After almost a year running IKEA's new FÖRNUFTIG system, I've gotten my hands on the new Mila air purifier system with "Critter Cuddler" filter. Is this the smartest purifier available on the market? Time will tell - but here's my unboxing and initial thoughts on this beautifully designed air purifier system!

Thanks for this. I was not able to successfully connect to the app. Am I able to use it without the app? Like on auto, or just manual. Wish I was able to use it with the app. Thanks again!
Thanks for watching! Yes, you can use it without the app but the notifications on the app are much more detailed and useful than what the small screen on the Mila itself can tell you. I would definitely try to troubleshoot with Mila support to get it connected, it’ll be a much better experience!

I was considering the rabbit air purifier for cigar smoke...... I wonder how this fares for cigar smoke??
Thanks for watching! Not sure how Mila would fare with direct smoke - it does a good job of removing second hand cigar odours from the air though (I smoke a fair few of them from time to time 😉)!
@@ADesignersLife that's what I'm talking about... I might have one cigar a day.... Think it would help??? Doing research on air purifiers before purchasing one... This looks cool but I've read some really bad reviews on it... But I guess there's bad reviews for everything
So far, so good for me with Mila - absolutely no complaints at all! I am using it in a completely different application though, and I haven't read anything about how this unit would handle cigar smoke. I can only comment on how it handles the odours after-the-fact.

That's news to me! I haven't needed after-purchase support yet, but the purchase and setup process and use so far has been great.
BUYER BEWARE! I bought two and both broke right outside of warranty. Go figure. And of course they are sorry but won't do anything.

Really sorry to hear about this! I’m not quite at the end-of-warranty point yet but hope I don’t end up in the same situation :/
