    My skin was quite fab until this year. I’m blaming menopause…ugh. I turned 50 this summer and wowza my skin has changed in the last 6 months. I’m not sure if it’s the lack of estrogen or what but holy moly.

      If your skin is drier, use products that contain ceramides....CeraVe repeatedly ranks #1 and is recommended by the AAD. Ceramides repair and restore the skin barrier. I hope this was helpful. Carol @the7thdecade

    Hello! Love watching your skincare videos! Do you use azaleic acid on both retinoid and acid nights??

  • @HerGreyness
    @HerGreyness 11 месяцев назад +8

    Has anyone tried the Naturium line? I have azelaic acid, vitamin C serum, peptide moisturizer and a heavy night time cream which feels like a blob but with finger warmth it works wonders. Naturium was acquired by ELF - so I am hoping the quality stays the same.

      I am using the Naturium purple ginseng cleaning balm and I don't like it. I'm forcing myself to use it up. It doesn't dissolve my makeup, and I have to use a cloth to wipe it off because it stays thick and oily feeling on my face.

Your skin face is gorgeous. I never had a lot of money to buy anything good. Really. Sadly I just can’t. I am going to get the Tatcha rice wash or The Tatcha Harper goodies. I also want the glow recipe serum

    I recently learned that when SPF is in a product, it kind of makes any other actives take a back seat, so it should definitely be used as a stand alone. Also putting other stuff on top of it or mixing it it’s other things makes it less affective- I let my skincare sit and then do spf- nothing you put on top of your spf will be penetrating through the SPF

    • @StephanieMarie
      @StephanieMarie  11 месяцев назад +2

      That’s my understanding too. Thats why I do my double eye hydration that way. I already moisturize during the main part of my skincare, apply spf, let it sink in, then add eye on top so my under eye concealer doesn’t look dry 👍🏼

    La roche p. Has a dedicated cream with and without spf for rosecea which is increably good. I can attest to it. It also has a shower get under the line Lipikar Syndet which is anti-itching and has been a life saver for my perimen. Friend who developed all over ichy skin as a result of hormon imabalance.

    Really helpful. Starting this asap. I wondered how you have no bumps with rosacea. Although I discovered staying away from aged cheese helps rosacea due to the histamine, it causes flares.

      Hi! I'm not always bump or redness free since I try new products and don't always eat well 🤪 But I find I stay pretty clear most of the time, with bad days mixed in here and there vs the opposite, which is how I used to be. I'm glad it's helpful!

    Hi Stephani Marie. I purchased "THE INKEY LIST SUPER SOLUTIONS 20% NIACINAMIDE SERUM" and also bought the Retinol serum.
    In what order should I apply them? Thank you so much, Einat.

    • @StephanieMarie
      @StephanieMarie  8 месяцев назад

      I normally use niacinamide during the day since it helps with pores so much. So if it's one of the thinnest/runniest products you apply, apply it as one of your first skincare steps. Since that's such a high concentration, you may want to start with 2-3x a week. I haven't used that high of a percentage, so I'm not sure how jumping in that high affects the skin. It may be fine, but it's best to be safe :) At night, use the retinol after any thin or runny serums, or if it's your only serum you're good to go! If you haven't used retinol before, start with 2-3x a week for a bit and work your way up :)
      Also, if your skin is sensitive, try one first to see how your skin does with it before trying the other. This way you know which one you're sensitive to. I hope that helps!

    Anyone with dry eyes using retin A or Retinal? My eyes are dangerously dry and all eye doctors say no Retin A. I’m 75 so maybe I shouldn’t be using it anyway but I have started short contact Retin A method. Put it on about 7pm and wash it off before bed. Studies say it works but…

      Feel free to go watch my alternatives to botox and filler video where I FULLY scrunch and move my face solely to show people like you that some of us look decent for our age because we have good genes and use other things. Does trying to bring other women down help you feel better about yourself? It certainly says a lot about someone to actually take the time to type out a comment calling them a liar.
