Haha Camera shops in Tokyo and Osaka are next level fun. You can spend days in there.
Olympus em1 miii. Try the high res mode, handheld. Pretty much noise free shots even at high iso, at high resolution. Of course for static environments, but the results are incredible.
And with its image stabilization you can really go down to 5-10s long exposures handheld
I can't do that with my EP7 and it has 5 stops or so.
Olympuses now are more like adventure cameras, rugged, IPX cerified - only expensive pro gear, also relative compact. Due to smaller sensor I would not do indoor events or sports, but landscapes/architecture (with hires) macro (because of larger DOF) is nice.

You're looking for film camera, try the canon canonet ql17. It's small and handy and even has an inbuilt lightmeter

I always have a Ricoh GR III in my pocket and I am delighted, I prefer it to using my mobile. It gives very good quality and is really comfortable using the snap focus.

I think the best point and shoot analog Camera is the Minox 35ML, very light and compact, very fast to operate with only one hand. If you want the best optical mage quality, then the Leica Minilux cannot be beaten.
Hey Pierre, i have got the Fujifilm X-Pro 3 and absolute love ist. It changed the way i shoot and inspired me to change the brand. No Imagestabilisation, Slow AF and the Hybrid Viewfinder give a Feeling of shooting a Digital Film Kamera. Absolutely fun to use it.

i’m planning to get my first cam,something like an a6300 or a7ii
atleast get an a6400, much better than the 6300
The A7ii is still an amazing camera and you can get it for a decent price. I still have one and would highly recommend it.
Get the a7iii - the battery is way better and a few more upgrades, its worth it
@@funkmasterkirk yea i meant if he was to choose the a6300, i have the 6400 and my gf has the a7iii, 2 of my batteries and she goes through one
@@michaeld6207 however the autofocus on the models from 2018 and above is much much better, so depends on what youre shooting

I've been shooting Fujifilm for a couple of years, amazing camera's dunno why I'd change to someone like Sony etc. Xpro series is fantastic for Street photography.
I got that cheap plastic olympus for travel, it looks great and pictures are not bad.
I know Kamlan! I backed their Kickstarter for the 50mm f1.1. It was a great lens for the price. I regret selling it.

I use the Olympus AF-1 compact film camera. It‘s super easy to handle, the size of the camera is perfect to for example take it with you when you go outside and meet up with friends. The shots I take with it are also very cool. Love it
I used before the dicapac for snorkeling, I think use about 10times, the zip there have a small crack, and water came in... Spoil my camera, I think better to used a6000 series, and buy a diving case for that.
All those brand new point and shoot film cameras are more or less the same in terms of internal mechanisms and build quality. There's a couple that have glass lenses but cost about twice as much as the others.
They're decent, light little cameras to throw in a bag and take with you. Though you might be able to get better, albeit older, point and shoot with all the bells and whistles from eBay for about the same price.
Is it okay to buy Lenses on ebay from Japan?
I never had an issue their descriptions are normally very good be aware of import duties etc but there are bargains to be found
Him not finding his accessory but finding everything else, is the same as, seeing that one Lego piece 10 time when you didn’t need it but now it’s gone when you need it.

It sounds unbelievable but I’ve been using a Nikon D5000 since 2010 for photography, two years ago I purchased the Sony RX100m5a and a few months ago I got The Panasonic S5 with the kit lens and the lumix 50mm 1.8prime for £1,200 brand new from Amazon U.K.!. So compared to my old Nikon and the limitations of the RX100 the S5 is like a rolls Royce!. Sure an A1 would be the pick if I had unlimited funds. But yea effectively paying £150 for the S5 body brand new I don’t believe can be beaten!.

Yeah the video really showed that he doesn't know much outside of Sony nowadays. Panasonic switching to a Phase Detect that rivals Canons in their new body is huge news

I know everyone does these videos, the choice is overwhelming in Japan like everything they do there. I think it would be better to let your viewers know beforehand and do their homework. I've walked away several times as the choice is mindboggling. Leaving you more frustrated rather than oohs and ahhs.
