I’ve always admired how everyone respects Carlisle enough to never go against his wishes. Certainly, the rest of the Cullens could have turned against him or argued with him at any point in this series and backed out of whatever fight was coming their way. He wouldn’t have stopped them. Yet when Carlisle asks for someone’s help, they find it hard to go against him. He’s logical, reasonable, and fair, and he is so respectful to everyone that I think the others want to be like him. It’s why Rosalie doesn’t argue with him here, despite not wanting to help. It’s why so many vampires gathered in Breaking Dawn; many of them liked Carlisle and knew that he would never lie to them or force them into anything. He simply asked for their help. He treats them like decent people no matter what they say to him. His patience is endless and his goodwill seems to never fade. I’ve never once seen him lose composure.
Carlisle is an astounding character and I hope that some people, including myself, can learn to be that patient and good to others. This series just goes to show how it can benefit everyone by being polite and solid in reasoning.
I agree so much, Calisle was always my fav character and its so sad that in the movies we barely got to see Carlisle and his backstory (also Esme's, that was a big waste of a really good story)
tho I am happy that in Midnight Sun we got to see Carlisle a lot more, and especially his relationship with Edward.

When Rosalie said "why what is she to me", Carlisle slammed his stuff on the counter so fast I thought he was about to slap her. Carlisle be having his adopted kids in check. You see Rosalie ain't say nothing else after that?

Perfect boys exist, they don't have good physique, not very good looking, mostly bullied for who they are.. Girls' lives are miserable (in most situations) coz they don't have a set of eyes to see through those guys.

They all were so different back then. Its so cute. I feel like in the first movie, they all were getting used to their characters. In this one, they are so different from their characters in the later movies.

I just realized Carlisle pulled out wads of cash. In an unlocked cabinet in the garage. I know it's a house full of vampires, but they're not always there and sooner or later someone is bound to come sneaking around and make a fortune in a few seconds.

This is one of the scenes where the book is sooo much better.
Bella in the book comes up with such clever ideas and logic that everyone in the Cullen family agrees with her, even Edward, to let her go with Alice.
But in the movie she says nothing, there's no clever ideas, just one sentence from Carlisle.
This is the reason everyone craps on Twilight. They just watch the movie and shout at thetop of their lungs that Bella has no agency, she lets thing happen to her bla bla bla.
