- This is my Mum's morning and evening skincare regimen including LED devices and NuFace microcurrent routine. Jan uses some luxury products that can easily be exchanged for more budget friendly options without majorly hindering the end results. The only item missing in this video is the Niod FECC which she has recently ran out of. This would have been applied just prior to the Niacinamide Serum in the morning, and just prior to the moisturiser in the evening.

Just a quick update…one of my amazing subscribers has just made me aware that the Klairs Soft Airy SPF was unfortunately one of those SPF’s caught up in the Protection rating scandal a few months ago. The lab results showed a protection factor of between 12.5 - 24 and not the SPF 50 advertised on the bottle. I apologise for not realising this sooner and will be replacing my mum’s SPF tomorrow. The SPF I will order will be Paula’s Choice Resist Anti-Aging 50+ moisturiser. I will be removing the KLAIRS product and will link the Paula’s Choice option in the description box instead. So sorry for the misinformation, and thank you once again to the Subscriber who brought this to my attention. Xxx

I’ve been doing dedicated skin care for about a year. I’m 66 and what has helped, in order, is tretinoin (from Curology in the US), Current body face mask and neck/décolleté, CeraVe PM moisturizer. Sun screen every day. Your mom is lovely!

I’m almost 58 (Friday!) and I’ve had a NuFace Trinity for 2 years now. I can vouch for it making a difference in my facial tone and skin’s appearance. I would love to invest in the LED mask, but for now, I use the LED attachment for the NuFace - it takes more time, but again, so worth it!

I’m 66 and my routine is almost identical to Jan’s. I use the Current body mask and Nuface. I use Aloe Vera gel as I also found the Nuface gel too expensive. I agree that these appliances have made the biggest improvement to my skin.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would be happy to watch Gemma and Jan even if they were just sitting eating their dinner! They both have such a lovely relationship and they give us all the benefit of their experiences. We are all different ages on here, all have different budgets, different needs and come from different parts of the world. We all come back time after time to see what nuggets of info we can get from Gemma and even help/chat to others on here who we have never even met. She does her best to try and please us all. Great seeing Jan and i really do notice a difference in her skin tone and texture. I really think I would be one of those people that wouldn't be committed to using a device so for that reason that's just me being honest with myself. Keep it up Jan. It's working for you!
And by knowing yourself you’ve just saved yourself a fortune. No point in wasting a truck load of cash for it to sit in the box under your bed. My mum loves her nuface. I don’t have the time or the patience. I do love my LED mask though, but I don’t use that as often as I should. Xxx

When I started using the NuFace I used it every day. I’m now in my month 10 and now only use it for 4 days a week. It’s still effective.
Well, the products used and the time spent certainly seemed to make a difference, well done, keep it up. I realise I just rush over to apply my products and I do not use all that much SPF and have already stopped using it, I hate it, and I live in a much hotter country. Yes, I certainly enjoyed seeing your mum, hi. Very helpful too.
LOVED seeing your mom. She has beautiful coloring as do you. Sunscreen providers should provide professional sizes like a quart or 1/2 gallon! Hair products for Salons offer professional sizing options. I certainly understand the enjoyment of a specially scented cream in the bed time ritual. Great job gals!
Hi Gemma and Jan, lovely to see you both together again. I loved the simplicity of the routines, it didnt involve a thousand different serums! Thought I would let you know that Purito has brought out a new, reformulated SPF and its lovely! Im not sure how it would go with oily skin but Im sure there will be someone with oily skin who has tried it who can let us know. Take care and stay safe x

Another great video with Jan, I’m 64 so her skincare is more relevant for me, however, with a busy life and a 1yr old Labrador lying in bed wearing a mask and then using another device isn’t an option currently!!! Her Neck and Dec look so different now though, massive improvement

Wow your Mum is a stunner! There is an italian brand of skin care called Acqua alle Rose that I love but not sure you can get it there.
I used the NuFace religiously for a year without noticing anything except more sagging. Now that I stopped using it, I've been happier with my skin.

@@glorialloyd4365 I tried some of those facial muscle exercises after I stopped using NuFace, and noticed an immediate improvement on my lower face, but the trouble is I'm too lazy to do them regularly 🤣
I got shocks from my NuFace, even on the lowest setting, which really put me off it.
@@talex1625 I never got that, just little pinching/burning sensations if the ultrasound gel had dried too much. I used two tubes of the NuFace gel, too, but I didn't find that it worked any better than the cheap ultrasound gel from a pharmacy. It wasn't offensively scented, though, unlike the "flowery" ultrasound gel 😜

Lovely to see your mum back again. I am 61 and love the LED - I have the Currentbody mask and saw good results - BUT I recently bought a LED panel and I must say, that really took it to the next Level. My skin has improved dramatically. I also use it on my knee and hips (arthritis) and the pain has diminished 90%. Fantastic 😀

There was no mention of the eye serum you list in the description. 😳
When I looked up the Klairs sunscreen, I saw that it has been discontinued. This was one of the sunscreens that were involved in that whole deal where, when tested, the SPF in the sunscreen was less than what was stated on the packaging.

In Australia we can buy sunscreen in litre pump bottles. Good quality and quite cheap. We need it here of course!

I missed so much a Gemma video, I stayed away for too long, work has never been busier. You changed your hair colour, and looks amazing on you, amazing! So nice to see Jan as well! I have to check through your videos about these electrical devices! I have seen Oprah using something similar and saying that every woman should use!
I adore both of you but this is not an inexpensive routine. We all can not afford these devises. From what I’m gathering a lot of you tubers we’re gifted these so they are quite lucky. Niacinimide was the only inexpensive item your mom uses. Lol
I did give other less expensive alternatives in the video as well. The devices are an investment…but they work. Xxx
Cerave V and The ordinary’s Nicinamide is inexpensive. I use those.
I'm disabled and live way below the poverty line as a single, DV survivor with an adult daughter. This is my way of saying I can't work or make more money, and I have no intention of dating/marrying (which tends to ease finances). Thing is I trust these two ladies. Knowing things that work means I can save for one or more of these things, including less pricier options she mentions. It sucks; I'll give you that, but You Tubers have subscribers at all income levels. What is pricey for you or I is affordable to others. It's also a matter of priorities and prioritizing. Lol I like to try clearance items from various stores, and I've found some great things!!!

I do a range of affordable, mid range and luxury videos but you can’t please everyone all of the time. When we do videos about our skincare routines, that’s exactly what they are….ours. I can’t and won’t swap products out to make them more affordable to suit a specific audience as that would be a lie. I can however, give affordable alternatives and share honest opinions which is what I strive to do daily. Thank you so much for being a member of the pack. I hope you’re well xxx

I am 68 and retired! Yeah! Enjoyed watching your mother’s routines- she is beautiful and has lovely skin. I am too impatient to do all of those steps though.

I just wanted to add that you don’t need to use the ultra sound lubricant while using the NuFace. Aloe Vera gel works just as well. I also wanted to add that you can use any lotion and spray it with an aerosol water like Evian or Caudalie’s grape water. I haven’t read all of the comments yet. Sorry if this is repeat advice.

Hi Jan & Gemma! Yes, very wonderful to see you Jan! You are absolutely radiant & your face/neck/decolletè look better than some women I've seen in their 30's & 40's! I too use the Bare Minerals oil cleanser & w/the mid price, it does go quite far & I don't mind paying mid price for it. As well, I use the Cerave, Ordinary Niacinamide or Buffet & their HA moisturizer. Whilst I am unable to afford the Chantecaille I have great affordable & mid priced dupes. I'm happy! I've just started the Dermatica as it's been only 4 evenings now & am super careful where I apply. I feel this is a good investment in my skin as I loved the other brands of retinol I could get at stores, but this is the next step & is tops. As far as morning cleansing, I stopped doing this about a month ago & feel my skin is still fresh, clean, well hydrated without natural oil residue. I just need to splash my nose more than the rest of my face. Lol Gemma, I've been apprehensive about the morning "no wash face", but will concede it does make a difference. Thank you for bring knowledge, products to the forefront especially for aging as I have a HUGE cosmetics arsenal. Doing this skincare love is for me. It makes me feel pampered having all the health issues I do. If others comment on my skin looking great & glowing especially after finding out my age such at a doctors or my folks leak it, I do feel good about that to. Lovely video, I found your tips and recommendations the most useful out of everyone on youtube! The only issue I’ve had is with Niacinmide. Although it makes my pores and blemishes look better I feel like iťs causing my skin to feel really thin (not sure how else to explain). So if I scratch myself or pop a spot it creates a larger “wound” and it heals longer. Have you ever come across anything like it? I’d be super grateful for any advice, but of course no proba if you haven’t got the time. Love your channel xx

Loved seeing your mum!!! I just love her (HI JAN!). I learned something a couple new things that I probably should have known all along. I have not been good about treating my neck and décolletage and should add niacinamide to my routine. I love me some luxury creams, but it would be good to hear you and your mum test out some different treatments for neck and décolletage. I will have to save up for the light mask, but I do have the NuFace and love how it lifts up my face. I use a retinol serum on my face and wondering would that be good to use on my neck and chest? I just don’t know if the skin in that area is the same as my face and don’t want to waste my money. Thank you so much Gemma, your info
Talking about vats of SPF, I remember buying something like that in the supermarket in Australia about 30 years ago and it had a large pump and was a very high SPF and very cheap.
