My skin was quite fab until this year. I’m blaming menopause…ugh. I turned 50 this summer and wowza my skin has changed in the last 6 months. I’m not sure if it’s the lack of estrogen or what but holy moly.
If your skin is drier, use products that contain ceramides....CeraVe repeatedly ranks #1 and is recommended by the AAD. Ceramides repair and restore the skin barrier. I hope this was helpful. Carol @the7thdecade
@julesbee6249 i had the same problem. I changed my product for transparent lab glycérine serum, deep oasis serum summer fridays, drmtlgy peptides night cream and biossance squalane oil. Hope it will help.
Has anyone tried the Naturium line? I have azelaic acid, vitamin C serum, peptide moisturizer and a heavy night time cream which feels like a blob but with finger warmth it works wonders. Naturium was acquired by ELF - so I am hoping the quality stays the same.
I am using the Naturium purple ginseng cleaning balm and I don't like it. I'm forcing myself to use it up. It doesn't dissolve my makeup, and I have to use a cloth to wipe it off because it stays thick and oily feeling on my face.
My latest conquest has been the Embyrollise Pink concealer. I have been using it in AM and it reduces my darker circles which I then cover with ND concealer and I am a teenager again 😂
It’s funny. I’m 62 and never had a skin care routine. I do have eczema, not on my face No acne ever (didn’t t have a lot at all) but !! I know everyone uses like 5 products. I need to add 😂😂😂. Your skin face is gorgeous. I never had a lot of money to buy anything good. Really. Sadly I just can’t. I am going to get the Tatcha rice wash or The Tatcha Harper goodies. I also want the glow recipe serum
I recently learned that when SPF is in a product, it kind of makes any other actives take a back seat, so it should definitely be used as a stand alone. Also putting other stuff on top of it or mixing it it’s other things makes it less affective- I let my skincare sit and then do spf- nothing you put on top of your spf will be penetrating through the SPF
That’s my understanding too. Thats why I do my double eye hydration that way. I already moisturize during the main part of my skincare, apply spf, let it sink in, then add eye on top so my under eye concealer doesn’t look dry 👍🏼
La roche p. Has a dedicated cream with and without spf for rosecea which is increably good. I can attest to it. It also has a shower get under the line Lipikar Syndet which is anti-itching and has been a life saver for my perimen. Friend who developed all over ichy skin as a result of hormon imabalance.
You should try beauty of joseon sunscreen. It is amazing under makeup. I saw it on another mature RUclips channel almost a year ago and have started my third tube and it’s very affordable.
Wow. I really needed this video. Really helpful. Starting this asap. I wondered how you have no bumps with rosacea. Although I discovered staying away from aged cheese helps rosacea due to the histamine, it causes flares.
Hi! I'm not always bump or redness free since I try new products and don't always eat well 🤪 But I find I stay pretty clear most of the time, with bad days mixed in here and there vs the opposite, which is how I used to be. I'm glad it's helpful!
Thank you so much for sharing your skincare routine! You have such beautiful skin. It’s very helpful to see/hear what is working for you currently. Do you have a more in depth video of the gua sha process and how to do it? I just bought a tool but have no clue what to do with it yet
Hi! I just realized I forgot to list it in my description box and added it. Here you go: ruclips.net/video/EmUotD09n28/видео.html I hope that helps you Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your routine. I'll try the medik8 when I'm able to buy fun things again. I hope that your fur babe is feeling & doing better. I appreciate you being here !
Hi Stephani Marie. I purchased "THE INKEY LIST SUPER SOLUTIONS 20% NIACINAMIDE SERUM" and also bought the Retinol serum. In what order should I apply them? Thank you so much, Einat.
I normally use niacinamide during the day since it helps with pores so much. So if it's one of the thinnest/runniest products you apply, apply it as one of your first skincare steps. Since that's such a high concentration, you may want to start with 2-3x a week. I haven't used that high of a percentage, so I'm not sure how jumping in that high affects the skin. It may be fine, but it's best to be safe :) At night, use the retinol after any thin or runny serums, or if it's your only serum you're good to go! If you haven't used retinol before, start with 2-3x a week for a bit and work your way up :) Also, if your skin is sensitive, try one first to see how your skin does with it before trying the other. This way you know which one you're sensitive to. I hope that helps!
Great video Stephanie with so much good product information. If you haven’t tried Colleen Rothschild’s glycolic peel pads please do so. They are an incredible exfoliating product that I’ve used for years and am never without them.
SORRY FOR GOING OFF TOPIC😥Is there a luster highlighter that's not as expensive as the one you suggested in another video. It was medium highlighter. Is there something "over the counter" or online that's cheaper please?
Anyone with dry eyes using retin A or Retinal? My eyes are dangerously dry and all eye doctors say no Retin A. I’m 75 so maybe I shouldn’t be using it anyway but I have started short contact Retin A method. Put it on about 7pm and wash it off before bed. Studies say it works but…
I use "MEDIPEEL - Peptid 9 Volume Bio Tox Pro Ampoule". It's kbeauty. It's amazing that I bought it here in Bishkek at 10,50 € and in USA is 50 $ in Stylevana
Can you use peptides with ahas? I have Melasma so I have to use acids (Tranexamic, Kojic and lactic) to help with the pigmentation, but I would love to add a peptide.
Feel free to go watch my alternatives to botox and filler video where I FULLY scrunch and move my face solely to show people like you that some of us look decent for our age because we have good genes and use other things. Does trying to bring other women down help you feel better about yourself? It certainly says a lot about someone to actually take the time to type out a comment calling them a liar.

Same! My skin is so dry! Hyaluronic acid is my friend.
Oh my goodness I need those wrist guard things. Thank you so much for all the love. xx, Indie
Thanks for this video. When I use any cleanser I massage it in then use my wet Foreo. My face gets amazingly clean and I love how gentle it is.
Hello! Love watching your skincare videos! Do you use azaleic acid on both retinoid and acid nights??
Has anyone tried the Naturium line? I have azelaic acid, vitamin C serum, peptide moisturizer and a heavy night time cream which feels like a blob but with finger warmth it works wonders. Naturium was acquired by ELF - so I am hoping the quality stays the same.
Love Naturium!! Hoping it stays the same, also!! 🥰
I use Natrium Niacinamide and eye cream. I love them both!
I am using the Naturium purple ginseng cleaning balm and I don't like it. I'm forcing myself to use it up. It doesn't dissolve my makeup, and I have to use a cloth to wipe it off because it stays thick and oily feeling on my face.
I like the good molecules peptide serum. It’s very affordable at ulta. I am 47 years old and use it every day.
My latest conquest has been the Embyrollise Pink concealer. I have been using it in AM and it reduces my darker circles which I then cover with ND concealer and I am a teenager again 😂
Oh sounds interesting!! I'd love to look like a teen again! 🤪
Your skin looks so healthy. Thanks for some recommendations.

@@StephanieMarie ahhh I got that totally wrong. Sorry girl I think I got ahead of myself there ❤️
This was so incredibly helpful! I have similar skin concerns. Thank you for your efforts 😊

The best product I have recently purchased is the Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Baume. My 56 year old skin is soft as a baby's bum every morning!
Thanks for sharing!

I’m curious about this too
Studies : some women had huge health issues using retinoid. That's why i will never use it. I think you should listen your doctor. Best regards

Absolutely!! :)
So what’s the difference between RX retinal & OTC like what you’re advertising?
Love you from Tigray East Africa 🌍 ❤
Wow…no makeup on and your skin looks beautiful. Thanks for a lot of information.
Thanks so much! ❤️
We love you from Tigray East Africa 🌍 ❤️
Your sunscreen has no PA rating? SPF rating is good. But what about protection against visible light?
I shared numerous sunscreens and gave even more options in the description and pinned comment. Which one are you referring to?
🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Did you say 48? Girl, I thought you were in your 30s. I’m about to watch your videos and take notes. I’m 36 and don’t look that good.
Don't have botox... yeah sure
Feel free to go watch my alternatives to botox and filler video where I FULLY scrunch and move my face solely to show people like you that some of us look decent for our age because we have good genes and use other things.
