default selection has 8 Kgs hand baggage and 23 Kgs check in baggage?

    • @mrsdaakustudio
      @mrsdaakustudio  3 месяца назад

      Nah, no reason. It was almost the same and mmt came with travel insurance at the same price. So picked that. We only had cabin luggage, 10 kgs each. I have covered that in the video.

      Hi Vinayak, the only documents we carried were the flight tickets and passport. You do not need anything else for Kazakhstan.
