😆 for real! That's why I write in pencil then go over it in pen. They are so beautiful I'm about to cry 😭 Each cover is so symbolic and foreshadowing the scriptures within😊
I just ordered these and can't wait to receive them! I was shopping for a Bible to read at work on my lunch break ... but remembering my poor eyesight I realized I would need a large print Bible... but as I'm sure you know - large print Bibles are HUGE and HEAVY. Then I saw these .... oh wow ... they are perfect for what I need! God provides! :) Thanks for the lovely, in-depth review~
Very nice! First thing I noticed though, is it's designed for right handed people! The note taking pages are on the right side of the pages! Oh...the struggles of being a lefty! Ha!
I’m still afraid to write in my Illuminated ESV Psalms scripture journal because how pretty it is. But I will soon. Once I make room I’ll be buying this set for sure as I want to grow in knowledge to eventually be able to lead, do Bible studies, and teach 🙏🏻 I will also soon retire my first Bible, a leather NIV (1984 version) that’s very worn out. May replace it with the blue ESV illuminated Bible.
Wow!! I wish I had seen these before I saw the ones with the black cover. I bought the gospels. Acts, Romans and Revelations with the black covers, now I'm going to have to get these. :) They are beautiful/
Are they blank on the journaling page or lined. I am really curious about that?. I can't really tell from the video. And thank you for doing this review
These are awesome. Separate books wouldn’t work for me as most bible studies I am in refer to other books. Both new and Old Testament. Example: Tuesday we are studying the book of John and we were also in Deuteronomy, Genesis, Isaiah, Habakkuk, Mathew and Romans. But they are a great idea for any kind of journaling or note taking. Thank you for sharing these.

Sounds crazy but is there a journaling Bible that has blank pages like the interleaved but also as lined margins or wide margins for writing beside the text?
Ok, I heard back from Mr Bradford; ‘It is more simple than it might seem. Scripture only existed in the form of the Old Testament until long after the times of Yeshua, Paul, Peter, John, etc. There was no such thing as a New Testament until about the beginning of the 3rd century. While the OT refers to itself as "Scripture", and the writers of the material that eventually became a new testament refer to the Old Testament as "Scripture", the NT writers do not classify what they wrote (in the form of Gospels, Epistles, etc.) as "Scripture". Thus even modern Bible scholars, when speaking in technical language to colleagues or students, will refer to the OT as Scriptures and the NT as the New Testament. Applying the term "Scriptures" to the entire Bible is merely a manner of speaking that generalizes what was always a specific meaning. Blessings, Tom Bradford ‘
Bible Journaling Ministries, it’s a video course here on RUclips, it’s just called, Torah Class, with Tom Bradford. I’m starting at the very beginning of his class at Genesis, and can’t possibly ever catch up in time to his recent updates, way too busy, but do what I can. Your classes are so sweet, Thanku!
Actually, according to the Britannica encyclopedia, any sacred text is considered scripture. Torah, Quran, Book of Mormon, New Testament, Shruti, etc., are all scripture because they are all considered sacred by various groups of people.
K'lah Dyer, hmmm, I don’t know for sure yet because neither one of u site reasons or references. All the definitions I can find simply say that the word, Scripture, refers to any sacred text, so I don’t know why Mr Bradford would say the word only applies to the Old Testament writings. His whole course is all about placing the Bible into its original surroundings, even from the beginning in Genesis, so he must have had a reason for saying that, but he didn’t elaborate, so I’ll have to find out myself! I guess I can email the guy, and post it back here...
THIS!!! Will be my Christmas present... To myself!🤗 TFS
Right now on sale on Amazon for 64.99 just an FYI. Maybe Christmas will come early.😍🥰
Was just thinking the same!
Great idea!

My sister gave me this set for my birthday last month, it is gorgeous!
Wonderful!
I want a sister! I missed out so much 😢
My husband got me the OT and NT set for my birthday and simply love it, too beautiful to write on it.

I wish you would consider a weekly Bible study. I would be so blessed. 🙏🏼. I think spread out on your coffee table would be fabulous.
Awwww....thank you so much. We do a weekly Bible journaling in our Momentum program!
I love these, I have Luke and James and want to gradually get the whole bible
I have decided to get my friend a few of these for this Christmas. I already have Isaiah, John, and James.
Perfect!
When we are doing a “book” study in church or Sunday School/Life Group, then yes I take the individual book. Mostly leave at home.
Very nice! First thing I noticed though, is it's designed for right handed people! The note taking pages are on the right side of the pages! Oh...the struggles of being a lefty! Ha!
You are totally "right"! My husband is left handed so I bet he would've noticed that!
Ohhhh the struggle is real😢
Hope they make one for us lefties..😊
Saw this and immediately bought it so thank youuuu 😂❤
I don’t have it yet, but it’s definitely going on my want list ☺️

Such beautiful books!
What a beautiful journal 🌻
These are stunning!!!
Thank you Erlyne ❤️
I would love this set.

I first bought a couple individual ones then the whole NT set. Box is great for storage of set.
Works same as interleaved bible but blank page only on the right which is great if you are right handed.
I have the whole set. OT & NT. I have not started in it yet. I haven't decided if I want to art journal or note take in it yet.
Oh yay!!! Decisions! Decisions :)

Totally!
I agree I'm going to purchase this set as a gift to myself, been stalking them on Christianbookstore.com. Great review as always Tracie❣
Yay! What a great gift to give yourself!
What size are they. Like an A5? I am thinking to carry in my travelers notebook
Only problem is that this is way too pretty for me to write on. One mistake would feel so wrong on something this beautiful.

The covers are beautiful!
Currently Kylie Herren is doing the study in the book of Matthew. I love it! Message me if you know others doing a study with these little books.
If you are adverse to the Gold, they also come with plain black covers and no art. - same price
I didn't know that. Thank you!
Yeeeees, ty for sharing! The gold was a bit much for me.
Are they the same inside ?
The plain black ones have no art, but all right hand pages are blank.
Exciting!!!
love my set im waiting for the old testament to be out

Good stuffs
Will journaling on a blank page go through to the page behind it?
It depends on what you use. Usually acrylic paint is safe.
Nice but it’s missing commentary to be able to doing more of a deep dive into the scriptures.
True - it is not a commentary Bible
Does it come in KJV
This one doesn’t
Occasionally on sale for $59.99
Why do they call it “illuminated”?
Because of the art inside, it’s in gold.
Any Spanish versión?
They also have the Old Testament Set or you can purchase the individual books.
I want this

Just FYI, technically, Only the Old Testament is called Scripture.
The New Testament are epistles and/or simply Texts.
Thanks! I have always called them both Scripture. Please share a link so I can learn more!
