For those of you using curse forge, don’t open schematics directly, open curseforge folder, then worlds, (your world), THEN you can press schematics to enter them.

To hide the selection box hold M and press R, to toggle all rendering. This doesn't delete the selection box, but does hide it. Just remember to turn it back on next time you need it.

3 months ago I had learned how to use the mod. Now I literally forgot everything and now I have to relearn it lol

3:43 If you don't have the ability to search via your taskbar, you can just type it into the bar in the Windows Explorer window where the file directory is shown.
For example, if you're looking at your Documents folder, just click where that's shown at the top, then type in %appdata%, then press Enter/Return to immediately be sent to the folder.
or use win + R
btw for those who are wondering how to completely remove all line and schematics press m + r
to delete the schematic placement, you just press m, then go to schematic placements and turn placement off

i fucking love you. now i can easily build my castle because you showed me how to layer tysm i love you i will respect you for the rest of my life and i will never forget you for the great things you did for me and my friend and now we are a happier person because we can finish the castle a lot easier and we will not struggle building it by following exactly what to do by the whole schematic and i can layer it like so and it will be so much easier

w mans i was searching for this for so long
great tutorial, i saw people use this mod but was wondering how it worked and this explained it. im already used to world edit and this just seems like the world edit copy/paste with a menu and saveable items instead of commands so easy, but i would like to recommend lowering the background volume as i found it quite distracting sometimes. no hate though idk i might be one of the few people that noticed it or felt like that

Did you open minecraft with litematica installed and then close it again?
if you're using a modded launcher like for example modrinth you may put it into the installation's schematics folder

You can toggle the visuability of the selection box with M + G and toggle the visuability of the text in the left bottom with M + R

Can I use litematica in my hardcore world. It’s purely hardcore with no cheats ( I have not open to lan) ?
did u do it? don't do it mine corrupted and I lost every item, I opened LAN for a good reason ihate this bro
Oh that’s quite unfortunate. I haven’t used litematicq in my hardcore world because I’m not sure it I need to open to lan to use it (enable cheats)
2:02 Ok, so biggest tip is to set the mod to Selection Mode: Simple, since that makes everything about 10 times less complicated. Rest of the video was equally helpful!

BTW! you dont have to use the menu, find coods or place blocks to get the selection. If you are in the area selector, just hold Alt key and use scroll wheel button. Makes it SO MUCH EASIER!

To remove the schematic once done select M + P again, then click "remove" on the far right hand side of the schematic you would like to put away.
I come to this video every few months I redownload Minecraft and Litematica because I keep forgetting how to use it.

I tried making an area selection, but the hotkey just didn't work. And yes I know I was holding the right tool (it's customized), and none of my hotkeys overlap with other hotkeys (I checked), and yes I was using the right hotkey (also customized), and yes I was in area selection mode.

If you use the Microsoft store you can simply hit downloads and paste it into schematics from there no need for %appdata%
