yeah, i get it but, how do I ADD plugins to an already made VANILLA server? Or, how do I get my ALREADY MADE vanilla server to be a paper server without creating a new server from scratch?
What an absolutely nightmare it is to keep up with all these mods necessary for just a handful of quality of life features. And then with every new update you have to wait to redownload them all over again, if you're lucky enough for them to still be supported.
problem here, when running my server it runs it through the java command prompt? not the normal cmd prompt. when trying in plugins or /plugins nothing happens
Hi I'd like to know if there is a fix to signs not working in 1.20 because right clicking on a sign edits it now meaning that trying to use a trade sign or warp sign etc doesn't seems to work
Plugins are essentially mods that the server (the computer running the multiplayer world) uses. They're usually things like new commands, build permissions, gamemodes, boring stuff to help server hosts, etc. You're probably gonna want to be installing mods if you're playing singleplayer, this guy has a few tutorials on that too.

But the last couple months it always says this "The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “(the name of what I'm downloading)” can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)" and I don't know what to do. I got optifine and Java downloaded. Plsssss help me 🥺
Its because your downloading something thats already there you need to go into the config and delete the files for whatever mod/shader you've downloaded then redownload it back into the pluggins folder (if it is a plugin)

Had you tried make a new folder called plugins? It has worked with me sometime ago in another server hosting site.
