- Introducing Project Trailgater - our one-of-a-kind build that redefines the weekend warrior experience! We've teamed up with Nissan to transform a 2025 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X into an off-road tailgating beast. With its already impressive 310-hp V6 and rugged offroad enhancements, we couldn't resist kicking it up a notch. We added a sleek leveling kit, an aggressive exhaust note, and decked it out with a roof and bed rack. But the real magic? Dual weatherproof TVs, a custom grilling setup, and a Decked Drawer cargo glide system for all your gear. Say goodbye to boring tailgates and hello to epic adventures that blend trailblazing all day with tailgates by night. The Trailgater isn't just a truck; it's your new favorite pastime. Let's hit the road and kick back in style!

another looks over performance build
Nice truck..TVs are absurd though
Very cool build
Niceeeee!
Get rid of the 2nd tv that is on your sink side and replace it with a water tank to have water down to your sink.
I thought you guys were putting the Nismo Rock sliders…?
Payload is barely over 1k on that truck. Its gonna be maxed out but its cool as hell
Nissan Frontier
Isn't that TV going to ratle it's guts out. Or is there a after market TV 📺 that is shock prof.
It's niss an not nisson?
I wonder if these paid trolls are going to let us know how bad the transmission on this new frontier is and of all the issues it's having
Well, to be fair a few of us have had issues. My 2023 Pro-X needed the valve body replaced at 10,000 miles. I hope that’s the end of any issues as I plan on keeping the truck for as long as I can. It’s my 3rd Frontier so I am a fan.
How much does this truck weigh with all the equipment?
I'm curious if it's still within gvwr.
Payload is barely over 1k. That thing is way over that
What's the info on the new exhaust? I didn't see it in the video?
Nismo written on the muffler is all I saw
That truck needs bigger brakes for sure.
A TV? Really?
Tell me you're a TV show for city people who drive trucks without saying that you're a TV show for city people who drive trucks
They are a show for people to watch….nothing more
Tell me you’re a pompous Hill Billy without telling me you’re a pompous Hill Billy
Hay throw a turbo on your project give it 10 psi that way you have bragging rights.
I would say “trailgater” is a much more accurate way to describe these setups than “overlander,” as most of these are just glamping rigs that spend 99% of their time on a daily commute. My truck is setup for the unexpected as well, but it’s not kitted out like I’m going to live in the Amazon for a year.
They never called it an overlander. They said it was a truck for tailgating. They never hid that
Nice looking truck but there's no way on Earth I'm buying any Nissan and especially the frontier
Exactly
You can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still a pig.
Each of your videos is a small masterpiece! Quality, editing, presentation of information - everything is top-notch. Thank you for your hard work!♦️🐕🦺🫶
Your channel is a real treasure trove of inspiration. Thank you for your contribution!🌽❓🍹
OK. I get it, you have sponsors. Quick question. The grill. What possible benefit does it being attached to the truck have? Once you put legs on it...I mean what are we doin here fellas?
Which brings me to the subtle dig at Nismo camping gear. Early it was mentioned that the rear rack is lower than the roof rack. Which if you put that together with the "gyroscopic grill(cool idea)," not fitting under the rear rack, is what i believe leads us to our current Nismo grill situation. Attached to the truck for...reasons?
Why not put the grill by the chairs?
Why not put the chairs in front of the TV?
Why not lose the fridge, bring a friend who owns his own cooler, and all watch 1 TV?
Wouldn't you want the grill (fire, hot) at least a few feet away from the new truck (plastic, melt)?
I think these are all subtle jokes they do on purpose, and I am here for it.
This is what happens when Toyota goes away from the successful formula that was the Tacoma.
Nothing like spending $150k on a truck with fancy accessories just to live like you’re homeless.
That truck needs bigger brakes for sure.
