" You thought I lost my train of thought, I Didn't, I'm a genius " 😂😂😂 my day was made.
Watched this video a long time ago. Finally got an 8" a couple of weeks ago. Yes, this video was the reason I initiated my quest to own one. Thanks for the inspiration. Already ordered Wilson Combat sight upgrades after researching options that have been brought forward in February 2024.
Recently bought a Python. I paid a bit over MSRP at $1800 after taxes. Everywhere else I looked for one, they were about $2000-$2600.
Normally wouldn't pay over MSRP, but I really wanted it.
If Hickok says it’s a good gun it’s a good gun
Hopefully Ruger brings back the .44 Magnum semi auto carbine.
Now That I’d pay $1500 for. Wish I had bought one way back years ago when I had the chance.
Keep it light weight and simple and affordable like a 10/22 on roids that’s gas operated it be a handy little rifle.
@@Ericthered21 if they bring it back it’ll likely be everything you said but affordable. lol
Would be great if they did.
I bought an original Anaconda back in the day. Looked pretty but went out of time firing heavy hand loads. Sent back to Colt. Timing locked up again. Sent it back. When it returned, I Immediately sold it for a 629 Classic DX. S&W is more accurate and never malfunctions with hot ammunition.
I beleive the original Anaconda was based on the King Cobra action, which was cheaper and easier to produce than the Python action.
i feel like with those hands, Hickok is a beast with a basketball
Thanks for sharing! I got my Anaconda for the base MSRP if you can believe it... just lucky I guess. I also called Silencer Central and made a purchase for my plinking pistol and told them you sent me! Thanks for all of your vids, your opinion means a lot.
i love the genuine laughter after a shot lmaooo like he rlly enjoys it
진정 즐기시는듯 쏘고나서 헛헛 웃으시는게 너무 좋음
The single action is fine it feels like..... Well whatever they say it is probably lol antics like that just solidifies why I enjoy Hickok45 so much
I bought my Anaconda from Sports Authority back in the 90s. I don’t remember what I paid for it. Mine has the 6 inch barrel. A heavy weapon!
From KY and at Bud’s Gun Shop! I love the KY banter from Hickock! Problem is he can’t count to 6 in this video! Lol. The best!
I hope they come out with the .45 LC version. I owned one back in the '90s and loved it.
this guy has more strength in one arm than me in the whole body a 44 Magnum revolver takes it as a 22 lr revolver great😯😯💪
I miss my original Anaconda in 45 Colt..Tack driver and perfect out of the box. I sold it for 10 times the purchase price a few years back and regretted it.
Now I can replace it.
The new Anaconda is a great gun. Ditch the hogue rubber grips and go to Altamont grips and pick up some nice wood grips. This gun has an extremely smooth double action pull. There are no stoppages or jerky movements.
You missed out on making a Dirty Harry reference in the beginning! "Did I fire six shots or only five...?"
And Nice Bow at the end of the Video by John.
Love your Jimmy Lile Rambo Knife brother.
I've only fired one old Anaconda. One of the smoothest revolvers I've ever shot. Like glass.
new one much better
Old Anaconda’s on Gunbroker all have bids on them, GB flooded with new ones and no bids. Everyone likes what they like.
GOOD JOB CAPTAIN 👍👍👍👍👍
I’ve been waiting for this for years!!!
Solid review, from a shooter of all things! Always enjoy your videos. Anyhow, the handling, recoil, smooth trigger, all of which were covered here. I passed on a Python in 1995, and long regretted it. Anaconda is a bell ringer for a hunting sidearm. Time to find one.
Just purchased a ruger redhawk .44 magnum. That things a beast.
I got a model 629 5". Also a beast.
My hand hurt thinking of how hard a kick that gun has. I fired one round outta that sum bitch and the earth shook.
I have never shot a .44 magnum. I have a Ruger GP100 stainless steel 357 magnum revolver with a 4 inch barrel.
Gotta get one man. My SP101 feels like a toy ever since lol.
I’m a simple man,, I see a beautiful Colt 🐎 I click!
From under the Famed Blue Dome Hartford Connecticut. Samual Colt’s tradition of superb revolutionary revolving repeating hand guns.
Just bought my colt Anaconda and I’m in love
14:17 you can see the bullet travel to the gong SWITCH THE VIDEO PLAY BACK SPEED TO 0.25X AND WATCH CAREFULLY.
Can’t help but be impressed by the difference between this and the 9mm on the watermelon... wow what a difference. Not to mention the kitty litter container.
yep, that's 44 mag for ya it deletes things nothing fancy it just makes things not exist any more
Can’t see this happening to a human melon!! 😳😳😳
I’m currently reading Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novel “Persuader.” Jack Reacher has two of these. What a beast of a gun. I have a Ruger Alaskan in 44 mag that I adore, but these Anacondas are gorgeous. Great video HickHock!
is it only me or ..........i love sound of freedom
I mean, the sound of freedom is nice, but not 1500$ nice.
@@Kiba69420 but it worth that kind of money don't you think
@@aminelucky2518 a Pistol? No. Its the same reason i wont buy a desert eagle now. They went from 750$ to 1500$.... for no reason other than they could charge that much and people would pay it. There isnt a shortage of parts, there isnt new innovative design work thats worth just that much more. Its worth what its worth.
The real question is, why are people willing to pay more for one pistol than they are another. If you laid a 2021 Anaconda next to a Ruger GP100, without seeing the logos, would you be able to tell from handling or shooting? No. So why is one 600$ and one 1500$?
@@Kiba69420 thanks for your feed back but i was talking how can you bay gun easily in USA not Discussing the acutely price ps i love Tennessee and Kentucky freedom
@@Kiba69420 Love my GP 100!
Silencer central shoutout
In a 44 mag video🤣🤣🤣
Good job Hickok👍
"Lets see if it will go through that tin can... It did." Lol
Just picked up my 8 inch Anaconda. Great video. Now if I can find 44 magnum ammo.
Hickok is the grandfather/dad we all wish we had.
I'm jealous of John. lol
good to see hickok45 on my recommended videos again
Looks like the grip is pretty good and provide sufficient control of the recoil.
Glad you’re back.
Such a sweet gun. .41 mag is another sweet one and more forgiving on recoil. It's pretty much a reloaders cartridge now though.
I agree with you on the 41 mag. If they resurrected the 10mm then why not the 41 mag? I read an article in the American Rifleman magazine which said there were a couple experimental Pythons made in 41 mag. What better way to revive the 41 mag than to offer it in the Colt Python?
@@jonbaniak9097 There isnt a demand. Society is knuckle dragging ignorant about the smallest, double stack polymer pistol they can get their hands on. I agree with concealment but you can also bark one .41 mag out of a 4 1/2 barrel and stop a threat instantly. I dress around a 9mm with the proper rounds but I wouldnt mind a .41
Amazing that you can actually see the round flying through the air before it hits the gong.
