I agree though, it is a great show and I hope it gets a third season.

Yikes, you are a Doug fan ey, i did not like Brendan beating on Ste for sure but their love and utter chemistry was undeniable, like the passion between them was steamy beyond anything, i melted over a mil times from it haha. Sorry saw none of that between Ste & Doug, if they were trying to create a triangle, they failed with doug, only thing i remotely liked was was his eyes. The accent, nope, the looks, nope, the steamy passion that was supposedly meant to be challenging to that of Bren & Ste, nope. Watching Doug as a new love interest was like an irritation and an insult to the chemistry between Ste & Bren, they should have worked harder to find worthy competition/triangle former.

I already loved the show after the first season, because the story was so good, also the actors. But the second season was so much better! The relationship between Kieren and Simon... it's just super interesting, complicated, but deep and emotional. I hope there will be a third season, not just for this awesome pairing, but also for the great story! :D

Thanks so much for this. I absolutely adore these two and it hurts to think that this may be the end of them. ITF introduced me to the magnificence that is Emmett and after I binge-watched both seasons, I stumbled upon Brendan/Ste. My life hasn't been the same since. Talk about addicted... Emmett is such a brilliant actor and I love how he has such great chemistry with his partners. A lot of straight actors do a decent job of selling gay characters but Emmett is on a whole other level. The explosive chemistry he had with Kieron and the sweet sincerity of his scenes with Luke are so palpable. I almost (selfishly) wish he'd keep taking on these kinds of roles because he does them so well. He's a true gem. I must say, though, that after the Brendan Brady experience, it's kind of weird seeing him looking this way with Brendan's voice coming out of his mouth.

They obviously have bodily fluids. If you think about it logically. The way the brain works is by sending chemical and electrical signals. Whenever you think or have a reaction or move signals are sent out. They move they think they even sleep which is chemically regulated by the brain as well and they get daily chemical injections. They must have other bodily fluids like saliva or tears for that matter otherwise they would never blink because they wouldn't need to. So the answer is likely that yes there is saliva involved when they kiss. Whether they feel it or not....that's another question.

I live in the United States and only recently heard of this show. I started watching it Friday and finished it on Saturday. It's really really good. I enjoyed it and hope to see another season...Or five lol.

I felt an emotional connection with Kieren for so many reasons and it helped me someway. I really wish they make a third season, I need it.

For me all of the characters are nice or kind of nice but jem. I mean like what is wrong withh her and no offence to whoever likes her but i thought she was good with her brother and then she's angry at him and then she kills her friend and lies to everybody all the time what i think it's so stupid-_-
Jem is a very conflicted character, but she has PTSD and certain social anxieties because she had to literally kill at such a young age. Not to mention she couldn't bring herself to kill her brother when he was in his untreated state, which lead to the death of her friend. You can't expect her to be happy go lucky and passive with such a tumultuous childhood. That'd be like telling a Vietnam veteran to get over it, and saying god, why are they so back and forth emotionally all the time? Assholes
O my gosh it's Brendan Brady!!!!! (from Hollyoaks)...was this the reason why he left hollyoaks?....Well I've seen Emmett's new stuff but did he leave the show to film this?...I want him back on hollyoaks😫😫😫....Ste needs Emmett J. Scanlan's Character at the moment...he lost Dean from the bomb, got addicted to drugs, went to rehab, found out he was positive, married and divorced John-paul and he's just broken up with harry due to his status. Wait a minute, Kieren talks about rising and being the only one up, but in one of his flashbacks there were many others around him once he got out of the ground. Is this just a mistake in the plot line?
Spoilers, I guess... The creator of the show confirmed that Amy was the first risen, not Kieren. I personally think that Kieren's story to Gary was purposefully dramatic, but probably not what literally happened. So I think the flashbacks are correct, and Kieren made that stuff up to mess with Gary.
I always figured anyone could think they were the first to rise. The graveyard seemed just big enough that if two people on either side rose, they probably wouldn't know about the other. Going by what they remember is indeed flawed
I love this show so much I watched the whole thing in the span of about 2 days. I just could not believe it when I saw that it was canceled. I really wished there was a number I could call for the BBC just so I could be like "What the fuck were you thinking?" I've got my fingers crossed that another network picks it up. I really wanted to see their relationship develop even more. Those two are so beautiful together.

manusigl It's not clear whether Simon said it accidentally or on purpose, but it clearly made it awkward at the dinner table. I tend to think that Simon did it accidentally--he was nervous about meeting Kieren's family and wearing that ridiculous cover-up and the contacts. As far as what "I like the way he gives back" could mean sexually, it's kinda like "returning the favor" after someone does something sexual to/for you. Sorry if I over explained that... I like the show. It's way beyond the typical zombie fare, where dead people or pds people are sheer evil. But it defies physical science. Zombies don't eat, yet still function? Where do they get their energy?

They don't feel anything cuz they can't feel
They obviously have bodily fluids. If you think about it logically. The way the brain works is by sending chemical and electrical signals. Whenever you think or have a reaction or move signals are sent out. They move they think they even sleep which is chemically regulated by the brain as well and they get daily chemical injections. They must have other bodily fluids like saliva or tears for that matter otherwise they would never blink because they wouldn't need to. So the answer is likely that yes there is saliva involved when they kiss. Whether they feel it or not....that's another question.

Yeah there was a point when Amy is pretending to be drunk and she says she's using sense memory so it's probably along the lines of a phantom feeling. Like when a person loses a limb but can still feel it.

I live in the United States and only recently heard of this show. I started watching it Friday and finished it on Saturday. It's really really good. I enjoyed it and hope to see another season...Or five lol.
They are so cuute. Today I finished In the flesh for the second time and I NEED MORE. I have so many questions and I need answers. I'm so sad they cancelled it. This show changed my life. I felt an emotional connection with Kieren for so many reasons and it helped me someway. I really wish they make a third season, I need it.

For me all of the characters are nice or kind of nice but jem. I mean like what is wrong withh her and no offence to whoever likes her but i thought she was good with her brother and then she's angry at him and then she kills her friend and lies to everybody all the time what i think it's so stupid-_-
Jem is a very conflicted character, but she has PTSD and certain social anxieties because she had to literally kill at such a young age. Not to mention she couldn't bring herself to kill her brother when he was in his untreated state, which lead to the death of her friend. You can't expect her to be happy go lucky and passive with such a tumultuous childhood. That'd be like telling a Vietnam veteran to get over it, and saying god, why are they so back and forth emotionally all the time? Assholes

Scanlan's Character at the moment...he lost Dean from the bomb, got addicted to drugs, went to rehab, found out he was positive, married and divorced John-paul and he's just broken up with harry due to his status. Wait a minute, Kieren talks about rising and being the only one up, but in one of his flashbacks there were many others around him once he got out of the ground. Is this just a mistake in the plot line?
Spoilers, I guess... The creator of the show confirmed that Amy was the first risen, not Kieren. I personally think that Kieren's story to Gary was purposefully dramatic, but probably not what literally happened. So I think the flashbacks are correct, and Kieren made that stuff up to mess with Gary.
I always figured anyone could think they were the first to rise. The graveyard seemed just big enough that if two people on either side rose, they probably wouldn't know about the other. Going by what they remember is indeed flawed
I love this show so much I watched the whole thing in the span of about 2 days. I just could not believe it when I saw that it was canceled. I really wished there was a number I could call for the BBC just so I could be like "What the fuck were you thinking?" I've got my fingers crossed that another network picks it up. I really wanted to see their relationship develop even more. Those two are so beautiful together.

When they met the first time i thought "Damn, why Amy has got a boyfriend? She should be with Kieren". Only during the scene when Kieren had kissed Simon, I understood their relationships. It's amazing couple, I can't be reconciled with cancellation of series.
just a question. during the dinner scene with kieren's parents, simon says 'i like the way he gives back'. now, as i'm not a native speaker, i thought he was only refering to the give-back-scheme, without it having a different meaning, or could be taken in another way. the reactions of kieren and steve however are pretty much a dead giveway that i have missed something. now, i could imagine that it somehow gives away simons relationship with kieren, but i'm not entirely sure how.

manusigl It's not clear whether Simon said it accidentally or on purpose, but it clearly made it awkward at the dinner table. I tend to think that Simon did it accidentally--he was nervous about meeting Kieren's family and wearing that ridiculous cover-up and the contacts. As far as what "I like the way he gives back" could mean sexually, it's kinda like "returning the favor" after someone does something sexual to/for you. Sorry if I over explained that... I just wanted to try to answer your question. Your English is amazing!

I like the show. It's way beyond the typical zombie fare, where dead people or pds people are sheer evil. But it defies physical science. Zombies don't eat, yet still function? Where do they get their energy?
