You can hear the warmth of the sun on the porch here! This has got to be one of my favourite Justin Johnson videos ive seen and thats saying something!!
I keep coming back to this video, which was one of the first videos I saw when I "discovered" Justin entirely by accident. I love seeing L.A. behind him, as he's sitting there on the patio. I spent a lot of years in that town and I often miss those days of hanging out with other creatives. Now, as for the guitar, this is one of those guitars that started me getting interested in electric guitars, in addition to acoustics. Aside from the awesome look of it, with the horse head and all that (which is a running theme of mine, having been a rider my whole life until I became disabled) this guitar has a much more "full" sound than I would have anticipated, if I had just seen it standing in the music corner of my home. It is a real surprise. Of course, Justin could turn almost anything into an instrument and have it sound good, his talent is so extreme. It SOUNDS effortless, the way he plays it, but even I, a complete rank amateur, can clearly see the work that has gone into his career. I have nothing but respect for this young man, and I suspect that, before long, his star is going to hit its zenith.
My boy friend, whom stays here in the mountains of WV is Justin’s cousin. He introduced me to his music and I absolutely went Gaga! This whole family is so musically talented. I can’t imagine Justine sitting on my log home big front porch playing this music. Justin, you are def invited to my farm. Horses, chickens, dogs everywhere and right outside Watoga State Park. The Hillsboro and Seebert area. No one around but the mountains. Lord your music would move the mountains. I’m thankful I was introduced to such talent. May have to buy the horse guitar. I have a beautiful solid black American Quarter Horse I trail ride everywhere. Life is good, simple and your music is so uplifting. Congratulations on all your success.
